This Target is my new "lunch break" Target. I'm still getting used to the lay out - it's somewhat different from the Route 59 store, but so far I'm happy with it. I've picked up a few grocery and health & beauty items here. I have had no trouble finding what I need, and the employees are always offering their help. There's a Starbucks inside as well as the Target Cafe with the Pizza Hut. The barista at the Starbucks counter is very sweet and attentive. The only thing I dislike about this Target is the parking lot. It's in a busy area, everyone is in a rush, and no one likes to drive with any awareness that other people exist. But...that's pretty much most of Naperville. read more

Their business practices are garbage. The online orders are packed like a toddler did it. The boxes are flimsy, broken bits of pot plants were everywhere, they pkg nailpolish with clothing, and none of the tape holds ANYWHERE on the box. My last order was only half arrived on time and the poor UPS guy asked if I wanted to refuse it because the entire contents were tumbling around the back of his truck. I refused it. Then I tried using the app for a refund and it wouldn't process it. It forced me to call their 800 number. I did. The first guy, "Alex," said if I didn't like their shipping, I "should go order from Amazon instead" and hung up on me. The second call who answered said it was the career UPS guys fault for their terrible packaging and issued only half the refund. I asked where the rest of the order was. It was days away. He didn't bother asking first and issued me a refund for that too so now that stuff wasn't coming. Then he ended the call. I tried using the app today, it forced me to go to the website and login and then wouldn't let me login without calling the 800 number AGAIN. I did. Turns out, the last guy closed and canceled my entire account. That's why my login wouldn't work. I asked who did it and why. He said the last guy forwarded the call to their internal customer service team and once that happens, it no longer ties their name to the audit list of the account so allegedly there's no trail of who did anything because there's also no notes as to why my account was forwarded internally too. With all of the online businesses booming, this is how they treat repeat customers...read the reviews on their app in the App Store too. I'm not the only one dealing with people they pay to treat customers like this. Dozens of others have had to deal with this same online shipping nonsense that's a nightmare for anyone with a household of kids. Throw in the long lines at their store (7-8 people backed up and 2-3 lanes open in all of a super target store and nobody coming for 10-15 minutes) and it's time to cut the cord. Super-friendly people! I really like this Target store because: 1. I always get great parking. (good when it's frigid out) 2. It's right off the I-88 toll. ( no need to fuss with traffic) 3. Cute dog clothes. ( yes, she actually enjoys hoodies like me) 4. Amy's Burritos under $2 and HUGE selection of assorted vegetarian items 5. They always have great deals on their clearance items. (Cute winter tights for 3 bucks!!) It's funny too. Yesterday night, my husband pointed out the chubby husband/small wife ratio in the store. We clearly and sadly fit right in. Sigh. read more

