Great service!
Trevor H.

My new favorite place! I ordered a used GI Joe vehicle from their website. The price was very competitive...enough to make me research them before I ordered. Between the price and the free shipping, it was almost too good to be true. But, everything I found said they were legit. Of course, if you're reading this, you're more than likely doing your own research. My item was shipped from their Portland store so I'm leaving my review for them. The vehicle was exactly as pictured on their site. The packaging they used made sure it arrived in one piece and, for a used toy, it was in great shape. They made sure all of the accessories were secure as well. Also, I find that sometimes it's the little things that really make a difference. In this case, it was a "thank you" card that was in the box when I opened it. That was a nice touch. I live out of state, which is probably for the better. I'm pretty sure I'd spend every day there and that would probably cause a few arguments at home. Still, I would love to make the trip someday. Thank you, Rogue Toys!

Childhood memories come alive and back like Flash Gordon. While I didn't see the super wonder I am sure this toy company can get one for you. Famously seen on Pawn Stars via the history channel for their stores in Vegas this gem happens to be in one my favorite cities....Portland, OR. As soon as I walked in I was transformed back to my childhood. Thunder cats on the right of me, transformers to the left of me and a mixture of joy all around me. Star Wars, teenage mutant ninja turtles, WWF (not I know WWE superstars), Voltron, Barbies, GI Joes and so much more. They have vintage video games and systems, no goldeneye though I asked, and then cried. I would have bought all of the GI JOE items if I could have transported it back to California safely. But I am sure I will return or maybe they ship since I didn't ask. So worth the time to see what this place had to offer! I hope they continue to do well!!

Way cool place! Lots of old school toys - GI Joe, Starwars, and comic book toys. The owner is a cool guy that knows his stuff and loves toys. Absolutely one of the coolest stores in Portland.

We visited as many toy shops as we could in Portland, and this one was top of our list. It was pretty out of the way for us but absolutely worth the trip. As soon as we entered we started loading up on toys. This place is clean, super organized and has a TON of great toys in box and a very organized selection of loose toys. The prices were great too, enough so that this was the one shop that we loaded up on toys. Dr Tongues, Future Shock were very cool and accessible but the chillest place with the friendliest owner was the most shoppable and worth the joruney. Don't question the trip! Just go!

Best shop in the Portland metro area, no question. They've got new, they've got vintage, they've got imports. The staff is friendly and interested and extremely helpful. Before you check EBay, before you check Toys R Us, check Rogue. They've probably got it.

One of the sales clerks (I didn't catch her name) immediately asked if I had questions and started to show me the one model I had been most interested in. She asked some thoughtful questions and ended up showing me a couple different options and even mentioned some upcoming models that aren't released yet that would be better suited for what I was looking for. I literally didn't buy anything and was there for maybe 10 minutes but had such a positive interaction and left feeling so much less confused and overwhelmed. Will definitely be back for some more shopping when it's closer to my due date!

I've been to several local baby stores, and this one easily stands out as the best. The store is bright, welcoming, and well-organized. Every single staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We came specifically to check out strollers because we were overwhelmed with online reviews and needed to see them in person. The team here was amazing -- they patiently walked us through each option and gave clear demonstrations. What really stood out was that they allowed us to take the strollers outside for a real test run, complete with a demo baby. All we had to do was provide our IDs. This made a huge difference since testing a stroller on the sidewalk feels totally different than just pushing it around indoors. They have a great selection of strollers and car seats. I do wish there were more budget-friendly options, but overall, we had a fantastic experience and truly appreciated the staff's kindness and support!

Outside of big retailers, there aren't many good, physical toy stores left and this one has all the feels of being a kid and going into a toy store with wondrous delight everywhere you turn. Here, it's not on app on the screen: Touch, feel, and see the toys because they've got new stuff and "oh my gosh, remember this?!" stuff. There is something for almost every age group and a nice price range of items to choose from as well: stuffed animals, puzzles, stickers, cute pens, toy cars, wooden toys, legos, and so much more. I almost missed the "hidden" book section in the back! I do agree with another yelper that the employees are rather aloof and a bit unhelpful, but there isn't much one can help, unless you are looking for something specific and you're in a hurry. If you have kids and/or you're looking for gifts/rewards, this place is def a must-stop!

I have been shopping at Kids at Heart when I come to Portland on business for quite some time. I…read moredid again this weekend. I have experienced a pattern of somewhat unfriendly behavior by some staff working at this store before, but really thought nothing of it until a recent experience both in their store and outside of. I will add however that not all employees here can be blamed for the actions of others. I also just happened to attend a birthday party early Sunday evening for my daughter's friend. Another individual was there, who coincidentally owns a retail store in the same area as Kids At Heart, and was explaining after the party to a few of us how he bought some Needoh there and how he was texting other parents ahead of this party that they could find them there too. He went on to say that days later, the owner of Kids at Heart barges in to his store during business hours, in front of his own customers, and accuses him or buying Needoh from her store and selling them at his. Mind you, he is showing us video footage from his phone to back up how outlandish the Kids At Heart owners behavior was and I watched in confusion because he tried calmly explaining to her that it was simply coincidence and she didn't seem to care. What was tacky was how she had no visual proof of her claim, only some he said-she said story, then started going off about prices of items in his store and on his website while shouting some type of action against his store. I could only wonder if she was there for more competitive or territorial reasons, but then I would be guilty of assumption as well. This behavior was all over an extremely popular $5-$15 toy sold at hundreds of other stores, which I see listed on Walmart and Amazon for $30-45. Many of the parents have had to drive around for weeks hunting for these things in preparation of the party, time was running out, and this other business owner kinda saved the day for us by making sure every kid (and some parents) at this party had a Needoh, or ones to gift, so everyone could have the same experience as the birthday girl. The picture I took at this party with one of the same Needoh styles this man purchased from Kids at Heart (and other stores too) kinda proves my point because they clearly ended up at a personal event, not in his store. After hearing this story and seeing proof to back it up, I was shocked by the owner of Kids At Heart and her behavior. I am not one to typically review retail stores and I was not asked to leave this review by anyone involved, but I certainly felt it needed to be done since the owner of Kids At Heart acted in such a hostile way towards another business that supported them. Overall, my experience this weekend combined with the above - I now choose to look elsewhere for children's gifts (and so will a handful of other parents).
