We requested assistance using their "need assistance?" kiosk multiple times and searched for a team member to ask them to call someone to assist twice. After 30 minutes and no help, we left and headed to Best Buy. That transaction was completed in 10 minutes. They need to hire some help. I won't be back at this location. read more

This is our local Target. They've been under construction for quite a while. Many of the issues are excusable for the time being. What is not is constantly being out of bags. Took over 15 min to unlock baby formula. If you're going to lock it up someone needs to be ready to unlock it. Then when worker came they were walking as slow as possible and unlocking it as slow as possible. Had to put back all my frozen items because they defrosted by then. I've never liked this location, but the recent changes have made me dislike it even more. The new layout makes zero sense and I hate it so much. Why change it? They had a wine sampling! Just 2 wines but you don't see it often. This store otherwise has a solid selection of items, I can usually find an item here if it's out of stock in other Targets nearby. Lines can be super long at times so more cashiers would be good. No more self checkout. read more

First of all, the Starbucks in this Target was closed... big disappointment. However, meeting one of the young floor associates who had helped us made up for the disappointment. Most of the food shelves were stocked well, but the kitchen and other departments weren't. The reason for the low rating is the cashier. The worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. No smile, only frowned, no greeting or if we found everything on, just that frown. Even after i paid I thanked her and she grunted as she handed me the receipt. This is the most poorly put together target I've ever seen. It looks like a ghost town, half of the racks are empty. Stock is not up kept, the shoes section is littered with dirty shoes laying all over that I can only imagine people abandoned after stealing new ones to put on their feet. September 17, 2022; Empty shelves where towels and ziplock containers should be. Toiletries locked up -- yes, locked in plexiglass prisons -- with nobody answering the buzzer (does it work? Do they know I'm waiting to purchase deodorant, as if I'm trying to buy gold bullion?). Over fifty people in line, but only two checkers working. I go to the self checkout, no bags. Fairview Target has been around for 20 years and I remember it was a very big thing when brought to the neighborhood. The store layout has changed over the years, but generally remained the same. I know since Covid it's changed closing the food court down and making more room for curbside (sorry no more icees or popcorn and pretzels), but nothing too drastic. It's a nicer establishment and I usually come here when I need odd things like hair products and makeup, as well as home decor and storage. They usually have a really good selection with in stocks & decent prices. I haven't had luck in years on their clothes or shoes; I recently bought Valentine Cards. I always get stuck near the front in their dollar area- always such super cute things! There is a Starbucks in here which is a plus, and the restrooms are near the doors too. read more

