Regular

If there was an award for the best restaurant to remove all taste, salt, and flavor from pizza- this is it. It was literally the worst pizza in my entire life. We got a small regular pie and a large pepperoni but they looked the same size. The price for both was $40. Literally highway robbery. I don't mind paying the price if it was good pizza but we ended up having 2 slices and threw away the rest. Dominos, Pizza Hut, papa John's, and school pizza is better than this place. I've never been so upset about bland pizza my entire life. How do they manage to take out all flavors? Kinda impressive in that way. How do people think this is good pizza? I feel bad...

Sauce is bland. Crust is terrible. Tastes like reheated cafeteria pizza. Skip it.

Absolutely love this place! Grew up with it and so did my grandparents! Definitely order double cheese light on the sauce though!

I love their red sauce and pasta. Their raviolis and meatballs are my son's favorite. My husband loves their pizza.

If you want a more traditional pizza, order it with double or triple cheese, and the cheese will be on top.

Shout-out to Megan who's a server, always consistent and speedy (which is nice when you have little ones). Speaking of kids, they have coloring and dough balls for the kids to stay occupied. Chris is also great behind the bar! Be sure to always ask for the specials, amazing choices that rotate regularly so don't miss out. The meatballs appetizer is crazy delicious, 3 lacrosse ball sized meatballs in a rich marinara with ricotta spooned over the top. Order two pizzas as well and I don't care how hungry you and your partner is, you'll have delicious leftovers that reheat well in a toaster oven or on a stovetop. Speaking of pizza, some of my favorites are the shrimp scampi (although I miss the mixed seafood pizza they had a few years ago), the Philly special, and the chicken bacon ranch pizza is a favorite. The upside down is awesome as well. Honestly never had a bad meal here and this place is slowly becoming my local hangout. They just added steeltip darts upstairs which is another awesome draw. $5 SAMbucca pours, something for everyone!

Food served til 9:30 Good prices on wine but the wine isn't great (to be expected for a spot like this) Sammy Italiano sandwich was ok. It has a nice crusty roll but the roll was so big compared to the meat without any sauce it was bit dry. Had good flavor. Margarita pizza is ok. Very limp and soggy. Sauce is a pretty bitter.

A Taste of Abruzzo in Bryn Mawr ?…read more Exit 13 isn't just a restaurant -- it's a warm, home-style escape straight into the heart of Abruzzo. The moment you walk in, the vibe hits you first: vibrant colors, rustic touches, and an ambiance that feels like stepping into someone's family dining room back in Italy. It's authentic, comforting, and alive with culture. The food? Unreal. Their **homemade bread** sets the tone -- rustic, fresh, and full of that old-world character. The **pizza** is on another level with dough that's so good it almost steals the show. Every pasta dish carries that handcrafted feel, the kind that tells you the recipe didn't come from a cookbook -- it came from memory. Appetizers are just as impressive, but the **grilled octopus** stands out as a true star. Perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and proof that Exit 13 puts heart into every dish. This is the kind of spot where the atmosphere and the food work together -- where the vibe feels like home and the flavors taste like heritage. Exit 13 doesn't just serve Italian cuisine. It brings Abruzzo to life. **A must-visit for anyone who loves real, soulful, authentic food.**

I was interested to try a new place on the Main Line and was drawn in by the 4.6 star reviews on…read moreYelp. Unfortunately, I do not think Exit 13 deserves such a high rating. The service was very good: attentive and friendly. The ambiance is similar to Not Your Average Joe's in Ardmore with the upstairs/balcony seating and downstairs and big screen TV showing sports, but much noisier, especially as the upstairs also was filled with guests. By the time we left at 7:45pm after a 6:45pm reservation, it was loud enough that we had to fairly shout at each other to continue our conversation. The food was okay, except the salad which was excellent, but not worth returning for just the salad. - beet salad - 4.5/5, plentiful small diced red and yellow beets, avocado, arugula, a light dressing and burrato with crushed pistachios. a very solid starter salad and the server kindly split a large order into two small plates for us to share - fried calamari - 3/5, having just eaten at Estia last night which has a very good fried calamari, this one was not breaded as consistently and some of the pieces were a tad on the large side for a reasonable bite and too chewy to be cut with the fork or knife. - penne puttanesca - 3/5, my husband ordered this and while he not a self-proclaimed foodie, for him to say it was just okay means it was really just okay - linguine vongole - 3/5, points for the very plentiful offering of clams, i counted probably 20 generously sized clams (sometimes you get miniscule clams with this dish), but overall the sauce was too salty and there's not much you can do to fix that, and the linguine was a bit overcooked, definitely not even close to al dente We skipped dessert as by that point our ears were starting to ring with the high decibels coming from around us on the balcony and the floor below. It looked like a lot of people were having a good time so maybe it's just not for us.
