Mark is an outstanding person and mechanic! Thank you so much thoroughly going over my Scott bike that I've had for years now. I never knew how nice a bike it was until riding it again after you worked on it. Now it rides smooth, no noises, fast, comfortable, easier on the climbs, no fear of falling due to headset work, and on and on. I was considering a new bike this year but forget that, I'll just keep coming back as needed. Plus I have a few other bikes I'll be bringing by as well. Thanks again Mark, you're the best, and God bless you and your staff! read more

Mark and Jack put their heads together and figured out how to run an Odyssey Gyro on my 29" frame. They also threw some Box Three V-brakes on the rear. It came together beautifully. And quickly. I wasn't expecting to get my bike back as soon as I did based on the challenges this install involved. I keep coming back to this shop for good reason. read more

Unexpected Charges, unauthorized to do full bike diagnostics. I recently took my bike to Mark's Bicycle in Rancho Ramon for service. The staff was friendly, and Jody at the register tried to help, but unfortunately, he didn't seem very familiar with bike details. I left my bike for a week, and when I went to check, no service had been done. After I mentioned I needed the bike, it was suddenly completed within two hours. When I picked it up, I was charged $260 for work that I didn't fully authorize. I only brought the bike in because it was making a noise in the back, and I couldn't afford a full service. Later, I was told to contact Mark, who explained the charges and said he had done a "thorough inspection." While I appreciate the quick turnaround, I wish the shop had communicated clearly about the work and costs before doing anything. P.S. He said that my pinarello is an expensive bike(maybe meaning he needed to charge me according to the bike I have.) Karma is out there. read more

Support local Any time you can that's always my first choice! Mark and Laurie are absolutely awesome and you can tell they genuinely care about your well-being and that your bike is in tiptop shape. I am super novice when it comes to these kinds of things, but they took their time to explain and show me some tips and tricks to make my bike last longer. There are closer bike shops to where I live, but I don't have the same trust and confidence like I do here. read more

This bicycle shop is special!! They make sure to take very good care of you and it is right next to a bike trail lane... super convenient. They have a in house repair shop with very knowledgeable staff, plus what I like is the fact that you can trust them. They won't sell you or misguide you on anything additional that you need if you don't. A employee from O'Reilly recomend them to me and I am very thankful he did. Regarding price on repairs they are very compatible with the big locations but the fact that this business is trustworthy is priceless to me. Date of first visit: January 2023 Many more visits to come... thank you read more

I went there to fix my bicycle front tire flat. The lady on the phone quoted me $15 but the after she learned that I already had the front wheel out, she said it'll be just $10. So I like the details of pricing. When I went in, she showed me options of the tub. The repair guy (not Mark who was busy with another bike) showed me why I had a flat and told me what he was going to do. And I was out of the shop soon. The communication and details were top notch, I will be back for my bicycling needs! read more

I've been to Mark's Bicycle Shop twice now to replace my son's bike tire, and each visit has been a great experience. Mark and his team are kind, helpful, and genuinely care about their customers. He took great care of me had what I needed and I love to support small local owned businesses. Brought my Cannondale Tri bike in for a pre-race "Tune-Up". Turned out it was in much worse shape than I thought. Hadnt really been used in 7 years since an Ironman and it's gears/chain were trashed. Mark and his team replaced everything very quickly, at a reasonable price and got me back training in record time. The bike was old and the parts were not easy to find. Bike looks brand new now thanks to Mark. They did great work. Really pleased with this shop! Also got a great deal on a used bike transport case! read more

Great place and owners! I brought my older road bike in for some needed repairs and a tune up. After fixing my shifter, Mark called me after finding a crack in my frame. He explained the options and we both decided to skip the time up for safety concerns. Save me the expense. I instead bought a nice used bike for a little more than what I was expecting my repairs were going to be. This place is honest and does great work. Reasonable prices. Definitely going back! read more

This shop can't be in a better spot than right next to the Pacific Electric trail. We dropped by to see the stuff they had in stock and I found a silver bell for my fixie handlebars. Mark, Lori, and Jack were SO helpful and kind. We were driving through the area with our bikes on the back of the camper we were pulling and they fell off on the freeway because the bike rack failed! No one was injured but one of the bikes was damaged enough to make it in rideable. Since we were just passing through and had reservations to keep at RV Parks, we asked Mark if he might be able to help us and if there were any chance he could do it quickly because of our schedule. He said he would see what he could do and he fixed the bike even before the time he said it would be done! On top of that, the price was quite reasonable. Please do business with these guys, they're straight shooters and tell you like it is. read more

Mark runs a good, honest business. I took my bike in for a minor tune up and to install two new tubeless tires. The work was done well and quickly. It wasn't cheap, but it was competitive with other shops. This is a true LBS and I strongly recommend it to any type of rider. read more

WHY GO ANYWHERE ELSE? My daughter bought my 4yr old grandson a bike from a big box store. He was having trouble peddaling it. Everything seemed tight. I brought it to Mark's, and asked him to look at it. He found the pedal Assy. was too tight, the rear hub Assy was binding, the front brakes were rubbing, and the tires were not inflated enough! The next day, Mark called, and said it was all taken care of, and it was ready, and safe to ride. We brought it back to my grandson, and he was riding like a pro! I wouldn't take any bikes anywhere else! Thanks Mark!! read more

Mark's Bicycle Shop - Bike Repair/Maintenance Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

I recently purchased a used mountain bike on Craigslist that was in pretty great shape. When I got it home, I realized that the rims weren't straight. I watched some YouTube videos about how to fix it but thought that since it's a used bike, it could probably use a real inspection from a professional. Enter Mark's Bicycle Shop. I brought my bicycle into the shop today some time around 1pm. I was warmly greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff that were more than happy to look at my bike. Their shop was very full but even with all of the bikes they had in, they treated me like I was their most important customer and it felt like my time was just as important to them as it is to me. They looked over my bicycle and made some recommendations while answering all of the questions I had. They asked if I could leave my bike for a few days while they worked on it and I said I could but I'd be grateful if they could have it back to me some time the next day. They said they'd do their best and I left. Less than 3 hours later, they called to let me know they were done. They fixed my rims, replaced my tubes, replaced the road tires with mountain bike tires, lubricated moving parts, replaced my brakes and even plugged an exposed opening over my front suspension that was driving me crazy but was never even mentioned (that one they did for free). Their work was phenomenal, their knowledge was fantastic and they were very friendly and inviting. Most importantly, they were fast, efficient and their prices were very reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this bicycle shop to anybody looking for that professional touch and I will be coming back for any bicycle maintenance/questions I may have in the future. read more

I got to say customer service lacks in a lot of business however at Mark's bike shop it's all about customer service 100 %. Went in today before regular business hours due to a flat I got while riding and the owner although it was still 30 minutes before opening took me in. He fixed my flat and adjusted my seat with no hesitation. I recommend you give them a shot when in need of bicycle repairs or just about anything you might need for a better cycling experience. He has a variety of accessories and really cool cycling kits that I'm definitely coming back for. So please think of our local small business like Mark's bike shop when in need of cycling supplies or services. read more

I'm always skeptical to take my bike or any other item that requires service anywhere. More often than not, these shops truly feel like they're just providing a service, collect their fee and forget about you. The vibe from this small shop truly gives me family owned vibes. The attention they gave me felt genuine & wholesome. This type of service makes room to build that much needed trust. The type of trust you need to establish ground roots. I'm certain on my next visit they'll remember me by first name. The owner made real suggestions for upgrades while keeping within budget and not just trying to upsell me. read more
