    My sons bike
    Mia A.

The people who work here are amazing. Mark helped us out and took care of my son's bike right away. Exceptional customer service and the bike is as good as new. Pricing is also reasonable and you can tell they are very honest here. So glad I found them.

Mark and Jack put their heads together and figured out how to run an Odyssey Gyro on my 29" frame. They also threw some Box Three V-brakes on the rear. It came together beautifully. And quickly. I wasn't expecting to get my bike back as soon as I did based on the challenges this install involved. I keep coming back to this shop for good reason.

Unexpected Charges, unauthorized to do full bike diagnostics. I recently took my bike to Mark's Bicycle in Rancho Ramon for service. The staff was friendly, and Jody at the register tried to help, but unfortunately, he didn't seem very familiar with bike details. I left my bike for a week, and when I went to check, no service had been done. After I mentioned I needed the bike, it was suddenly completed within two hours. When I picked it up, I was charged $260 for work that I didn't fully authorize. I only brought the bike in because it was making a noise in the back, and I couldn't afford a full service. Later, I was told to contact Mark, who explained the charges and said he had done a "thorough inspection." While I appreciate the quick turnaround, I wish the shop had communicated clearly about the work and costs before doing anything. P.S. He said that my pinarello is an expensive bike(maybe meaning he needed to charge me according to the bike I have.) Karma is out there.

Support local Any time you can that's always my first choice! Mark and Laurie are absolutely awesome and you can tell they genuinely care about your well-being and that your bike is in tiptop shape. I am super novice when it comes to these kinds of things, but they took their time to explain and show me some tips and tricks to make my bike last longer. There are closer bike shops to where I live, but I don't have the same trust and confidence like I do here.

This bicycle shop is special!! They make sure to take very good care of you and it is right next to a bike trail lane... super convenient. They have a in house repair shop with very knowledgeable staff, plus what I like is the fact that you can trust them. They won't sell you or misguide you on anything additional that you need if you don't. A employee from O'Reilly recomend them to me and I am very thankful he did. Regarding price on repairs they are very compatible with the big locations but the fact that this business is trustworthy is priceless to me. Date of first visit: January 2023 Many more visits to come... thank you

This bike shop is the absolute best!!! Super nice owners, very reasonable prices, and amazing customer service! As a newish road bike rider, the owner was so nice to demonstrate how my gearing system works on my bike, and even stayed out with me until I got it down. (got a bike tune up done) If you're looking for a great bike shop that knows what they're doing, look no further. This is it!!

The best bike shop hands down. Mark goes out of his way all the time. He installed some aero bars on my bike and looks amazing! High recommend this shop! Please shop local!

Mark and the team were extremely helpful in getting my old Cannondale CAAD 3 back on the road. They did a great job explaining what I needed and why I needed it, had the bike ready a day early, and charged fairly.

What I ended up getting was far more than I expected. The return was seamless and enlightening. All of the employees are so fun, friendly and knowledgeable. I met one young woman who asked if I needed help finding anything. I was looking for packs in the used section but she explained they go quick. I meandered around the store and bumped into her again. I asked her where the packs are and she showed me a large range. Since I'm looking somewhere in the 40-55L range she said she would get someone to help me. Initially I declined having help but she also mentioned a fitting. I had never had a backpack fitting so I accepted the help. Alyssa was amazing!!! She measured my spine and from there helped me find a pack. I learned I have a short torso. Makes sense and my waist is close to my chest so now I was able to find a pack that would sit appropriately on my hips (ilac crest). She was a wealth of knowledge. It was a wonderful visit. I definitely recommend this store if you want to find good deals in store or if you want to buy online and pickup in store.

Recently, I purchased a used--like new--PEDEGO bike from a private party (with less than 50 miles…read moreon it.) My boyfriend is very caring and meticulous, and he adjusted the derailleur to fix the issue of the chain falling off whenever we shifted out of second gear--the only gear that was working. Still, because he wanted to make absolutely sure the bike was safe for me, we decided to take it to PEDEGO ELECTRIC BIKES UPLAND. That's where we met the owner, Jerry--an incredibly friendly and helpful guy. I mentioned to him that whenever I rode my bike, I felt like my legs couldn't fully extend on the downward cycle. It felt as if I was pedaling with my knees bent at 90 degrees. Without hesitation, Jerry grabbed one of his bikes, told me to get mine, and brought us out back for a quick riding lesson! So there I was, a grown woman, suddenly learning how to ride my bike from a complete stranger--and loving every second of it. By riding alongside me and explaining what to do, Jerry showed me how to mount the bike and how to properly extend my leg on each downward stroke. The difference was immediate. I felt so much more comfortable and confident. I honestly couldn't believe it: at my age, I was learning a totally new way to ride a bike. Jerry was patient, attentive, and made sure I really understood the right technique. This small lesson taught me more than just bike posture--it showed me how genuinely caring and patient he is. After the lesson, Jerry did a full inspection of my bike and made several adjustments. While he worked, he answered all of our questions. We also got to know him a bit, and he treated us like old friends. In fact, he even had a few of his buddies hanging out at the shop, just chatting and enjoying the day. The whole atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. His shop has an amazing inventory, and we ended up buying several accessories for my bike. I even returned the very next day to pick up a few more items! All in all, our experience at PedegoElectric Bikes was outstanding. Jerry gave us exceptional service, offered fair prices, and showed deep knowledge and genuine friendliness. He treated us like friends, not just customers. From now on, his shop will be our go-to place for all our biking needs. Kudos to you, Jerry!
