This is one of my favorite Target location.  The staff greet me as I enter the store; always helpful when needed and friendly as well.  This store always have the items I am wishing to purchase and the customer service is fast and efficient.   Very good selection of just about everything, but if you can't find what you are looking for, just ask and they try their best to help locate it. Like, an arts & crafts section had canvases, paints, craft kits, etc. but it was more like a mini Michaels, slightly higher priced. Big Halloween selection of candy, decorations, and costumes. The fresh fruit and vegetables were nice, but priced higher than Jewel. Deli and some prepared foods, too. I was able to get what I needed, and thanks to self check-out, get out quickly. The line at the sole open register was very long. A staff member did call for back up. Plenty of free parking. Covid safety protocols are in place and they were followed by staff and customers. The self check out area was well staffed and they were cleaning between each customer. Nice job on that!! Very clean store. Looking forward to my next visit.

    Halloween candy season begins.

One can always find some reason to shop at Target. But I do wish for the days when stores stocked after hours or at least not during peak times: today the place was choked with dolleys, trolleys, staff sitting on the floor in the aisles. Throw in shoppers with their carts not knowing where to go around them and it was a mess. This is not limited to the holiday season but has happened before as well. I like to pick out my own items but maybe curbside is the way to go after all.

Shopping card one foot from Lund lake which I pulled out.

I am happy to say that Super Target in Warrenville has made a good effort with handling trash & securing their shopping carts around Lund lake.

April rolls around an still no sectional, they tell me to check back in May. I call back in late May and they tell me early July. Early July rolls around and they tell me August. August rolls around and they tell me September at the earliest as they don't even have a container number assigned to my order yet. Now keep in mind it's been nearly 9 month and they have raised the price of this sectional on their website a couple times well over what I paid, it is now listed for nearly double the price I paid, this might explain why they had been pressuring me to cancel my order the last couple times I spoke with anyone. Jackie at the Aurora store is completely useless not to mention rude and unprofessional. I ended up finding a sectional elsewhere that was in stock so I cancelled my order. I was told it would take a week for my refund check because they said they can't credit it back to my credit card due to the length of time since purchase. I told them I would pick the check up from their Lombard Corporate location where the checks get cut, I didn't want to wait for it to arrive via snail mail. It's been a week today and now they are telling ,me it can take up 14 days. Please keep in mind they require full payment up front so they've held my money for 9 months interest free and continue to hold my money at the time I'm writing this. This company is nothing but a bunch of con artists. Absolutely terrible customer service! Month after month of lies and now they continue to lie even after I canceled my order. If you value your time and money I urge you to shop elsewhere. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

My boyfriend and I came in search of a couch, and they had so many options that were decently priced too. They had a double discount of 20% off then another 20%, which was generous! They had couches of all sizes, colors, and materials. We really wanted a couch with a chaise, but they only had couches with it on the left side, which I would say is the only downside of this outlet. Also, all of the employees are SO nice. The lady that helped us was amazing. I really wish I got her name! She was talking to us about the couch we originally wanted, but she showed us different options, gave us moving websites to get the couch delivered, and helped us figure out to my boyfriend's Crate & Barrel card on his phone because he didn't have it in person. They have a huge selection of appliances in the store and in the warehouse. A great place. It makes me excited to move out! I know where I'll be coming to get a new couch.

For some reason c&b think that charging store prices at an outlet is an ok thing to do. I've I wanted store prices, I'd just go to my local or order it from the privacy of my home. I also don't understand why they feel they can charge so much for such severely damaged furniture. I'm not sure the best carpenters could make this stuff look good, but you can hand over maybe msrp-10%. What a deal. Hopefully you can sense the sarcasm. It was the worst of scratch and dent I have ever seen. Even today, I'm trying to understand the business model that makes it all make sense. I'm struggling. If it were me, and I love c&b, pass on it. This places soils the name of Crate and Barrel for me

I drove back to my rental property where this would be used and assembled the table and chairs (as much as I could). When I finished with the table, I noted a large scratch and secondary, small scratch (too pics). Then, the two chairs had 3 left legs and 1 right leg (!). I reported these issues this a.m. via chat, which took well over 20 minutes. I gave up and called. A gentleman at their customer service center was able to send a replacement chair via Fed-Ex (5-8 days). That said, he indicated that I had to text pictures (not online or via call) to report the scratches. So, I was moving on to my 3rd method of contact for the day. I texted pics to the number provided, and ended up texting with the same person from the online chat. I was told I'd need to return the table at the warehouse (40 minutes away) and pick up a new table (borrowing a truck again). Their QC is apparently awful. This is what you get for "cheap" furniture. I'm currently texting with a rep who is telling me there's really nothing they can do and that I needed to open all the boxes while on the ramp (there was a car behind me impatiently waiting). Also, they ask for signature the moment the boxes are placed in your car-- there is no opportunity given for inspection upon pickup. More important, we all know that we simply expect orders to be right in the first place. I've ordered so much furniture in my life and really, I can't remember ever having an issue. The pick-up at the warehouse also wasn't smooth-- the address provided in communication send you to the truck entrance-- not a big deal, but you have to back-track 3/4 mile. Then, I was sent to the loading dock to pick up and I waited almost 10 minutes before anyone opened the door. I called (no other way to contact) and was told the dock staff was occupied (I wasn't told that 10 minutes prior when I checked in at their offices on the other side of the facility). Even the shopping experience wasn't great. I had a sales staffer that had approached upon entry and when I later approached her (after looking around the store for a few minutes), I was swarmed by 3 other sales employees. Does this tend to happen at other stores? Absolutely. That said, it usually isn't to this extent. It is hard to explain, but it reeked of an unprofessional environment. Update: I just ended this issue after over 90 minutes devoted to the this issue. They "agreed" to send the table to me... but, what an ordeal. Texting is not a reasonable method for handling anymore more than the most simplistic issue. Chats/text-based "customer service" is for when you really don't care about your customers. My advice? Go elsewhere