I am a Target-a-holic. Can't stay away. Sadly, this is the location closest to my office. It means I go there a lot. This is what I like about it: * Starbucks in Target - my two favorite things all at once and SBX has the super ginormous size drinks, which many of the other non-freestanding stores do not have. * Bigger clothing selection than my two usual Targets. * Much tidier dressing room than my two usual Targets. * Excellent produce selection - for some reason, I always get the best grapes and blackberries here at this location. * Holy clearance endcaps, Batman. * Tasty sandwiches in the deli area and lots of other quick, premade food options that do not force reliance on frozen meals so yay for that. * More than enough checklanes and more than enough people to run them - though I will say they do have some more surly folks here. I really hate the parking lot at this location - it's surrounded by restaurants and at lunchtime, it's hard to get in and out of and since I go there pretty much only at lunchtime, it is rather obnoxious. There are two Target stores close to me; this location and the one on god-awful 59. For now, this location has been the primary store of choice. It's also where I had my prescription transferred to when I was unemployed for six weeks. When you don't have insurance, it helped getting your much needed prescription for under ten bucks. So I had to give up Walgreens (no big loss there, really) and join the Target pharmacy. Now that I have a job again with insurance, I no longer care about my prescription being on the low-cost list, but it's still nice to know if the SHTF again and I'm unemployed, I can still get my pills without issue. Like any Target, you can't go in for "just a couple of things." Oh no. Many, many times I've ended up leaving there with a cart full of "stuff" and wondering "what just happened?" Was I a walking zombie, mechanically putting items in the carts I didn't need just to spend money? Perhaps. I've come home many times with buyer's remorse. There are a few things I do not like about this store. For one, the location just plain sucks. With so many restaurants surrounding it, this is not a good place to come during lunch or dinner times. Granted, there's an easy right-hand turn lane into the lot if you go east of Davis Parkway, but many times I'm too impatient to wait for the light and will turn early. Secondly, all of the sample tables that have popped up. Dear god, it's bad enough with Costco causing traffic jams in aisles, but it is seriously a thousand times worse at Target. When I come to Target, I just wanna get my basic sh*t (or stuff I don't need) and get out. I don't want a sample of shrimp with cocktail sauce (I hate shrimp) or a Lean Cuisine freezer meal (the meat has the texture of dog food and probably tastes the same). Just let me shop, damnit. Third, the checkout lines here are always long. It doesn't matter what time of day it is; you can expect to wait forever. I blamed the cashiers. I know they're being friendly, and kudos to them taking time to chat with customers. But seriously guys; when your lane is six people deep, cut the chit-chat and wrap things up. Only once was I lucky enough to have a woman in front of me with a cart full of things notice my work badge usher me in front of her. She even said "You only have three items and are clearly on your break. Go ahead- I'm in no hurry." THANK YOU, kind stranger! I've done the same thing for others when I grocery shop- if I get someone behind me that's holding a loaf of bread and milk, by all means I allow them to go before me. It's only right. There's not much else to say about Target, really. If you've been to one, you've seen them all. Some have a small grocery section, others have a full supermarket and there's still some out there (I'm sure) that are just basic goods stores. After the huge ID theft scandal, I still only use cash when shopping here. Luckily I wasn't one of the people affected by that nightmare, but I'm not taking any chances. read more

This Target is absolutely massive, super clean, and has tons of helpful employees wandering about- A fantastic feature for a store as large as my neighborhood. The grocery section is actually fairly appealing too, potentially making this Target the ideal one stop place for all of your, err, needs? What's keeping this from being a five star target in my eyes is the crazy parking lot and convoluted system of stoplights and stop signs that you have to fight through in order to make it through the doors. Seriously, entering from Diehl often feels more like the adult automotive version of Legends of the Hidden Temple, only without winning a Sony Discman if you survive. Regardless, I always make sure to rep my Blue Barracudas pride. read more

Here's what I hate about Super Target, as taken from a convo with my husband earlier today: Me: "Okay, so we need diapers, cheese, bread, eggs, and milk. We'll run in and out, and be back in the car in fifteen minutes." Husband: "Okay. Do you think we need the debit card or just cash?" Me: "Oh, I don't know. We'll be spending less than $40, so probably just cash. But I guess you can bring it just in case." Husband: "Okay, let's go then." Time exiting car: 11:41 AM, with all three kids uncharacteristically agreeably in tow. ::whistles:: ::crickets:: ::tumbleweed blows by:: Time of return to car: 1:02 PM. Bags in cart: 11. Money spent: $198.73. There ya go. Seriously, what is it about this place that prevents me from spending my allotted amount and purchasing only necessities? It's a weird defiance against humanity. It's violating. And I loooooove it. My only complaint against ST in Warrenville--and bear with me as I'm just being greedy now--is that their book section is pretty craptacular. But before the kids were able to *be* in tow, I was a college English teacher. So I am a snob of epic proportions. Overall, love this story. I used to like this Super Target location many moons ago. For perspective, I have gotten used to and like very much the business of buying on Amazon. If I can avoid going to a brick-and-mortar store and it is not a time crunch, then I will go on-line almost automatically. Today, I had some Target gift cards to use up and decided to get some produce. All went well in the selection process. This store has great parking, wide aisles and is well stocked. The bathrooms are bearable. This store fails miserably in the area of getting people through the check out lines in a flash. There were many associates milling around, but not nearly enough registers open. There were two people ahead of me in this one check out line. The lady in front was having some sort of crisis. Then, after she made her way through, the man in front was almost done in the scanning of his items. A bottle of liquor was the last item and the flashing light of death was turned on by the cashier for some reason. It took a while for Mr. Manager to come over to resolve the issue. Borrrrrring. What should have taken three minutes soon turned into twelve. I suppose that it's still better than Wal-Mart. I am sticking to Amazon.com as much as possible, because it's quicker and there are no people. read more

