Affordable buffet, match with what expected. Not a lot of people at weekday noon. String been and chicken screwers recommended.

cheap tape to fix booth seat ruins overall decor of place

Wide assortment of Chinese food and some simple maki/nigiri sushi; pleasant staff; prompt service. General fare so don't expect roast beef, crab legs, wild-caught salmon, oysters, lobsters, unagi, or fancier mushrooms/salad bar. Some highlights from my weekday lunch: crisp lightly-battered fried shrimp, ample parking, excellent price for all-you-can-eat buffet. Fruits like kiwi and melons not ripe but hard/sour. One main downer - they need to fix this booth seat (below) - I don't think others were like this, but this is where we were seated. I still give it 5 stars for what it is - a convenient local buffet to appeal to the masses with a hard-to-beat price

Sometimes you just want a cheap buffet to go ham on. If that's you, this place is excellent. Not the freshest fare, but the price is good for weekday lunches. You get what you expect from a cheap buffet. It has its place in the world

As cheap Chinese buffets go, this one is pretty up there. Large space, great variety of food, and cheap prices. The hot foods are actually kept hot and quite tasty. And seafood is pretty fresh tasting. A great selection of chinese, American, soups, sushi, seafood (including raw), and desserts. Even for ice cream there are like 8 options. Pleasantly impressed with this spot. Solid food for the price.

As buffets go this place is good if you come during really busy times and not so great if you end up here during an off peak time. During busy times the crowds of people hoarding all the food like they never ate before wipe out a lot of the base items quickly (lo mien, rice, etc)... and they never seem to be prepared for this and take a while to put in more food. The upside to when these hoarding people are there is that the food is always fresh and hot. I never understood why people attack the food at buffets... hello its a buffet the food isn't going anywhere! The items are all decent... nothing is blow your mind good. A lot of the items are very salty though... almost too salty. The meat skewers to the back side of the buffet are always tasty but seem to sit there longer than most other items. The sushi is OK... I wouldn't it expect it to be any better here than what it is... The dessert/fruit section is pretty good except all of the desserts usually taste freezer burnt. We came here once after a baptism for a mini party which my friend had called in advance to reserve for. They had promised a specific table area in the separate room to the back... they did not have it when we got there. The waitstaff and manager were extremely rude to my friend and were upset that she wanted to rearrange tables so our whole party could sit together - seriously?!

A solid 3.5 stars! This place had a biig selection of food including a lot of seafood. I tried about half their items but the more memorable dishes were following: Broccoli chicken, fried chicken wings, seafood soup, hot n sour soup, string beans, walnut prawns, egg roll, and pot stickers. For the price it's a great deal. I would go back the next time I'm in the area...

Not good. Everything was lukewarm, honestly it seemed below safe temperature. Nice variety, but the temperature made me nervous.

The quality of the ingredients here is truly incredible - everything was so fresh and perfectly seasoned - we will definitely be back. We ordered: Grilled Salmon ($17) - This came with two sides and I chose the butternut squash and vegetable which ended up being broccoli. First, I am not a huge fan of squash but this squash was to die for. It was mashed up and so buttery and well seasoned. Wow. I'd come back just for the squash if I'm being honest. It was perfectly sweet and rich - a really great side to any dish. The broccoli was a steamed head of broccoli that was fine and added some nice green to our dinner, but that squash was special. And if we're talking about special, the salmon was grilled perfectly, seasoned perfectly, and came with this delicious creamy dill sauce and a slice of lemon that brought everything together wonderfully. It was perfectly cooked and juicy with great flavor - I will definitely be ordering this again. Seafood Casserole ($21) - We got this with mashed potatoes and cole slaw and the potatoes were also really tasty and well seasoned. The cole slaw didn't have too much mayo which was nice, but it wasn't too special other than that. The casserole itself had some HUGE scallops, shrimp, and haddock that was all very nicely breaded and buttery. The scallops were literally the best scallops I've had in over five years. They were massive, sweet, and perfectly cooked so they were tender and juicy inside. The shrimp was also above-average - nice and plump with a good sweetness as well, and the fish was decent, but not the star of the show. Steamed Mussels ($17) - This was served over linguini with a garlic, white wine, and tomato sauce. There were a good amount of fresh mussels in this, and the sauce had a nice balance of sour, sweet, and savory. This wasn't my favorite, but it was still very solid. Both this and the other pasta dish also came with two pieces of garlic bread which was served as a roll cut like a hasselback potato with butter, garlic, and herbs stuffed in each mini-slice. It was buttery and salty and even crispy - really delicious! Seafood Fra Diavolo ($23) - Similar to the seafood casserole, this had AMAZING scallops and shrimp in it. It also surprisingly had small chunks of lobster, and the fish was yummy as well. The sauce was sweet and tomato-ey, and we kept coming back to this linguine dish over and over - it was so fresh and balanced! Overall, EVERYTHING WAS SO FRESH. All of the seafood was sweet, fresh, and just really clean tasting. We will absolutely be coming back here again and again, and the price was also really reasonable. On top of that, they have a little shop where you can buy fresh raw seafood as well as prepared seafood soups, baked dishes, salads, desserts, and other treats and goodies. This is such a wonderful find we're so happy to have discovered it!

Upon walking inside, you'll immediately feel like you've gone back in time. It gives off a very classic, old-fashioned diner feel, with booth seating and red stools along the counter. Important to note that this place is cash only. Lobster and other seafoods are advertised as their specialty both online and within the restaurant. I never had a lobster roll before, and unfortunately, this place made me think lobster rolls were mediocre and overrated (and then I had my life changed by lobster rolls from other places). FOOD: Lobster Roll (6 oz.) (2.75/5) - I opted for mine to be served warm with butter. It came with a side of slaw and very generous portion of onion rings and fries. The lobster roll itself was lukewarm and the melted butter came on the side in a small plastic cup. (I was expecting for the butter to be more incorporated.) The lobster sat on a small bed of cut lettuce. The lettuce wasn't of the freshest quality as some pieces tasted strangely bitter. The lobster was a tad rubbery, and everything was overall bland to me. I found myself reaching for the salt shaker more than would have wanted to. SERVICE: I believe a new hire was getting trained during my visit, so it was a bit clumsy. However, I found it rather charming. They are all very warm people, and you can tell that this is a family owned establishment, which is why I really wanted to like this place. TLDR// Unfortunately, did not have the greatest first lobster roll experience here. Hopefully, I went on an off day or I was better off ordering something else.