But it was time for an update. We requested a free in-home design consultation and Ashley Baron called to arrange our meeting. She arrived at our home and spent plenty of time speaking to us, taking photos and detailed measurements. Once she had a feel for our likes and dislikes, she left and set up a time to come to the Naperville store to review her ideas. She used some very cool VR tools to show on a big TV a virtual picture of our room. She added her initial ideas for the new items for us to view. Then she offered many alternative choices for us to view. We then went to the showroom and sat in several examples to see what was most comfortable for us. Ashley showed us several fabric samples, first her recommendations, then let us view all to see if we liked something different. We found for the most part we loved what Ashley had chosen. Ashley has a great eye for style and really understood what we were looking for in our update. She then added those fabrics to our virtual living room to show us exactly what it would look like. At no time did we feel any pressure or pointing us to or away from anything. It was an excellent experience. Ashley told us we were free to do this update in stages if we liked or add whatever we chose. And as I stated earlier, all this expertise was supplied at no charge. The quality of Walter E Smithe furniture is excellent. It has stood the test of time in our house with four growing sons and now four grandkids playing and wrestling over the years. It still looks great with no wear showing. WES is not cheap furniture. But in my opinion, you cannot beat the value. I'd much rather have excellent quality over some other "throwaway" furniture I've seen. We cannot thank Ashley Baron enough for all her help in choosing the items for our home. If you're in the market and you're near Naperville IL, ask for her.

The GM and management truly doesn't care about you as a customer. They only care about getting your money. I worked with Jorge (one of the managers) and bought a couch. Instead of paying the $300 delivery fee, I opted to go pick up the couch myself. We set the pick up date for January 1st. I asked multiple times if he was sure that they were going to be open New Year's Day, which he assured me they would be. He was wrong. On January 1st, I rented a Uhaul and spent about $75 and 3 hours of my time and drove to the Romeoville location to pick up the couch. I found out upon arriving, that the warehouse was indeed closed on January 1st, but stores were open. Jorge had made a mistake. I reached out and sent him an email saying I was in the parking lot disappointed that I spent the time and money and came all the way here. He responded to me admitting the mistake, apologizing repeatedly, saying they would fix it and make it up to me. It's all in emails. At this point I was thinking they would come Back and offer me free delivery, as I already wasted $75 and my time and was not interested in doing it again when they made the mistake and owned it and said they would fix it. They were willing to do nothing!!!! Zero. Told me basically "sorry, mistakes happen, you got a great deal on the couch and margins are too thin to offer you any more of a discount. Go rent another Uhaul and spend another $75 and 2 Hours" After going back and fourth with them for a few days, they offered me $50 off my couch and told me to go rent another Uhaul and spend my time again. $50!!!! Not even enough to cover the cost of the first Uhaul. So I'm expected to go pay for a second Uhaul and attempt another pick up? That was their solution. I went into the store to talk face to face because as anybody would be - I was incredibly frustrated with the customer service. Arem the GM (I believe is his name) was short with me, disrespectful, and ENTIRELY disinterested in helping resolve the situation. Even though I have emails with them admitting they were wrong and made a mistake and said they would fix since I wasted time and money to go pick up initially when they told me to. I told them to cancel my order then. Then he was suddenly "willing" to cover the expense of a second Uhaul to keep them from losing the sale. I said wanted my first one paid for upfront before I go spend more money, but he insisted they would not do that, and told me to go rent another truck and send them the receipt and that he promised me the next morning within 24 hours he would send an adjusted invoice. 10 days later nobody will return calls or get back to me. I never received an adjusted invoice as promised. These guys will say anything to get a sale or keep a deal in check, but it's blatantly obvious that they truly do not care about you or your experience - just getting your money. I will be returning my couch, happily paying the stupid 10% restock fee, and will be moving in from room place and never doing business with them again. Worst customer service and first time in my life I've ever left a review of any sort because I truly believe people should avoid doing business with them. Maybe it's just this specific room place in Aurora - but I'll forever tell anybody to stay away and shop at Ashely or any of the other common furniture stores.