This Target is the best! They are friendly and spacious. Not crowded at all like I am used to in Chicago. I love the grocery section and pharmacy. The pharmacist and I are on a first name basis. I was at the target doing some shopping and they had samples. I was excited to see they had a vegan cracker with hummus! I reached for one and upon grabbing it saw a long hair on it so i said "there's a hair" and reached for a different one. The woman the yelled at me for touching one and when i tried to explain that there was a hair she was mad at me... for her mistake? I was not happy and walked away from her. I found a manager and explained the situation, she was very attentive and reassured me that she would have a talk with that employee, if it wasn't for her this review would not be a three star, great management! read more

I LOVE TARGET! Especially this one! The one on Jefferson may be a little closer to my apartment...but I don't care - this one is better. Here's why: 1. They always have more cashiers open compared to the one on Jefferson. So I don't wait in line forever like I do when on Jefferson. I zip through the checkout lines. Also I feel like the cashiers are more friendly. 2. Grocery section here is awesome! I always find what I'm looking for at reasonable prices. 3. I have WAY better luck in the clearance section here compared to the one on Jefferson. Always a bigger variety and I always find a thing or two (or ten lol) that I want. 4. It seems as if this store is less crowded in general compared to other area Targets. My only complaint would be parking. They have an over abundance of handicap spots up front (in my opinion) and the layout of the lot just isn't the greatest. I always have a hard time with parking. But other than that I'm a fan! read more

I used to love going here but now they've redesigned the entire store and they made the aisles SUPER narrow. So narrow that you can't have two people going two directions in the aisles. You can see the frustration on everyone's faces when trying to shop but you can't because there's no room. I'm very disappointed and sad that they've done this. read more

Agree with others that the new layout is lacking, even after I learned where everything is now located. Used to love browsing and shopping there. Now, not so much. The previous layout was much better. While this Target it literally cleaner and nicer than the other Target stores in the area, it still has diminished itself for many customers. read more

This used to be my favorite Target location to shop at. But now I don't want to shop here anymore. They remodeled the entire store so all of the aisles are incredibly narrow and small! Two people going up and down the aisle can't even pass each other! This was not an improvement at all. They also reduced their outdoor section and bedding section which is greatly disappointing. The whole inside and outside of the store was just filthy. Every trash can was over flowing. The staff was anything but friendly. I'm not a fan of target anymore. I feel like it's just an off brand Walmart now. They aren't providing any reason not to just go exclusively Walmart. The managers should have noticed the filth and chaotic aisles and haggard displays. It couldn't have all been demolished in one shift. It was sad to walk in a supposedly nice target in an upscale neighborhood and it looked like a war torn bodega in a third world country. It's not a worn down building. One place where you can pick up a prescription, a latte, toilet paper, organic veggie meals, a running skirt, and a cute party dress = Love. Target is my favorite big-box store because of the quality of the items it carries. Warrenville is my favorite Target because it's easy to get to and its selection is best (nothing is ever picked over in my experience). read more

This is my favorite Target in Chicagoland! It's so clean and huge and not at all crowded. I LOVE to go here after work or even during lunch because it's such a breeze to run in and run out! Nice selection of groceries (even some organic)! Huge selection of just about everything else and friendly service (and since I'm there all the time I'm sure if the service was just bad I'd have noticed by now. Seriously, worth drive just to have the ease of easy parking and clean, spacious shopping! I would drive past three other Targets to get to this one. LOVE it. read more

