The nurses in preop (thank you, Tanya) were gracious and thoughtful. The surgical nurse, Beth, was funny and kind, which helped put me at ease as he went back to surgery. Afterward, the nurses who supervised his recovery were gentle and helpful. Overnight, the RN Carrie and the aide, Claudia were attentive, thoughtful and patient. Our day nurse, Bryan was funny and very helpful (be sure to check out his shoes!) Overall, this was the best hospital experience I've had. It was clear that the staff (and doctors: hats off to Dr. Molitar, who came out following surgery to ease my concerns and let me know how the surgery went. He had been in surgery all day, although it was late, he took time to come out to update me personally,) anyway, it is abundantly Care that Marshall Hospital cares. From what I understand, they've come a long way.

The crowd of expressionless faces was definitely not appropriate in that situation. Also the ambulance said we should have called them sooner in a very stern tone to my frantic mother, As my father was dying. I appreciate the doctors and what they do for people, i mean no hate. But that was my experience and opinion.

It is an honor to offer a review of Marshall Wound Clinic in Placerville.  Several weeks ago our…read moredogs, a Great Dane and a St. Bernard got into a fight while sitting with my wife and I on our couch.  By the time we stopped and moved them away, we noticed a long deep gash on my leg.  I first explained it as a gladiator wound, then a wound from Jurassic Park.  When it appeared to be slow in healing we became very concerned about infection. We were referred to the Wound Clinic where we met Dr. Gwinnop and his nurse assistant. They are professional, courteous,  calm, and most important compassionate.  I cannot sufficiently express in words the level of confidence and most importantly the complete eradication of our anxiety.  They are remarkable and I  recommend them as truly exceptional.  My wound will take time to close and heal, but having Dr. Gwinnop is literally as important as any treatment. My wife Lori and I publicly extend our gratitude and faith to Marshall Wound Clinic.

Nayeda wasn't even my nurse but I flagged her down from my bed in the hallway because I had been siting there for hours with no one checking on me (I had a male nurse with a reddish scrub cap on). Thank God Nayeda stoped and started helping me because it turns out I would end up needing two blood transfusion. My male nurse just dismissed my symptoms but Nayeda took them seriously. She was comforting and add some much needed humor, she was a God sent. Chelsea was truly amazing and made me feel at ease when I was scared. She was born to be in this industry. The only negative is I wish the doctors would have been more attentive. I was in the ER about 16 hours and I think I only saw my doctor the last 30 minutes I was there.
