I am local and grab lunch out daily. Will be sticking to my preferred joints. Lost $12 today. Ordered gluten and dairy free pizza and it was GOOD! Not many places can make dairy free pizza taste comparable to pizza. My partner ordered the roasted mushroom and thought it was delicious. Went to this pizza spot with the family after a light show nearby and i'm not sure if I will come back. It's a pizza spot-- so there wasn't much to the menu, except this spot had a few out of the ordinary flavors and combinations. Out of fear I wouldn't like any of the crazy pizza options, I ordered a regular BBQ pizza and the food was average. It didn't taste horrible, but I felt like it was missing all the things a good bbq pizza should have, which is a rich bbq sauce going against a good cheese and chicken combo. Well in the one I ate from this location, you could barely taste the bbq sauce, and the chicken was pretty dry too. First time at a Jules but I hope it's not the last. This is thin-crust pizza made with a style of flat bread. The ingredients all seem quite fresh. From both points of view, it's closer in spirit to the pizza served in Italy than what's available at most US pizza chains. There's a large variety of pre-cooked pizzas which you can order by the slice (they are generously sized) or you can order your own in one of three sizes (mini, medium, and large). There's even a gluten-free crust options for mini and medium. We were 4 adults and 2 kids so got to sample lots of choices. Standouts were the basic veggie (feta cheese, kalamata olives, red onions, organic tomatoes, romaine), bacon (carbonara sauce, roasted potatoes!, mozzarella), and pesto (goat cheese, mozzarella, onions, basil, roasted tomatoes). Came at 4:46pm on a Sunday. Legitimately had 6 slices total to select from. When I asked if that was all they had I was told yes. As I was rung up for 3 of the slices the man who I can only presume was the manager said " I should put an order for more pizzas!" Mind you this is AFTER I was being rung up and he was in full earshot of my entire conversation with the person working. No offer to ask me if I wanted to wait for more pizzas. Nothing. Definitely not coming here ever again. I will continue to go to the Montgomeryville location where the customer service is way better. Avoid this location at all cost if you can afford to. read more

There are multiple locations- Wayne, Doylestown and Ardmore. We were in Ardmore with no plans for dinner so we stopped in. It's located in a strip mall with a parking lot. There are many pizza options on display. Once selected, they warm up the pizza in an oven and bring it to the table. They have canned sodas and drinks. The food is quick to the table. The crust is thin as the name indicates with a satisfying crunch. It can't stand up to some of the heavier meat toppings as well. There are gluten free and veggie options. Jules Pizza is just great and part of the awesome Ardmore community. At Jules they have plenty of pre-made, thin-crust pizzas. They have meat-lovers, their famous Brooklyn style, spicy buffalo chicken and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The pizzas are made daily so the staff has to cut them. However, if you are the first to order from a pie you are given a small end piece. They used to give out the end piece for free, but they changed that. The crust here is very thin, crunchy and very flavorful. The toppings add a nice taste as well. For example, the heart warmer has delicious mozzarella cheese, peppers, tomatoes and a delicious sauce. Their Brooklyn pizza is a traditional pizza, but their sauce is put into diamonds. It just adds more flavor compared to a traditional pie. However, I wish the staff wore gloves when cutting the pizza. Their pizza is served on a flat board. They also have a nice variety of drinks including teas, sodas, juice and milks. They also have complimentary water. Finally, they have a variety of gluten free deserts. Like cupcakes in a jar, coconut cookies and giant chocolate chip cookies. They frequently have promotions. As others have mentioned, this place is known for its thin crust, flat bread type pizza with fresh ingredients! I happened to be in the area today so I stopped in. I got a Brooklyn style plain and a Veggie #13 (Caramelized onions, basil, cheese, tomatoes) for $6.50 for both. And like its other location in Jenkintown, they have self-serve cold water available in the dining area which I love! Jules is a really unique spot! Not just the pizza -- you can tell it's a family-owned business. They come up with topping combinations out of your wildest dreams! My favorite pizza BP (before pescetarianism) was Kim's pie. It's not the greasy pizza you crave after a night out, rather it is a beautiful delicate slice of thin pie with meat, mushrooms, and fine cheese that should be savored. I'm glad I was able to dip my toes in the veggie pizzas -- I can't imagine not discovering the V11. The V11 has kale, mandarin oranges, apples, lemon juice, and cheese. It is AMAZING. It leaves you feeling satisfied and not gross and bloated. I also tried the V9 -- a Mexican-style pizza. I didn't think the flavors really fit together and it was almost overly-tangy, but still an interesting concept that I'd give a solid 8/10. I read the reviews, and because the crust was organic it was worth a visit. I was craving a mushroom pizza and I wanted to change it up a bit from what was on the menu. So I ordered a