This is never the Target I PLAN to visit... but it's ALWAYS the Target I just end up at when I'm driving down Diehl and realize, "That's right! There's a Target here! How handy, 'cos I really need one right now!" In other words, the location isn't convenient for me in the sense of making a night of shopping or anything... but it's terribly convenient for when you're on your way elsewhere and none of the other Target locations will quite do. This is our go to place for shopping--we're here every weekend! Maybe we're just lucky but we've never had to deal with incredibly long lines or a messy store. This location is so much better than the one on 59. My only issue is with one of the employees there, not sure of his name but he is an older gentleman with white hair and glasses. Maybe it's just his personality but he always comes off as rude so I try to avoid him whenever I can. read more

This is the most disorganized Target I have ever been to. In most Targets, aisles are grouped together in a manor that makes a lot of sense, in a "like with like" major. This location is a hodge podge mess of products that is in a confusing and stressful layout. In my experience, most targets have the same layout.. electronics, greeting cards, office and party supplies all in one area, home goods in another, kitchen supplies in the same area, and then groceries all together. I felt like I had to walk all over Kingdom come to find what I was looking for, because it felt that nothing was where it logically should be. The Target in County Farm Road is much better, and also much cleaner! read more

my friends and I were going around target, sort of dilly-dallying like anyone does at Target, but we were also buying groceries. We had put our smallest friend in the cart because she thought it would be funny. We weren't disrupting anyone (especially because we were there at an off time). When it was time to pay, we pulled over in an empty aisle and helped her get out. That's when an employee came around and said "That's kind of disgusting, little kids pee, poop, and throw up in those carts and sometimes we don't even clean them." EXCUSE ME?? YOU DON'T CLEAN THEM??? That is absolutely repulsive. Never going back to this Target. If their carts aren't clean (Keep in mind we had FOOD in them) then what else isn't clean?? I love Targets in general, but I love this Target very much. There are two Targets by me and I like this one better because the layout makes more sense. The prices are reasonable and I love the selections. I have always had a lot of help from the staff, they all seem very friendly. Although there is one cashier who always is too energetic and in your face. He irritates the heck out of me and I hate getting in his lane. Also lately, the bags here have sucked! They have to rip them apart every time they get a new bag. I'm glad I shop at this Target for 1 reason. I was looking for a bath mat and this store didn't have it, the man that helped me was very kind. He first checked to see if they had it in the back and then checked at other stores for two different sizes, gave me the phone number to the other store and the DC number I would need to give them. He was very kind. When I called the other store 1) I was on hold for 10-15 minutes and never got in touch with the bath department, so I just hung up and went over to the store. 2) When I pulled into the store I saw two cop cars and thought "hmm, weird" then saw the two cops coming out of the store. They had arrested someone who turned out to be a Target employee it looked like. I'm not sure the crime, but it made me very glad that I normally shop at this store. read more

I love the local target and the people who work there. I go at least once a week and on one occasion was looking at a coffee maker and the clerk in that department told me that there was a coupon for coffee makers on the Target website. Ran home and printed the coupon and saved an extra $10. The checkout clerk told me that I could stack the Target coupons with manufacturer coupons for even more saving power. Very cool! Once I was looking for Jicama in the produce section and again someone asked if they could help me find something. Turns out a truck had made a delivery and he went in back and found the Jicama for me. Great customer service, great deals, clean store, what more could I ask? read more

