I want to honor Kate spade and her life and the sadness. I feel that she had to kill herself. She had so much talent and a nice minimalist and creative design. I wish she were still here. So if you like Kate Spade stuff and Outlet Malls, you have both of those here. We like this Aurora Outlet Mall and make sure to visit the Kate Spade outlet every time we are here. The store has a lot of different Kate Spade offerings and they change with the season. Prices are very nice. The usual Kate Spade clothes are expensive, but with the mark-offs the outlet price is a winner. $400 dresses for $100 or $150 is ok if the style and look is spot on. Purses and all the other items are similarly priced. No one can argue that Kate Spade is not a timely fashion. You won't find something you're looking for every time you visit, but visit every time your out here and you'll often come away with beautiful stuff. If you visit this outlet mall make sure to stop by Kate Spade, you won't be sorry. read more

There is no sale quite like a Kate Spade Outlet sale.........KS knows how to mark down their store in a way that has ladies toting out bags on top of bags when leaving. If you are a fan of the brand, what is there not to love about 60% off the entire store promotions with an additional 20% select items (handbags)? One would think the items are of poor quality or in odd colors, but they are not. This location offers lots of small leather goods or accessories for under $50 which is a great price and way to buy trendy colors. I recently bought leather conditioner which is good on any leather product for $3.60. Wallets $28, belts $20, etc. The quality of the leather goods are not nearly as nice as nice as they once were, but the prices are a great way to add a pop of color or trendy accessory to your wardrobe without breaking the bank. Upon entering I am always helped, greeted, informed of the current promotion and directed to newer marked down items. read more

Now this review is how I was treated today (5/1) but normally it's not this way because of how busy they are. Anywho, I entered into the store and to my surprise was greeted immediately. The store associate asked if I needed help finding anything and I politely said no. I browsed around and was greeted again with, "can I help you find something?" Nope I said and proceeded to shop. They complimented me on my braids which I thought was nice and my purse (which wasn't KS). I was interested in knowing if my iPhone 6 Plus would fit a 7/8 plus case and they allowed me to try the cases to make sure it fit! It did!!!! I originally went in to purchase a passport holder and walked out with an additional 2 other items! Today was the final day of 50% off with an added 30% off, so I had to take advantage! I died and went to accessory heaven! I love Kate Spade, and I wasn't disappointed when walking into this store. I drove 3.5 hours to shop at this place, and it was completely worth it. The ladies working were very nice and accommodating. I'm very indecisive but they put up with me and made many suggestions for me. They were in the midst of their President's Day sale, so nearly everything in the store was 60% off with an additional 20% (which I hear they do most of the time anyway, but I was happy nonetheless). Many people complain about the quality of the bags, but you get what you pay for in the end. I noticed no issue with the bags I picked up and tested out. If I had wanted something that was exquisite quality then I would dish out the $300+ to get a normal Kate Spade bag. In the end, I walked out with a new purse and a personal planner :D So happy! :) read more

If zero stars were possible, this store would indeed receive zilch. I am so angry, and it really does take a great deal to get me so mad. The morning after I took the tags off I looked down and noticed a massive tear in the leather that should really not happen from normal day to day wear, and in under 12 hours of using the bag. I hadn't done anything out of the ordinary. I called the Kate Spade Outlet where I purchased my bag and after the woman was contradictory by telling me they'd never had a problem like this before. But wait, was it a metallic bag? (No.) She told me she couldn't do a thing for me and to call their customer service line. I did this and the customer service center was closed, even though it was during normal business hours. I then called the Kate Spade store again and explained to the woman how disappointing this was and I'd like an exchange or a refund. I mean if a bag can't put up 12 hours with me, I can't imagine a year and a half, like my last bag. After telling me she couldn't trust I hadn't done something crazy with the bag (like place it in my blender?) she finally said she knew exactly which bag I was talking about and would put one on hold for me until Monday. Insert Today. I went to said outlet mall with my mother. I'd thrown out my tags and such before using the bag so I knew this may be a problem. When we arrived the bag I was told would be on hold was a different bag then the one I had bought. It was about the size of a grocery satchel, far too big for my petite frame. I asked if they would allow me to exchange the bag for something worth less than this grocery satchel and they said no. They would only allow me the grocery satchel unless I would wait for them to check other outlets for the ripped bag. erallly used this bag and as my current purse and needed a bag as early as yesterday. At this point I asked for the manager. She was as cryptic as Ann Wintour, and not nearly as posh. I know that is not nice, but she treated me horribly. She told me it was my fault I didn't tell the woman on the phone exactly which bag is mine and therefore the manager I spoke with wasn't to blame. She too told me she didn't know what wear I had done to the bag. I wanted to take a polygraph. And then I remembered receipt in my wallet . I asked the manager "Please, can I just have my money back now." She snidely said "We'll see if I can take it." My Mom then said "Well its a 14 day return policy, it's been about a week, there's no reason for you not to." The woman then laughed and gave me back my money. I felt I had to defend myself, my integrity, and my check book at the store. It was so upsetting, especially because I'd looked forward for so long to owning a Kate Spade bag, it just isn't right for a customer to be treated like they're on a witness stand. One should never leave a store feelings worse for wear than when they arrived! It was like they were clinging so desperately to not losing my sale they didn't even care about what is the right thing to do. The woman never apologized or said thank you or good bye when we were done with the transaction, and I walked right over to Coach. It's so disheartening to have your word questioned when you earnestly were just as upset with the defected product as the sales person. read more

