I have been relying on Marshall for all my plumbing needs for over 10 years now. He has fixed my water heater, fixed a leak in my backyard, installed new toilets in my house, repaired times when black water started spouting into my shower, and repaired other leaks and clogs. He is always quick to respond to my urgent calls for help. He is friendly and kind. Also he is very knowledgeable about plumbing and always knows what to do. I'm very happy to find a plumber that I can depend upon in any of my plumbing needs! read more

Called several plumbers over to give me an estimate for a new toilet. Marshall was the only one that would come the same day. When he can he explained my options and gave me a fair price. I hired him on the spot, mostly due to immediately trusting him. He went and bought the new toilet and replaced the old one. While he was there I asked him to look at my shower that also had issues, he quoted me a fair price again and he fixed it. It hard to know who to trust and Marshall honestly feels like you neighbor that you've know forever and does plumbing. I would highly recommend him and I'll be using him for all of my future plumbing needs!!!! PS...best shower ever!!! read more

Very happy with the service that Marshall gave. He worked on a main leak at my rental house. Got his contact through my tenants. Marshall came out right away for estimate. He repaired the leak and in process had to cut, removed and repaired the sidewalk concrete. He kept us up on what he needed to do and when done, sent us pictures. I've added his # to my address book for any future repairs and would highly recommend Marshall Plumbing read more

Marshall was prompt, communicative and friendly. Plus he was wearing an Indiana Jones baseball cap!! We discussed the job, I sent him some images of the issue and he was able to assess the problem and quoted an excellent price. He worked with my schedule, arrived on time and was done very quickly. We are very happy with the work and although we don't look forward to any plumbing issues in the future, we know exactly who we will call if they do arise. I can't recommend him enough. read more

Greatest thing I did was having Marshall do work on my shower. After absurd quotes from other companies, Marshall had the best price. Very personable and a great person to have a conversation with. Looking forward to hiring him again in the future! read more

Marshall knows exactly what he is doing and he was so sweet!! I called him earlier this morning explaining my problem. I gave him very little information but he knew exactly what questions to ask me to call out the problem. ROOTS! He came very quickly to our location and was able to explain everything to me very quickly. His prices are extremely reasonable, compared to some of the other places I called. Super glad I was able to find Marshall and now I know exactly who to call the next time we have a problem. Thanks Marshall! read more

I was so very happy with Marshall's service. On time and friendly and professional. I will be using his services when needed. Very happy

I needed 3 bathroom faucets replaced . I contacted two other plumbers from Yelp and added Marshall as a 3rd option. The first two quotes I was not feeling good about. Both of the plumbers were not personable and just were out for the dollar. When I contacted Marshall he was quick to respond. I sent him pictures of my faucets and have was able to give me a rough quote. He came out, took a better look at what was needed and he stayed very close to his original quote. I will use Marshall again ... he is a true gem. When you call Marshall you get Marshall not another person. He was just extraordinary to work with. Thanks Marshall. read more

Prompt, great price, great work in the middle of a heat wave - thank you so much

Our kitchen was completely clogged and water keeps coming back up while nothing drains down at all. Marshall was very specific on the approaches to take and gave advises prior to coming out and responded in timely manner to schedule an appointment. He is super lovely and kind. He efficiently cleaned out our kitchen pipe and gave a great price for his work. would definitely recommend him and would call him for future work. read more

Marshall is a great guy and problem solver. I had a tricky issue with getting our bathroom faucets to tighten up after a poor installation job by a renovation company. It was such a tight space, I still don't know how he was able to complete the job! He knows what he is doing I guess after 43 years of plumbing. I have been a homeowner for over 30 years and have good plumbers and not so good, but Marshall is excellent. I called the "smell good plumbers" to give me an estimate on repairing a hot water heater that wouldn't stay lit. They were extremely couteous and prompt. Their estimate was over $350.00 and I felt that was way too high. So, I called Marshall and he came out and gave me an estimate of about half of the previous estimate. I gave him the go-ahead and he said he'd have to return the following day because he needed to pick up the neccessary parts to effect a repair. He returned as promised the next day and had the repair done in about an hour. He then told us that the parts were less than expected and reduced his price accordingly. WOW! He didn't have to do that! But, he did. I can't say enough positive about the service and respect he extended. He's the man! read more

Marshall came to my girlfriends house to fix a leaky washing machine tap. I had him fix a flap in my toilet as well. He is a super nice guy and knows his business. He's been wrenching on pipes for years and it shows. He offers great servcie and is all good in my book! read more

4/23/2020 Update I'm updating a review I left way back in 2017. I had some problems including getting charged for an on-site estimate. The owner just contacted me (late, but followup is always appreciated) and made a convincing argument that I had left a review here for a plumbing service with a similar name by mistake. The owner says he does not charge for onsite estimates. read more

As a young homeowner, I can say that I am very pleased with Marshall's work. He was very easy to make an appointment with and was prompt with work. I highly recommend him for any plumbing needs and will call him in the future. read more

We had low water volume throughout the house. Marshall is a super sweet man, who was great at explaining his thought process when diagnosing the problem and coming up with a solution. His price was fair and more importantly the problem was fixed! read more

I was looking for an experienced old-timey plumber without a fleet of vans and a high overhead--Marshall filled the bill completely. I got quotes from 3 plumbers and I had confidence in him immediately. He didn't quote the job off the top of his head the first few seconds after arriving, but delved into the details meticulously and stuck by his quote. He likes to chat while he works, which made the time he was here enjoyable. He clearly knows his stuff and I will definitely keep his number on file. It's nice to not have to search for a plumber I can trust. (But I still think it's wise to get several quotes. When it's not an emergency you have that freedom.) read more