mushroom pizza took away the sauce and the arugula, added potatoes caramelized onions and poblano peppers. Sounds great right? I also ordered a small Brooklyn pizza because you have to try the red pizza to know if a place is any good. Well the red pizza was pretty darn good comparably. The sauce wasn't my favorite ever, but overall it was pretty tasty, and again, organic! My mushroom pizza was a total disaster. I'm fact, it wasn't a mushroom pizza at all. It was a potato pizza. Hard to find the mushrooms anywhere on it. There was more potato than mushrooms, more potato than cheese, and even more potato than crust! Either The chef was in love with potatoes, or they were trying to get rid of the rest of the potatoes for the night. And there was so much pepper on them I had a potato pepper pizza. Sounds terrible? Yep, you are right. So that was a disaster even though it had the potential to be something fantastic. After a couple of years and several complaints to staff, Jules still refuses to offer a decent selection of pies during dinner time. At our last visit a week ago we came at 6:30 and there were parts of five pies out. We asked if they were more coming out and they said no but they'd make one for us. We said it is 6:30 so why aren't they making more. And you know what they said?? "The weather. It's raining." They sheepishly admitted they thought no one would come out in the rain so they didn't want to make pies DESPITE several customers already in the restaurant and more coming in. The only reason I come is because it's cheap and fast. But their business model of not offering a good selection during peak meal hours is absurd. Had a couple great flatbreads (more of a flatbread than a pizza) there. So on a craving the wife and i decided to try the more local to us Ardmore location. Not the same experience. Inside here it's more of a cafeteria vibe than the hipper vibe in the other location we visited. Staff was very nice and courteous. Order was ready very fast. But...Apparently too fast. Got home and opened up my meat # 5 to find one completely undercooked pie. Not a touch of color from cooking on the entire pie. Just a stark white crust top and bottom, with the bottom slightly doughey. Mozzarella was just hardly melted. It also was lacking the garlic and crushed chili that it purported to contain. Easily remedied by cranking up the oven and then broiler and cooking it for an additional 10 minutes, but a pizza joint ought to know that their oven is too cold or it's pizza is cooked too short. It's their profession. After cooking it the rest of the way it was pretty good, I'll admit, but that step is a step that kind of defeats the purpose of ordering take out pizza! Two star experience that would have been four star if they just cooked the pizza all the way. Get a thermometer in that oven guys, and take note that a pizza or flatbread should have golden to browhighlights in the crust and cheese which highlight the flavor and elevate the saltiness and taste. If it's stark white it's not right. Don't know if I'll come back but if i do there will definitely be special instructions given with the order. read more

There are way more vegetarian choices than one's that include meat. Slices run about $3 each and they will serve them to you on a flatboard. I opted for the "flight" (about $6.50)which is 4 half-slices of my choosing. Essentially a way to sample more types of pizza. All of the kinds I tried were pretty good. I will note that by the last 2 slices, the pizza was already cold. I guess from being soooo thin. The staff is friendly and is super helpful, guiding you through your pizza selection process. A very different but good pizza. The name says it all thin crust, but a crust that stands up to the volume of toppings that are place on top of each pizza. The crust may be a little different from the crust most people are used to, more like a crispy flat bread. The ingredients are all fresh and locally sourced. The cheese is also from local sources. They have a great selection of gluten free desserts, that actually taste very good, try the cupcake in a jar, which is two very moist cupcakes stuffed into a small mason jar. The people working in the Ardmore store were very nice, we arrived late and they did not rush us out even though they were closing, when I asked if we should move to the outside tables, they insisted we say in and finish. This is good flatbread pizza, but they are only getting 3 stars for the price\portions and lack of delivery. I am sure they do not deliver because their thin crust pies cool off very quickly...that, and they would probably need to spend a fortune on custom made rectangular pizza box insulated carriers for the drivers. We got ours to go with a Cesar salad. Both were quite tasty! The pizza did cool off quick tho and wasn't really HOT on the first slice...by time I got to my second slice it was quite noticeable. The box even has reheating instructions as they know this is an issue with "to go" orders. They did do a lovely pattern of sauce on the cheese, which made it look quite delicious, but at 17$ for a large cheese pie, I just don't see it as a good value. Clutch pizza in a pinch! I love all of the different combos you can get there. Really it can be a bit overwhelming there are so many delicious ideas. The great thing is though, is that the thin crust situation allows you to get multiple slices without getting too full so you can try a bunch of them.
