I have yet to buy anything in this store. Just online. Nobody ever greets me, offers service of any kind or even gives off a welcoming feeling that makes me want to stay longer than it takes for one turn around the store and right out the door. The clothes are quality enough, but not enough to keep me there when the reception is so.... Apathetic. Not to excuse profiling because that's just shoddy behavior, but it's *not* due to my appearance either. I'm not a yoga pant wearing mama in flip flops. Not to knock that *at all*, because we all have our hobbies. Clothes just happen to be a prominent one of mine. I get no love from AT Loft. None at all. On the other hand, I have such an exact opposite experience next door at Ann Taylor that it's pretty much the only place I buy clothes. --95% of my clothes are AT. I'm in there nearly once a week if not also getting packages shipped because I wear more petites than they offer. Get it together, Loft. You have some work to do! read more

The clothes aren't what they used to be. I rarely find anything I like anymore, and from reviews on their clothing, others agree with this too. Quality is on the decline. The loss of interest has been for the past 2 years. Anything I do happen to like is sold out and must be waitlisted. The online checkout process is not smooth. The in-store check out process became problematic when the reward system changed. I rarely shop here anymore. read more

I love this brand! Being in DT Naperville this location does get a lot of foot traffic so it's usually pretty busy and can be messy because of it, but they definitely get some unique pieces other stores don't. Everyone helps me when I need it, and they can order online for you if they don't have the size there. Wouldn't be my first location choice because of DT parking, but I would definitely go back if they had the item I was looking for. read more

First time at this Loft in Naperville, and I can't believe how amazing and satisfying their customer service was. Everyone is so nice from the counter to dressing room. They're super helpful and willing to to go their iPad to help me check on items I wanted to purchase. Will be back ! read more

Went in today to return some shirts I bought. The manager was clueless and did not even know her inventory. On top of that, she was trying to force me to pay for shipping and order online. She was incredibly rude, snotty and too lazy to call other stores for my size. I am the customer and do not want to be spoken to that way. I have been to this store multiple times and not once did anyone greet me or ask if I needed any help. Never again! Get the sticks out of your asses ladies! read more

This is a nice, large store. I'm not the biggest fan of their of clothes,...I much prefer Ann Taylor just down the street,... but I am rating it four stars because it offers a lot of variety, the latest styles, and decent sales. You can supplement your wardrobe with basic tees, camis and jeans. They also have cute jewelry and other accessories. Their sales associates always make me smile and the store is consistently neat and clean. read more

I've been to this Loft several times and will probably come back. They usually have some nice sales and a good selection. However, the dressing room situation is almost always a nightmare - why?!? This shouldn't really be a problem since it's pretty much never packed full of people in this place. My last visit shows how the dressing room area is run: This past week I went in on a weekday during the afternoon. I had a nice clerk greet me and I told her I was just looking around. Once I found a few things I wanted to try on I headed to the dressing room. There was no one around to assign me a room, but several doors were open so I walked in one and shut the door behind me. There are NO LOCKS on the doors. I had a dressing room attendant barge in on me - without knocking - while I was undressed. OMG, how mortifying. I didn't hear an apology of any sort, nothing was said at all. When I left the dressing room with something I wanted to purchase the dressing room attendant ignored me while kissing up to another customer. Wow. I still bought the item because it was cute, it fit, and was on huge clearance. I'm still kind of upset with this situation but I realize that it was probably a mistake. For future reference: * Please knock before opening a dressing room door * Maybe check underneath the door to see if there are feet inside giving you a hint a customer is already in there * Stand by the entrance like you're supposed to and greet everyone coming into the dressing room area read more

This is the perfect place to get clothes for work. They have really sophisticated clothes that are so comfortable! Can't beat that combo -- comfort and sophistication! The prices here can be on the high end...but the quality of the clothes are great! read more

I am forever in Loft shopping for clothes. The Naperville store in town has friendly and helpful staff. They set you up in a dressing room when they see you have a few things in hand and then check on you to make sure you are okay. They exchange sizes for you while you're in the dressing room which is great. I hate getting dressed and undressed just to get a different size. If your particular size is not in the store, they ship to your home for free. They have a good return policy and I just love Loft clothes in general. The only thing I really don't like about the location is parking...I drive around and around in the lot across the street trying to find a spot and eventually have to go down the street to the parking garage. read more

I went into the Loft yesterday to help my sister find a jacket for a job interview. She hasn't worked in years and wanted to feel sharp and good about herself. Mary was helped in the fitting room by Shandra (sp). The clerk did not give up, kept bringing her things to try until Mary found an outfit she felt comfortable and confident in. Thank you for working so hard, the friendly service and the laughs in the dressing room. Mary loved the outfits she bought. We will be back. PS- She got the job! read more

I like this place way better than the standard Ann Taylor on Jefferson. Wow, what a difference in store experience. On certain days I give it four stars, but I often find the clothes to be overly conventional. You can do much worse though. It's good mainly for my corporate look, but that's only 40 hours per week. read more

First time here at this location and the Loft in general. My sis in law and I got to experience their 40% off reg price items & 60% off clearance on a holiday Monday so needless to say it was a little packed. What I LOVED about this store was the fitting room attendant. I wish I got her name but she was amazing! She was super friendly and helped every single customer with their clothes. I mean giving me tips, advice, kind words, and she really made trying on the clothes so much fun! The cashier line was long but they rocked it & got the line down quick. All this great customer service made me love their clothes even more! I can't wait to visit this location again, probably when they have another great sale! read more

I really like Anne Taylor especially in the winter! They have great coats, sweaters and pants! Last year I wanted to buy about 75% of the clothes I saw there! It can get a pricey-but the clothes last a long time and are the type you can wear more than just one year. read more

I came into the Loft for quick look. No staff came up and greeted me nor did I hear, is there anything I can help you with? There were 3 customers in the Loft store they were helped except me. When I saw a staff member putting away clothes, she just passed me and I took the initiative to say hello. She then said, "Oh hi can I help you with anything?" I was holding a pricey blouse in my hand as well and she said that, "you can find cheaper blouses for sale against the wall." So her choice of words were very inconsiderate, assuming I could not afford it. I was already disappointed that no one acknowledged me and I had to acknowledge a staff member. I also tried on a few blouses in the fitting room, the lady didn't even come and knock to see if I picked the right size or can I get a size for you? I have been to many other Ann Taylors and Loft stores, I have never been treated horribly like at the Loft in Naperville. Terrible customer service! I work in the Customer Service industry and to be treated like that was horrible! read more
