Wooden bust sculpture, stone candle holders, Don Quixote sculpture

A well curated collection of items for resale. Need a typewriter to send the best letters to your penpal? Need a delightful scarf to drape over your lamp? Want a vase for flowers for your yard? They likely have something that suits. It's a fun place to browse and the staff are nice. Remember they are open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday at this location. I got a wooden bust that I adore here. It is more alluring than the Mona Lisa and I will cherish it for decades. Maybe you'll find a treasure here as well!

There's a famous line talking about a box of chocolates. That's what the store is like. Whenever I'm in the area I swing by because you never know. I've found several gems here over the years. The first one was an ikea wall unit. Another gem was a wall first aid metal box. This last time was two leather stools that will go into my mancave. The staff is nice. Sometimes the conversations are awkward. I think I make the owner nervous. I'm waiting for some neon signs, the bumper in the basement or other cool lighting things to be there.

Updated for accuracy: Since I wrote this review, the Rerun2 location has opened a clothing section downstairs. Now there's more of a reason than ever to visit both Reruns lest you miss a single thing!

Quick stop here on a Saturday afternoon while in the neighborhood. You won't have an issue parking - they have a 10+ car parking lot. Friendly staff. Clean store. Plenty of items covering a wide spectrum....Antiques, jewelry, music, clothes, desks, utensils...you name it. You can also sell stuff here for a fair price. If you are looking for specific rare items, chances are good you may find them here. Pretty cool consignment store.

With green walls, green signs, green pails, and big green trees, "rerun" could imply "recycle, reduce, reuse!"

Prices are really reasonable for furniture, housewares and a smallish selection of clothing. Staff are always really nice too.

How's their consignment compared to buffalo exchange? Do they only take vintage clothing? Do they take a wide variety of styles, sizes and brands? Or are they extremely picky and it's not worth It? Also, is it same-day payout or a waiting period?

I've found them to be very reasonable compared to Buffalo Exchange (and in general). They take all sorts of clothing (including modern). I've gotten same-day payouts before. For big loads (furniture), you have to make an appointment and they've been… Read more

The quality of the product exceeded expectations and we look forward to many years of use and relaxation. We have been living in Portland for five years and wish we had found City Liquidators sooner. We have a small craftsman cottage with limited space and David really helped us pick the right furniture for our space. If you live in a larger house the choices are endless. Not just furniture but antique bars, neon lights, classic oversized film and music posters and artwork. You can get a lifesize Harley Quinn or John Wayne wooden statue, credenza's or wardrobes along with any kitchen supplies and small appliances you might need. New and vintage choices abound. When you go plan accordingly as there are multiple floors of merchandise to choose from and free lollipops for the kids to keep them busy. Even if you don't buy anything, the first trip you'll be blown away by the selection and you'll definitely come back to get something unique the next time. That's what we did. Also, and most importantly, no pressure from the sales staff. They let you wander around and really look over anything you'd like. As I like to say you don't get the hard sell on the soft couch. Have fun.

Vast selection, the best vintage in Portland! When I visit, I plan on at least 45 minutes because there is so much to see! I walk around the entire footprint then turn around and walk the other direction because different items will catch your eye. If you are seeking an occasional chair, they have so many styles and cool pieces. Wish I had room for more! They just don't make these styles anymore or of the same quality. They usually have a large selection of couches also in shades of teal, orange, avocado just like on The Brady Bunch. Even plaid, if that's your thing. And of course boomerang shaped coffee tables to complete your seating area. There are so many unique one of a kind pieces too, like an upright piano transformed into a bar. OMG, I wish I had the space for it! What I always have room for is unique bar ware and glasses and they have lots to choose from. Lots of metal and sculptural wall art which really gives a room personality especially when complimenting paintings or prints. They have a large selection of table lamps but it's the hanging pendants that I really love. Perusing this store ignites so many memories! I see items that take me back to my childhood home, pieces I haven't thought about in years. My face lights up remembering a curved side table, a Sputnik light and metal flower wall art similar to what adorned our den. Or a set of whiskey sour glasses like the ones my dad drank from, prints on pillows that are in photographs in my family album. Furniture that over years made it's way to our basement and then probably a vintage shop like Hawthorne Modern! Love, love, love this place! They moved to SE Alder but the charm, the selection, the finds are all still there!

Do not consign furniture with this company! Similar to an…read moreearlier Google review from Renetta, I had a very poor experience as a consigner with this business. I consigned 7 pieces with them in February 2023. Michael, the owner of the business, violated the terms of consignment contract in two ways and was just a poor business person to deal with. He violated the agreement by lowering prices for my pieces below the agreed threshold without notifying me, as was required. And he did not make payments to me following sales of individual items as was also required. Perhaps more importantly, as Renetta experienced, he provided no documentation whatsoever as to the actual sales of the items - no receipts, invoices sent to clients, no notation of sales prices per item, nothing. He just said the total proceeds were XXX$ (less than 50% of his original estimation). So he could have been completely making the number up. Because of this I asked for a report with prices by pieces and receipts. He refused to provide one. When I eventually gave up on that, he then ignored my requests for payment until I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I was finally paid for my pieces almost a year after consigning them. I am a small business owner myself. I store receipts for every transaction my business conducts. If someone asks for a receipt or record of a transaction I can provide it easily. For Michael, this is too much to ask.

They have curated a vast collection of mid-century modern furniture, many unique pieces, and in good condition. Was impressed and amazed at how many chairs they have! Not one or two of this and that; they had enough of the same chair to surround a dining table for 6 or 8! And also many dining tables of different materials and styles. Michael, the owner, gave me a cheerful greeting upon entry and welcomed me into the store. He gave me details on several items I was checking out, and since he didn't have the Eames chairs in the particular color and leg style I'm seeking, he offered to reach out to his network and get back to me. Now that is service! The store is deceivingly large so take your time and go through every room. In addition to couches, occasional chairs, dining tables and chairs, there are coffee tables, ottomans, side tables, lamps, hanging lights, chandeliers, pottery, vases, some dinnerware and some beautiful art. I'm so happy that I discovered this gem of a store! I will be making my rounds here frequently. Beautiful items, fair prices, and super friendly and helpful service - a winning combo!

That could be pottery, clothing, art, furniture, tchotchkes, plants, or something else. Some get really creative with their booths, adding hanging decor or a fun layout. I had some sticker shock over pricing, but I'm sure there are deals to be found also. If I were looking for a special item I would certainly return here to search. This place has both new and used items. We buy stuff every time we go. There is vinatage furniture, new art, used art, cool little chakis, chairs, purses, jewelry, antiques, clothing and great vintage finds. So much more as well! Some things are unaffordable for us and some are more reasonably priced. We found beautiful wood shelves that are stunning and bought them. They were exactly what we were looking for. We got a cool industrial console table abd other fool finds. I have bought a few nicknacks that I like and new art when they had a sale. Street parking is easy to find plus they have a parking lot. There are bathrooms. I would say the one thing I dislike is everything is a final sale. I mean absolutely everything. So I have not bought certain things in case they could not work where we want to put them or we were might want to use. Also for gifts since they are not returnable and want to give my gift receiver's that option. Some staff are more helpful than others. So it depends on who is working. This a good place to go if you are cool with final sales. Theycdo have grsat stuff.
