Great selection, even better prices. Love coming here and finding excellent items. Even though it shows closed, they are open on Sundays!

I love this store! All proceeds go to support the mission of the Arc Portland Metro. They have a great selection of women's clothes.

Dress For Success Oregon - Just after my successful interview! Rocking the green dress & black undershirt from Portland's Dress For Success

The mission behind Dress for Success is definitely something I can get behind. Its not just about…read moreproviding clothing. Its about giving women support, the knowledge, tools, and yes clothes, so they have a better chance of landing a job and providing for themselves and their family. Women earn the right to select accessories or special clothing based on how many interviews they went on, completing learnings, etc. This ensures that both sides are committed, the ladies seeking help and those working at Dress for Success. Yes, the hours are limited for accepting donations, and if you are like me and went through the emotional release of your clothes, you want to drop it off immediately! But sorting the clothes takes time and as I mentioned above, the majority of their time is spent meeting the women in need of their service, teaching interview skills, helping with resumes, showing ladies where to find job postings, helping the ladies select interview outfits, discussing childcare options, etc. My biggest "ah ha" moment came when I dropped off yet another motherlode of dress slacks, tailored jackets, dresses and formal business attire. I mentioned to the women receiving the clothes how my next stop was Goodwill to donate my more casual slacks and sweaters. She said, no! Bring them here. That is exactly what most of these women need. The majority are not seeking high level office jobs. And in Portland, even those in professional business jobs dress casual. Casual Friday is everyday! If a woman is seeking a job in retail, at a grocery store, for example, she needs nice slacks and a top, maybe a scarf and a handbag. Not a designer suit! Now I bring all my clothes that are in good shape to Dress for Success. I give them my fomr business attire, which I no longer wear, AND nice khakis, jeans and dress slacks. Plus sweaters, cotton tops, blouses, jackets, scarves, handbags, shoes and costume jewelry. Basicsic clothing and accessories to build a wardrobe upon. Dress for a Success is definitely worth supporting. It is about women giving other women a hand up.

I have been shopping with rerun for many years starting at their old location on Fremont. I'm glad…read morethey are in our neighborhood now and I can walk there regularly. Staff are very friendly and I believe the prices are affordable. They have incredible selection and the inventory is frequently changing! I'm also a long-term consigner with them and very happy with the arrangement. Parking can be tight so plan accordingly.

For some reason, my brain thought Rerun was a used record store, so after having brunch at the…read morenearby Denizen's Café (fantastic, BTW!), we wandered over here to check things out, and I'm so very glad we did! Sure, they have used CDs and vinyls, but also, so much more! Furniture, home décor, artwork, electronics, toys and games, collectibles, and an entire basement (not obvious from outside) full of clothing, costumes and accessories, all priced competitively and reasonably. My wife ended up secretly returning and buying, off all things, a giant toy pirate ship that I was ogling for, of all things, using in an upcoming D&D campaign. So...yeah...that's where I'm at in life, haha! But that just goes to show that Rerun2 (there's another one, apparently!) really does have something for everyone; even dorky man-children like me (and all my friends, who were similarly awed by it, so there)! Rerun2 may be the exception to the rule, where the sequel is as good, or better than the original. That's still to be determined, but after striking gold at this location on NE Sandy, this is one Rerun I will happily revisit.
