This place is still the best pizza spot in Havertown. Not a huge fan of their AI phone system, but their online ordering system works just fine and you can leave requests for each item there. If you've only had their Detroit style pizza, you need to try their Neapolitan pizzas, which are less rich but just as delicious. I recently served Crust Neapolitan pizzas at a party and multiple people came up to me and asked where it was from, and were surprised because they thought Crust only did Detroit style. Nope! I started out only getting their Detroit style but now I'm hooked on their round pies. My favorite is the garden ricotta with sausage added. Absolute perfection. But honestly, you can't go wrong with most of their pies. Except maybe the dill pickle one--we tried that once and it was pretty one-dimensional in flavor. But everything else we've tried has been awesome. The folks who work there are friendly and professional. The space is pretty small, so really it's takeout only. read more

Been to Crust many times since my last review and am such a big fan of their Detroit style pizza it's pretty much all we order. I changed that up tonight and got their buffalo chicken sandwich, the crust salad. The sandwich was very good, a well fried piece of chicken on a brioche bun with buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing. The roll is big and I thought it overwhelmed the chicken but it actually worked out nice absorbing sauce and dressing without falling apart. The salad is premade and they are in containers in their fridge ready to go. It was fresh, including the fruit. Walnuts and dressing in containers on the side. The berry vinaigrette is delicious! Parking is easy in the lot next door. I ordered on the app and it was ready right on time, they were bagging it up as I walked in the door. No seating, everything is to go. They have a small storefront dominated by empty pizza boxes. Nice decor and clean as well. I'm anxious to try their calzone and wings next, so happy I went outside of my pizza comfort zone! read more

I haven't been here in a minute. I have been going to another Detroit Pizza spot for a while. Try them to date with my family. It was outstanding. One of the things about thicker crust pizzas like Detroit style or Chicago style or stuffed crust is sometimes in the middle of the pie isn't done. However, this was cooked all the way through and the crispy edges of the crust was amazing and I don't eat pizza crust. The Korean wings were unreal. My kids love the mozzarella half moons read more

Absolutely, the best cheesesteak with fried onions I have ever had in my life! The roll was soft and melted into the steak and onions. The American cheese was gooey--exactly how it should be. There is no better cheesesteak anywhere on the planet! read more

Decided to try this spot out for lunch as I was in the area. Place was clean friendly and the Pizza is really good. Different Cheesesteak #1190. I got my usual Cheesesteak with fried onions and mushrooms. I had very high hopes for this cheesesteak. Not knowing how diligent Havertown Parking Authority is, I paid to park in the municipal lot next door. The young woman running the counter was very helpful. We learned about Brick Cheese together. The cheesesteak did not live up to my high hopes. Roll was standard. Everything else was good. read more

Food is great, service is pretty terrible. My latest order was two small pizzas and 10 wings ($60 all in). After an hour, the food was delivered ice cold and missing 3 wings. 1 sad carrot and 2 pieces of celery accompanied the sad wing delivery. After trying to call multiple times I had to drive to the store for a refund because there is no one to answer the phone. read more

Not bad , but I do plan on trying a few more off of their menu. The Detroit Burrata was ok, that pesto was a little stronger than expected, but it was still a solid choice. Their cheesesteak is a on the bland side, not to much flavor going on there. It's bad when I have to bring it home and add some more cheese to it, not to mention ketchup. The only time you should add ketchup to a cheesesteak is when it's pretty close to flavorless and dry. Maybe the guy working that grill had an off night? I know that's my opinion, but I've eaten a few cheesesteaks here and there. Sorry guys I hate saying that, but stick to pizza. read more

Wow this is a heavy pizza. Literally. Lifting the box is like a mini workout. It's also heavy in your stomach, consider yourself warned. It's very pricy ($35 for a pie, say what?) but I ended up getting three meals out of it due to the size alone. We got the south Philly pizza and it was pretty good, all the ingredients went together well and the crust was nice and crispy on the edges. Due to the price I can't say I will be back anytime soon but I did like what I got. read more

