Daya recognizes me when I come in, whether with my kid or not and is a friendly face that makes me feel genuinely happy to come back and shop. Daya is always dressed to impress! And that why when I'm trying clothes on and I'm unsure, I always come out to ask about fit and style and if I should purchase what I'm trying on or not. They are always honest (which I really appreciate) and I legit can't wait to come back to shop. In store shopping is way more fun for me than online. I've purchased pieces that will definitely be in my closet for the long haul without breaking the bank! Because either I've sold things that's no longer fit me or because it's much cheaper (or both!) When selling, they don't buy everything, but communication and asking questions always helps so I know what to bring in next time. I'd consider myself a regular... but I'm sure there are people that go there way more often than me!!

This place was packed with bins, and the workers added new bins every so often. I went around 10am, but the store was already fairly busy, and people definitely crowded the new bins as they came out. If you're visiting the bins for the first time, I would recommend going in with a plan. What type of items do you want? Will you stick with your friends or branch out? Are you going to race to the new bins, or wait for the rush of people to die down and then pick through? I have heard some gross stories about people finding used underwear or other sketchy items in the bins, but I did not experience this. Most of the items were super clean. Some were a little broken (for example, a broken appliance), but nothing absolute trash-worthy was in there. Rating 3 stars because most of the clothing was for children or grandmas, and I wished there had been more cute adult clothing.

It's filled with all the normal departments - women's, men's and children's clothing; home decor; beauty supplies; handbags; gift bags, wrapping and stationary; bedding and bath; small furniture; pet supplies; cleaning products; kitchen and pantry items; home decor; and seasonal. A little bit of everything! Appears that they are still stocking up because while I was there, workers were busy unloading items onto shelves, rearranging sections, and putting clothing out. My only negative comment is the lack of room between the clothing aisles. The small shopping cart could barely fit through the narrow space; it literally was hitting all the clothes on both sides as I walked through the aisles. Since it's almost fall, I couldn't resist purchasing a cream & tan plaid, duster cardigan for $34.99. I tried to do a catch and release, but was unsuccessfull! Especially after I found a pair of chocolate brown, loose pants, the color of the season, and on clearance for just $11. Together, it's a great fall outfit for $46. In the juniors department, I found a pair of high waisted, loose denim jeans with the shredded rips in all the right places. Not typically my style, at my age, but the price was great and they looked really good with a fall sweater. Tip for women - don't be afraid to browse in the Juniors department; often they have on-trend pieces for lower prices than the Women's area. There is plenty of parking right out front, including two handicapped spots. Next door is Ross, but I feel Marshall's has better quality clothes, and overall, a much better shopping experience.

This Zumiez had some great things. I love that their sales racks are actually organized. The women's rack is separate from the men's completely, which helps with any confusion. They have a variety of women's clothing, shoes, accessories, and bags. The quality looks great on the pieces and it's easy to shop. There are a lot of staple items as well. The owner was at the shop when I stopped in and she is super nice, and she shared that they will update items seasonally. Right now, they have a good mix of warm and cold weather items such as sweaters, vests, and a variety of jackets. I picked up a very cute vest that is cotton/canvas on the outside and faux fur on the inside with a removable hood. Very reasonably priced! Excited to stop in and check it out again the next time I pick up grocery. I might do a Safeway pickup and spend my shopping time at Ruby Shade instead of at Safeway!