My mom has called Marshall for various plumbing projects and issues and he was always reliable, honest, and efficient. She recommended him to me when I had a gas leak at my house. Marshall came the same day I called him and was so attentive to the issue. It ended up being a major project that required a lot of repair. Marshall was awesome through the whole process. We will definitely call him if we have any plumbing issues in the future! read more

Marshall, was very pleasant and communicated quickly. However, the first appointment I made with him he canceled due to a emergency. Understandable, emergencies happen. I rescheduled with him and moved around my schedule to be at home and after 30 min past the appointment I reached out to him. He replied quickly and stated he was working another project. Not to reliable for me and will not be rescheduling with him a second time. read more

I had a couple of kids show up from this place one day to snake a yard drain. The first snag they hit they said "Oh, we can't get through that." Then they tried it from the other side, and still couldn't get through the blockage. They gave up, told me that it would be $1500 to jack hammer my yard and repair the broken pipe. Then then handed me a $120 bill and then said that they weren't making very much money after maybe 15 minutes of work. So, I thought they were right, and a few years later my other drain goes out. So this time I called an old pro and told him what happened with Marshall. This guy shows up and spends about two hours but cuts through both lines and now both drains work perfect. Hey, I'm just giving you real world experience here. The only thing worse than their incompetence was their attitude. I put Marshall on the short list of never call again. Maybe I got a couple of young kids they fired the next day but the fact is that they didn't fix what they charged for and advised me of a repair that didn't need to be made. read more

I truly enjoyed my experience with Marshall Plumbing. I requested a quote and within minutes he responded and came to fix my toilet that same day! Knew exactly what the issue was and took care of my plumbing problems in a professional and timely manner. I'll definitely be reaching to out to Marshall for any future plumbing needs. read more

My experience with Marshal was... mind numbing. I felt like everything was an excuse for something completely unrelated to me or my plumbing job. Marshal mentioned at least twice about how he just had to pay the registration for his work truck. Then he complained about paying for his state plumbing contractor's license. Then he complained that he has to pay for insurance/bond. He then complained about the work a previous plumber had done at my house, even though it just cleared the permits with the city inspector. Then he complained that city inspectors are a jack of all trades, but a master of none and that they don't really know any one trade at all. Wow. I just want my plumbing job to be taken care of and not have to worry about Marshal's problems. It's not like the government decided that Marshal was the only business person, contractor, working individual who has to pay for this stuff. I'm not sure if Marshal and I just didn't click or maybe he had an off day. But I felt myself dozing off when Marshal would complain about every little detail of adult life, and then to say that every minute obstacle in the plumbing job was a problem that had to dissected... well, I felt like he was getting me primed for the big $$ estimate. Needless to say, we didn't mesh and I won't be using Marshal. I'm sure he's a qualified plumber and he is very polite. But, golly, can we just get down to business? As a consumer, I just really want to know a) how much is this going to cost? b) how long will it take to complete? c) how are you going to accomplish the goal? d) what is your warranty? As Marshal was leaving, another plumber was coming to give me an estimate. Marshal had asked me earlier if I was going to get other bids. Did it matter? Wasn't Marshal going to give me his best price? Is there a different price if I don't get other bids? In any case, Marshal said he'd give me a bid in two to three days. It's been about a month and I never received that estimate. read more

Marshall is a wonderful plumber! Did not use him for a previous job, but remembered his demeanor and called him for something else. He did great work and had a very reasonable price. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

Marshall was everything I wanted in a plumber. Water heater went out, he was prompt, polite, and explained to me, in detail, what issues I was having. I do not mind playing more to have something done right but it needs to be explained and make sense, he was most certainly did that. Highly recommend ! read more

I had a leak coming from my master bath and like I normally do I yelp for that specific service in my area. Make a long story short Marshall plumbing comes up and say to myself why not, I call he says he'll give a free estimate and he'll be by in the morning. He shows up early as I asked and gets to work. He cut a few small holes in the ceiling around the leak and finds the problem. He shows me a cracked "Y" drain pipe that needed to be replaced and that was where the leak was coming from. Mind you that whole time Marshall was thoroughly explaining everything he was doing, he quoted me what I thought was a fair price and fixed my leak. Marshall is very honest and an all around great guy and that's hard combination to find in a person making service calls to your home. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

Great guy. Customer service was fantastic. As a stay at home mother his free estimate helped me out. Very knowledgable and doesn't make you feel stupid. Can't wait to tell the hubby we found a plumber. Thanks Marshall. read more

Marshall is an old school gentleman and a terrific plumber. Thorough, efficient, polite to an extreme. He did a variety of plumbing related jobs for us: changed the water pressure regulator, changed a leaking sprinkler valve and moved its location, hooked up the washing machine and gas dryer, tightened loose fixtures, provided sage advice on why not to flush the old water heater, and even helped me carry some non-plumbing loads in from the car, as well as lending a tool to the gardener. Marshall works alone, so he doesn't always answer the phone right away. He will get back to you, and he will be there when he said he would, or call to let you know his status. read more

Marshall plumbing offers great service. Very friendly and explains everything. Def would recommend.

Marshall is awesome! Even on a Saturday he called me back within a reasonable time, and was able to come out the same day. He showed up within the time window given, gave me a firm estimate before he started working and explained everything involved. He is experienced, efficient and did an excellent job cleaning up after he was done. He even found a smaller related issue and fixed it also for the original amount quoted. This guy is honest and friendly. Definitely recommend Marshall read more