Hands down the best Detroit style pizza I have ever had. I ordered the Acapulco and my husband had the veggie, and both were out of this world good. Perfectly crisp edges, insanely fluffy interior, and toppings that felt thoughtful and balanced rather than piled on. Also, the portions were very reasonable for the cost. Especially considering that each small pizza weighed like 7 pounds. We both only made it through about a slice and a half because of how dense it is but we are stoked we will have leftovers for the next few days. I honestly think this pizza may have permanently changed my preferences (previously mostly a Chicago-style pizza fan). I will be thinking about it for a long time and coming back soon! read more

Ordered for second time and both times wrong order. Automated system repeated back order. Got home and it was incorrect again. Guess you have to check every box before you leave read more

It's good but super SALTY! I love the cheese but I'm following with tons of water. One pie is a great size for 4.

Was in the area for an event at the Kelly Center so my family stopped by Crust to indulge in some slices before the show. Unfortunately this place doesn't do by the slice so we had to order a whole pie which was cool but hella expensive. A cheese pizza w/o toppings was 15.00!! I had just gotten a cheeseburger pizza from the Taco Bell/ Pizza Hut from the late night drive thru for 5.00 that would rival anything on Crust's menu. I'm any event we settled on the Buffalo Chicken Ranch pizza. It costs 20.00 and we got about 7 generous slices out of it. I definitely appreciated the crust and the savory-ness of this pizza but again over priced in my opinion. read more

Excellent pizza. Lots of different styles including Detroit style pizza, which has a thick crust. The downside is there is nowhere to sit. You have to take your pizza and go so far. I really haven't had to wait much. They are now our go to pizza place. read more

Majority of bad reviews on here are related to this place selling out pizzas and not being available. Was able to order at 4pm on a Friday during Lent. This place was take out only and cranking out pizzas at a massive clip. Got half big d hot honey half plain Detroit style. Detroit style is one of the best ways to go here! Seems like everyone also gets a side of sauce as well which I did for $2 as well as a side of Mikes hot honey which was also $2. All in for the pie with the toppings and two sides of sauce after tax was close to $30 which was a bit expensive which is why this won't get a full 5 stars. The sweet sauce is borderline addictive. Right up there with pizza jawn's grandma pie as best pies in the Philly area. Definitely worth checking out. read more

New spot In Havertown. Doing only takeout only for now. If you are a fan of Detroit Style Pizza, you will love this place. My "Detroit 1946" was perfect. It was a pizza cooked in a traditional steel tray. It was crisp around the edges with just the right amount of char. It was topped with Wisconsin Brick cheese which tasted excellent. The tomato sauce was on the sweet side but went well with the cheese. It is placed on the top of the cheese. They have a number of toppings and styles of pizza. They have been selling out each day so put your order in early. read more

We love this place! This is the only pizza place in town that has Detroit style pizza! Their ingredients are A+ quality and fresh. Their food always tastes great! They even have different specials for different days of the week. Tuesday 's they have $ 10 pizza and Wednesday is $1 wings! We had the barbecue ones last week and they were out of this world! We can't wait to eat them again! We love Crust! This place is a real gem! By the way, they own the Havertown Grille, right next door! How awesome is the Grille! Crust is amazing. Make sure to order directly from them or on their website because they charge like $10 more on other apps. Their best pizza is the honey hot but I always look forward to anything I get from there. It's incredibly filling--a large pizza is 8 slices and I eat 2, maybe 3 before I'm stuffed--and the flavor combos are great. read more

Good thick crust pizza, no frills place and no place to sit down. A little pricey for the size of the pizza, BUT definitely one of the better pizza places for a thick crust pizza. Not sure if it's a good or bad thing, but the pizza is very very heavy. Estimating you would eat half at Crust of what you would eat other places. Ie: if you normally eat 2 pieces of pizza, you might be content with 1 piece at crust. read more

I got a veggie pie to go. Detroit Style isn't my go-to, but this one could make me a convert. The toppings were ample and tasty and the pie was ready when they said it would be. The only possible negative was that it was very oily. Probably because of the cheesy crust. Get extra napkins. Tip: Kelly Music Center allows you bring in food! read more

