They carry Aloha Collection bags, which are water resistant and super packable-- with happy colors and designs. The clothing is modern and trendy, but not over the top fast fashion. They have a variety of women's clothing, shoes, accessories, and bags. The quality looks great on the pieces and it's easy to shop. There are a lot of staple items as well. The owner was at the shop when I stopped in and she is super nice, and she shared that they will update items seasonally. Right now, they have a good mix of warm and cold weather items such as sweaters, vests, and a variety of jackets. I picked up a very cute vest that is cotton/canvas on the outside and faux fur on the inside with a removable hood. Very reasonably priced! Excited to stop in and check it out again the next time I pick up grocery. I might do a Safeway pickup and spend my shopping time at Ruby Shade instead of at Safeway!

It's filled with all the normal departments - women's, men's and children's clothing; home decor; beauty supplies; handbags; gift bags, wrapping and stationary; bedding and bath; small furniture; pet supplies; cleaning products; kitchen and pantry items; home decor; and seasonal. A little bit of everything! Appears that they are still stocking up because while I was there, workers were busy unloading items onto shelves, rearranging sections, and putting clothing out. My only negative comment is the lack of room between the clothing aisles. The small shopping cart could barely fit through the narrow space; it literally was hitting all the clothes on both sides as I walked through the aisles. Since it's almost fall, I couldn't resist purchasing a cream & tan plaid, duster cardigan for $34.99. I tried to do a catch and release, but was unsuccessfull! Especially after I found a pair of chocolate brown, loose pants, the color of the season, and on clearance for just $11. Together, it's a great fall outfit for $46. In the juniors department, I found a pair of high waisted, loose denim jeans with the shredded rips in all the right places. Not typically my style, at my age, but the price was great and they looked really good with a fall sweater. Tip for women - don't be afraid to browse in the Juniors department; often they have on-trend pieces for lower prices than the Women's area. There is plenty of parking right out front, including two handicapped spots. Next door is Ross, but I feel Marshall's has better quality clothes, and overall, a much better shopping experience.

Not a great experience due to a pricing issue. The under garment was marked down to $4.87 with a…read moreblack pen, however, it rang up as regular price. Then the guy said that markdowns are not marked off by pen. Then I told him that there were 2 of the same things marked the same way. I went to the shelf and showed him the other 2 items with the same pricing. He consulted with his coworker and decided to call the store manager. The manager said no and it would still need to be at regular price. I've never had this happen. Usually when there is a price difference and you find others with the same price, they honor the marked price. It was an unpleasant experience and probably need to revamp their policies to honor prices that are marked, especially if there are others with the same markdown price!

Feom the moment I walked in, I realized the quality of the clothes, even though I had expectations of a discount store, would not be anything I would wear. Clothes were crammed in the racks, many of the dresses dragging on the floor. I scanned a few rows but there was absolutely nothing even worth trying on. Roamed around the entire store. Each department was small, the shelves unorganized, and few items. One and done for me.

I was extremely disappointed the other day to find that one of the books they are selling is from a little free library in the neighborhood with a stamp that said not for resale and a sticker with the little free libraries name and another reminder that it is not for resale. Little free libraries are a resource for people to share books and not an opportunity for thrift stores to make money from reselling these books. I pointed this out to the lady working there and she told me there was nothing she could do an didn't seem to care. For a curated thrift store that was a huge disappointment.