I went for a basketball for my son...and in the whole entire store they found 2 wnba basketballs in the men's clothing section. This Target is just down the street from my new apartment. I thought it would be great. It wasn't. Don't know what time they stick the grocery section but the entire section hgv and issues. Never mind the lack of selection with product. I.E. You can select from several diet type TV dinners but anything else. Forget it. The only other TV dinner NOT Diet is Chicken Hungry Man. That's it! The drink mix section is a joke at best. Several types of flavored Ginger Ale. But no Ginger Beer. (A very popular mix item right now.) Cruzed over to Electronics. Even worse. The video game section was not funny at all. I'm currently shopping for Gaming Headphones. Target advertises on line about all the products they have...then you walk in. The gaming headphone section was next to computer keyboards. The one on display had half the buttons ripped off but still on display. The staff that I talked with were all kind and helpful but dang. Stock a shelf Target. This location also has a small cafe and a Starbucks. I would shop for clothes here but that's about it. Don't even get me started on the beer section... Don't waste your time at this store. Spend the extra time traveling to the Clackamas or Portland store. I purchased a high chair here today, and upon opening it - it was clearly used and disgusting. Target didn't take the time to look through the box and ensure that it was in good condition before placing it back on the shelves. I called to discuss the situation and my concern and instead of talking to a person I was hung up on twice. I returned to the store this evening and returned the item. I got no apology, nothing but "We don't resell opened items." It was almost like she was implying that I was trying to return a dirty used high chair although I purchased it just a few hours earlier. OMG! Stop staring at people, glaring at people and casting judgment on people! I went in here, obtained a few items, and desired to sit while waiting for someone to finish shopping. Reluctantly, I went into the little food area and was going to plug on my phone and get on the Internet, etc. I remember doing this once, prior no problem. I think I had been waiting for a ride or bus etc. This time, however, - in the same little seating area the plug out let was COVERED with a silver plate. I mean, really?? I was so irate, but not surprised. Don't let Fairview fool you - it's just another Nazi town, just like Portland, Oregon USA. This Target hires little teenage boys (barely 20) to be 'security guards' and 'watch' the grounds. If you are a traveler/ free spirit/ off the grid or simply private person - BE CAREFUL going into here to: park your car for leisure (while you sit/detox from road trip etc.) or plug in any electronic devices. Super, super Nazi and will assume you are homeless and even try to get your plates. When I went into the seating area, mistakenly, I asked a question to an employee, "may I sit here while waiting for a friend?" to which he rambled on for at least 5 minutes about absolutely nothing. Yes or No would be about 3 seconds, but I stand there for a longggg time. If you desire to sit while you go in, just sit. Don't talk to anyone working there - at all - or draw any attention to yourself. Fairview has a very serious "Neighborhood Watch", as well. If you park your car and walk to a friend's house and get lost, you may be yelled at. This happened to myself, while trying to visit someone in an unfamiliar area. I had again, a young teenage boy who was a 'security guard' shine a flashlight onto me while I was walking down the street at night (maybe 9:00 p.m.). He kept screaming "you need to get off this property." Well, I am on a public sidewalk, and lost. He had targeted me because I stopped to call a friend. and had been going up and down the block for a minute or two. I wasn't even on his side of the road, which was really strange. Why don't you go tell your mom what hard work you did tonight, unnecessarily harassing someone who could very well be your: teacher, attorney, and/or mother. Worst experience at this store!!! My husband and I were discriminated at this Target location in Fairview, OR. Before we got inside the store, a lady at the parking lot made a dirty finger at us. When we got inside the store, we saw this lady and asked her why she did that to us. While we are asking that lady and her male companion, a Target employee turned to me and my husband and asked us to immediately leave the store. She did not even care to know what happened and did not confront the other customers. We are the only ones that were asked to leave and treated us like criminals. We started going to this store frequently since we moved to the area. Target is known for friendly staff but this store is quite the opposite. I've been a red card member for a many years. By far this store has the most unfriendly staff specifically at the billing counters that I've encountered at any target store. I am sorry to generalize, I am sure there are certain percentage of great staff as well. But I've been here multiple times and the staff seems almost hostile. Like this location because it's close and has majority of the department's you want when shopping at target. More often than not the staff isn't concerned w8th customer service. I'd say 90% of the cashier staff is great and friendly, where as the other 10% is slow and seems to hate life or at least their jobs. 100% of the staff working the floor don't clean, reorganoze, offer help, be availablr....anything!!!! It's appalling they get to keep their jobs. The bathrooms are ALWAYS disgusting and smell like months of body odor and waste built up. It's horrendous. You can smell it when you enter the hallway towards the bathroom. How hard is it to clean ppl?!?!? I shop at Target stores all over the country... and I have NEVER had a bad experience until arriving at THIS ONE. From the moment I walked in the door... EVERY SINGLE Shelf and rack was in disarray. This either says something about the type of people that live and shop in this area (ratchet, inconsiderate slobs)... OR that management needs to pull this team together to keep their work areas somewhat picked up so there is at least a walk way. I knew exactly what I needed when I walked in. I was getting a pair of dress shoes for my daughter and a new dress. But amidst the disaster I couldn't find anything. At all! NOTHING was in order!!! Almost every shoe was out of its box and on the ground all mixed up. And in the clothing section, pajamas were mixed in with Mis matched shirts and dresses. Boy clothing mixed with the girls. It was so messy I had to leave and ended up getting what I needed at a Fred Meyer near by. From their corporate call center all the way to this store they have failed in the customer service department. I made an online order and set it to pick up at the store. I got the item and the box looked like it had been through the ringer, I was told I would have to wait until the next day to do anything about it because it was an online order. After many go around a with the call center I got no where and finally in the store I got no where again. I returned the item and don't plan on returning to Target because I generally like the store. The online ordering process is incredibly frustrating. Broken links, pages that won't load, pop ups that won't close. I was trying to get two items that are only available at Target. I found them both available for order pickup at the Fairview location, said they had three in stock. After using the online ordering system, which was not user friendly and took far too long to navigate, I placed my order for pickup. When I went to the store they only had one oft he items, the cashier was friendly, but never apologized, she explained the item was out of stock. I asked her to please cancel the whole order and refund it. She said she can't. I have to do it on my phone. Nice. So I cancelled it on my phone, a few hours later I see an email that I've been issued a Target gift card. Are you kidding me? I don't want a gift card I want my money back!