We love their cheese Detroit pizza. Their pepperoni with hot honey and their Korean pizza with gochujang sauce are all pretty good. I don't love their wings but I think I am spoiled by all the great wing places around us. I am always surprised they are not busier every time I pick up a pizza! I received a Yelp email with suggestions for nearby restaurants. Crust was one of the restaurants. The pictures made my mouth water. We tried it for dinner tonight. They only do takeout and seem to prefer online ordering which was very easy to do. There's a small township parking lot with a kiosk to pay by spot. Since I was just running in to pickup, I risked not paying for parking. It's a small shop that doesn't have space for tables anyway. They do have plexiglass separating the customers from the employees at the counter. We live about 13 minutes away and the pizza was still hot when I got home. I ordered one Detroit 1946 for $19 and one order of French fries for $5. The pizza is rectangular and cut in 8 slices. I really liked the pizza and the broiled cheese on the edges. I kept myself to 2 slices and look forward to eating the leftovers tomorrow. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised by this place! Detroit style pizza is getting super popular now, but have only really seen it available in the city (Philadelphia). Crust does it realllllly well. The dough is flavorful and fluffy and has an amazing crisp with cheesy edges. They don't hold back on the cheese and their sauce is delicious. Keep in mind that this is some HEAVY pizza though. The crust is pretty dense compared to some other versions that are a little more airy and bubbly, but still so good! They also have a pretty nice menu outside of pizza. There is a decent selection of sides (fries, tots, etc.), salads, and sandwiches if you're not in a pizza mood. This type of pizza is definitely a specific craving and we will definitely order Crust again when that craving hits. read more

Hey Crust Owners, what the heck!?!? Totally below what I had come to expect from this place. Crust had previously set the standard for me on pizza and cheesesteaks, I was a huge fan until today. The Caesar salad was prepackaged and below Wawa's quality... lettuce was yellow center chunk romaine, no good green leaves. The chicken cheesesteak was LITERALLY GROCERY STORE SHREDDED ROTISSERIE CHICKEN, not grilled, barely warm, the cooper cheese wasn't even melted!!! Lastly, the pizza itself was fine as expected, except this time I tried prosciutto and they just laid a slab on the center of each slice AFTER cooking the pizza - it wasn't crispy at all, just limp and greasy, not even chopped up a bit... while I can deal with that, it seemed lazy. *Please know that I tried leaving you a review on your direct website but there is no email address. I felt you needed to know this review. Do better!!! (Us Delconians have a refined pizza/cheesesteak pallate and can spot grocery store rotisserie chicken). Please reach out if you wish to discuss. read more

Amazing! Got the Detroit South Philly and Korean BBQ wings, possibly best pizza and wings I ever had! Tried the Detroit style pizza here after seeing rave reviews on the Delco Restaurant Reviews facebook page and it did not disappoint. We got the Acapulco and Burrata pizzas and both were amazing. The Acapulco has a nice balance of flavors and textures with chorizo, caramelized onions and jalapeños. The burrata was cheesy and topped with flavorful pesto and just the right amount of creamy burrata. We also got korean bbq wings, which were SO good - cooked well with sticky slightly sweet and tangy sauce. The pizza is very heavy and filling as others have said, so beware when picking what/how much to order. Service was great. I did a pick up order and it was ready at exactly the time I selected. The folks at the counter were pleasant as well. read more

Tried the pepperoni topped pie. Like other reviewers, I found this pizza to be very tasty. Exceedingly thick and dense crust, like deep dish on roids, with cheddar cheese melted and cooked crusty on the edges. The pepperoni is cupped cooked and there is A LOT of pepperoni. To me this is a now and again style of pie, quite delicious, but be prepared to be full with the combo of thick crust, ample cheese, and a bit greasy. DIG IN. read more

Ok, Crust. You did it. You blasted my tastebuds with flavors that went perfectly together. It was my first time trying this place as they just recently opened. This pizza was legit and on point. It isn't your average kind of pizza. It's way different. It doesn't look huge, but this sucker weighed almost 4 pounds. I could only handle a few slices. I went with the Detroit H-Town Hot Honey. It has cup-n-curl pepperoni, jalapeños, brick cheese, sauce, and spicy hot honey. It was delicious I hear this place usually has a long wait. I ordered around 5:15 and it was ready in less than an hour. You gotta try this place. That is all. #crusthavertown #detroitstylepizza #delco www.crusthavertown.com read more