Nicest..employees..ever! I was in the area and wanted a car charger, so Target was the obvious choice. Walked in, took a look around and found the electronics section immediately. As I stop to browse the blu-rays, one of their employees came up and asked if I needed help. Sure! Instead of just pointing me in the direction of the chargers, he walked over and even found the one I needed. I asked about a screen protector too and while I opted against, he took his time finding the right one for me. A few seconds later I hear him asking someone else, then someone else and probably even someone else. Well, of course you can't walk into Target and buy one damn thing, so I walk to the opposite side of the store in search of q-tips! Same deal as above, except with a different employee. Everywhere I went, everyone was friendly. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because certain sections seem to be broken up a little weird, but with employees as helpful and friendly as they are...you won't have a problem finding anything. Too bad I live in Chicago, my go-to Target is filled with mean, mean people. read more

This Target is as good as they come. From the consistently stocked shelves to the extremely helpful workers, I find myself constantly venturing to this location. I have noticed in recent months the quality of the items sold at Target have increased greatly, which brought upon a small price increase that has been well worth it in my opinion. I am compliment on my clothes almost daily when wearing Target. I am so very happy with the grocery section of this location. I find myself only going else where for cheaper produce. (looking at you Trader Joe's) This target location has become a one stop shop for me. read more

Yuck. Was here last week and there is a young dark haired check out guy that wiped his runny nose with his hand as he was checking out my groceries. You know, if you are sick you should not show up for work or at least have a stack of tissues and hand sanitized by you. Especially if you are handling grouches like fruit and veggies. That being said on the gross person, I come here frequently and I really like their prices and selection. We stopped in for an emergency popcorn run (because, all popcorn runs are emergencies!). My guy went in search of popcorn, and I stopped to use the restroom. The restroom was nice and clean. Check outs were well manned, that by the time I was out of the bathroom, my guy was already done and waiting for me. We were back in the car on the road 6 minutes after parking. I confess I'm addicted to Target. I usually go once a week even if I don't need anything. I just like to walk around and browse. I tend to like their clothing and buy most of my pants, shirts and sweaters from Target. The absolute best bath towels I have ever purchased are their Fieldcrest towels. The staff in the electronics department are very helpful. If they don't have the item in stock they will check other Target locations for you. I use the cartwheel app which offers some good discounts. Target also offers price matching and I've always had really good customer service. read more

Worst experience at a target. The merchandising team had 2 full rows of bags marked at 39.99 and there was no price tag on the bags themselves. At the register the manager rang it up as 59.99 and when I alerted them they were priced at 39.99, they refused to honor the price. When you are a regular at the location and spend thousands of dollars per year somewhere with no problem, you would think they would want to maintain good customer service and at least offer a percentage off for the mistake. To offer nothing and just say sorry is awful service. If it was one that was misplaced that would be one thing, but to have two full rows of the same bag that is your fault as a merchandising team, and you shouldn't punish the guests for that. Best Target I've found! I am a Target freak-I go every 2-3 weeks and binge. Great customer service, even from the high school students. I love that if you lost your receipt, you can return something anyway (they look up your purchase with the debit/credit card you put it on). Great grocery section; awesome prices. This Target is not your average Target. Trust me, as a Target connoisseur, I know my Targets, and this one is the best. The place is MASSIVE and always very clean and bright and lovely. The staff are actually available and around and ASKING YOU IF YOU NEED HELP, unlike most Targets, where you have to skip and dive down aisles to find a real live person and then drag them back to the question you had four aisles over. Because this is a Super Target, they have a full grocery store right inside. I love the archer farms brand prepared salads and sandwiches and have, on more than a few lunch hours, lingered shopping in the store as long as I could, then grabbed a chicken Caesar wrap and a Starbucks (because there's one of THOSE in here too!) and ran back to the office. Their produce, baked goods, meats, even their fresh flowers are typically great quality, and their prices are not terrible. They keep the rest of the store in great shape, too. There's rarely the mountain o' forgotten and unhung clothes in the fitting rooms or around the racks, and even their crazy seasonal aisles stay well maintained during the height of the respective season. I know it's weird to gush so hard over a Target, but this one is legit SO WONDERFUL. Go there and browse and tell me I'm wrong. You can't. Your face will be stuffed with target brand food and Starbucks coffee, blissfully unable to speak. read more