just like the bcbg 'round the corner in this outlet mall, i can never leave this place without finding a few beautiful items at amazing prices. first of all, the store is well-merchandised and arranged beautifully. the employees here are generally very cordial and helpful, always offering different styles and sizes for whatever you're looking for. the merchandise ranges from classic kate to funky and colorful kate pieces, and everything from tiny clutches to giant totes. shoes, accessories, and jewelry are also available for purchase. they have 3g // 3gs and iphone4 cases, and i walked away with a sweet one i hadn't seen at any of the non-outlet stores for a fraction of the price. butter. the only reason why i removed a star is because it is important that you check the quality of the item you want to get. there might be a tiny scratch, or, as i've definitely seen myself, some items with minor tears. minor or not, who wants to spend money on damaged goods? (answer:: no one.) i always check items, ESPECIALLY when i'm at outlets, but some people don't, so consider yourself warned. constant vigilance - it's a way of life. the number one thing that keeps me coming back for more are the ludicrous sales. as if the satin clutch you're eyeing isn't already half the retail price, take another 50% off! i'm not kidding. it's unreal. good thing i only go out to aurora every six months or so.. read more

This store is adorable and had an amazing sale when I went in but I wasnt' even able to buy anything because I was completely ignored. I was in the store for about 20 minutes total and not once was I greeted or offered help. Fine, whatever I knew what I wanted anyway. I stood at the register, purse in hand ready to pay and no one came to check me out. I probably waited for 5+ minutes and nothing. Yea, I know 5 minutes doesn't seem like a lot. But when the store is tiny and theres only 3 other people in there then yes, this is a long time. They finally noticed me as I was leaving. Gee thanks. Today I got a beautiful purse, wallet, and sunglasses at this store for a total of $398. The purse was originally priced at over $400, the wallet at over $200, and the sunglasses at $150. I am so happy. All handbags and clothing in the store was 50% off, even clearance. Wallets were 30% off. Seriously - I was astounded at the prices. Coming from California for a business trip we don't get people this nice all the time. I came to the aurora outlets on a mission, I knew what I needed and stopped in many shops to find the perfect top. I went into the Kate spade store looking for clothes and jewelry, I sped past the handbags and clearly this was not appreciated. There were at least 3 people working with about 2-3 customers in the small boutique. I was treated as if I did not matter. I had to ask for a fitting room, ask for another size, and ask to check out. I was ignored. I have very high expectations of customer service and this did not even begin to reach an adequate service level. I will not be spending any more money here if I can avoid it. Reason for 2 stars? Insanely great deals, their prices could not be beat. read more

Don't expect to get anything for a buck, but do expect to save a lot of money on a coveted item. Handbags were 30-50% off the already marked outlet price. I considered a blue, quilted handbag: Originally $398, marked down to $298, and it was 50% off. Do the math: That's a $400 handbag now on sale for $150. That is the kind of deal that is common in this shop. The dressing room attendant was very nice and asked if I needed another size, even though the store was packed wall to wall with a long line at the register. The cashier was fairly cheerful also. I've come to this store twice in the past two days and bought a purse each time. The sales and service here are absolutely unreal! Get this. 40% off everything in the store, +20% off handbags, +15% off student discount! I got 2 bags for less than $100 dollars in the past 2 days! The selection here is great, for bags, wallets, iphone cases, jewelry, etc. They have a few flip flops and some clothes, but if there was more it would be better. The service is good, and the staff is for the most part enthusiastic and professional. It's nice because they never let the store get too crowded by having lines outside. I was browsing around, trying to figure out what I was going to buy for my "Secret Santa" since they had an amazing sale. However, I felt like I was constantly being harassed by one of the employees who kept asking me if I needed help with anything and kept watching me as I browsed through the store. I noticed that there were two other women who were Caucasian who were not being followed at all and they had arrived around the same time as me. Once I was ready to check- out, the manager never bothered to help me, nor did she acknowledge me while I was in line for five mins with no one in line. Five mins later, she noticed me when the other two Caucasian women were ready to be checked out and had one of her employees help me. Never again will I go and buy something at this particular store, they have lost my business. Just because I am brown, does not mean I should not be followed around a store. My race, does not define who I am, and it is sad to see that other people think that it's okay to judge other by how they look. read more

I live quite close to the outlet so I've come here maybe twice a month. Recently I found out quite a few changes so decided to write a review on this store. This store has promotions most of the time which is a plus (but of course only for outlet collection, not regular one). But on the downside, the quality of the goods here are not up to the brand standard anymore. Sometimes, I noticed winkles on leather bags and... stains, they might have tossed and turned those bags in the inventory. For handbags worth couple hundreds $, I think they better store them in good condition and handle with bit of care, shouldn't they? Another thing is dust bag. Usually most of the items come with a nice dust bag. I bought a crossbody bag a while ago, it includes a dust bag. But lately, I saw the same bag in store but without dust bag. When asked, the rep lady told me that she hasn't seen this style with dust bag. Hmmmm shady.. no wonder lots of kate spade dust bags are floating on ebay recently. Oh well... read more
