I generally like the food here. My complaint is about the seating and the drinks. I have been coming to this buffet for over 10 years and the seats have just deteriorated to the point of discomfort. It's time to invest some money in new seating. Also just seem like attention to detail has gone down hill. Soda is all about getting the right mix between syrup and carbonated water. Last 5 to 6 times my drink has been flat, too much syrup not enough carbonation. Those things matter. So now I think about going there, then say....eh, maybe not. $12.95 for weekday lunch buffet is a crazy good price and the food is great as well! Coming from the city where all you can eat prices are $20 or higher (even on weekdays), this is an incredible deal. I came on a Thursday with family and we were seated immediately. There were probably only 10 tables or so with people at them, but the food looked hot and good to me. I ended up eating 5 plates (only 2 pictured below) and the quality of the food was surprising for buffet food. Sushi - the sushi was actually really really good. There was just a small amount of rice to a large and thick cut of fish, and the salmon, tuna, and white fish all tasted fresh and not fishy at all. I was really pleasantly surprised by this and went back for more each time! Octopus salad - this was in the cold section and it was sweet, a little spicy, and a really pleasant texture. I also got this on most of my plates - and this is something I don't see at too many buffets! Fish - I had both salmon and a white fish and both tasted fairly fresh and delicious. They weren't overcooked and had nice sauces on them. Other items - I had a few types of chicken which were all quite tasty - pretty standard Chinese takeout style. The dumplings had a lot of tasty filling, the fried shrimp was never ending (a huge tray that was always hot and still crispy), the crawfish was nicely seasoned, and the fried doughnut with sugar on it was a staple that I'd get anytime. Desserts - there was a whole island dedicated to dessert and I didn't try everything, but the custard pastry was very nice and not too sweet. The Jello was pretty standard but nice and refreshing, and the fruit was also a nice break from savory foods. The cakes and pies looked good and I had a cheesecake and a strawberry cake which were really nice. Lastly, this isn't in the dessert section, but the sesame balls filled with red bean are SO GOOD. All in all, 5/5 - the price is amazing, the variety is great, and everything I ate tasted delicious! read more

A have it all buffet restaurant buffet. More food selections for the dinner and the weekend meals. Very happy this buffet survived the Covid disaster where other Chinese restaurants ceased their buffet meals. Luncheon meal prices are in effect till 3 PM. Then the dinner prices are charged. If you miss the Chinese Buffets from the past. The take the drive to the Super Buffet in Marlboro. And if you like Crawfish (southern style I believe) , then I am sure you will be very satisfied with the many foods, offered and the price. I wonder if people who are complaining about the lack of options are eating during lunchtime? Went to dinner with two others and there was a large selection of food: several protein and vegetable stir fry options, dumplings, chicken on a stick, chicken wings, fried rice, lo mein, crab legs, clams, crawfish, two different kinds of fish, sushi selection, vegetables, fried goodies and more! Also three kinds of soups. Salad bar filled with fruits and desserts. Ice cream too. Food was hot and delicious! Staff was attentive and kind. Decor was definitely more on the old side but that's not why I go to buffet; I go to eat and care more about the quality of food. Will definitely be going back. read more

Food was very stale and they don't replenish the food that quickly. I was waiting for crawfish for 40 minutes but never got refill. Overall selection was meager. Also their AC was either broken or underpowered. I was sweating my b***s while eating there. I was there on 4/2/2022 @ around 11:30. First of all, it was cold in there. The wait staff was wearing winter gloves and visibly cold. I needed to consume my food wearing my coat. As buffets go this place is good if you come during really busy times and not so great if you end up here during an off peak time. During busy times the crowds of people hoarding all the food like they never ate before wipe out a lot of the base items quickly (lo mien, rice, etc)... and they never seem to be prepared for this and take a while to put in more food. The upside to when these hoarding people are there is that the food is always fresh and hot. I never understood why people attack the food at buffets... hello its a buffet the food isn't going anywhere! The items are all decent... nothing is blow your mind good. A lot of the items are very salty though... almost too salty. The meat skewers to the back side of the buffet are always tasty but seem to sit there longer than most other items. The sushi is OK... I wouldn't it expect it to be any better here than what it is... The dessert/fruit section is pretty good except all of the desserts usually taste freezer burnt. We came here once after a baptism for a mini party which my friend had called in advance to reserve for. They had promised a specific table area in the separate room to the back... they did not have it when we got there. It's okay - cheap, greasy chinese food in large amounts. Friends wanted to go here after a long day of water activities in the nearby park. I mostly ate seafood there, raw items didnt look too great (especially the oysters), and what impressive-looking massive clams didn't taste fresh at all. However, I did enjoy the snow crab legs and crawfish. There's a large selection of deep fried food, chicken, shrimp etc tossed in sweet and sticky sauce. They have tons of versions of shrimp and seafood so if you want Salmon, crab legs, or shrimp swimming in sauces or fried to a T this is the place to be. Their chicken options are pretty good, sweet and sour chicken, bourbon chicken, broccoli and chicken are all the same quality you would expect from a cheap Chinese take out place. Their "hibachi" options are really just tons of overcooked kabobs of meat. Avoid those. The soups are flavorless but the shumai's are pretty good but definitely not the best anywhere. This place is not the most modern or cool spot. But for the price of one appetizer in most places now, you can have a lunch. On the weekends for the price of a medium priced entre in most middle level places you get a buffet that has Sea Food? In a state where inside of 495 the average house costs around 700000 dollars? Basically no more bargains hardly in this area except for this place. The food is pretty basic but I like the fact they have a very good selection of vegetable dishes. I stay away from the carbohydrate dishes and meat since I have been eating way lower on the food chain after all these years of watching animal videos and realizing how sentinent almost all life is. Restaurant Looks very run down and dirty, just like the food. Found a hair in our food within 2 minutes. Everything is stale and bland, some of it even smelly. More specifically, the rice was crunchy almost not cooked, spare ribs taste like liquorice, and the jello tastes like straight pine sol.
