Town & Country Market - Mill Creek - Lots of herbs but I think Fred Meyer has much more varieties for dry herbs.

The produce section continues to rock, as do the superb meat and seafood sections. The former asian section is mostly mixed in now, and that is fine. It still has a huge variety of top-quality items. Cheese has shrunk a bit since the new restaurant opened, but it's still good. Deli meats are a little less appealing, but still good. This is a wonderful grocer, neck-and-neck with the other local/regional high-end grocer, Metropolitan Market. Of the two, I prefer T&C. Both are great.

We stayed out of the middle aisles, shopping on the edges. The last time we were in, the original sushi people were gone, replaced by some run of the mill contractor with fishy tasting garbage. This time, prices were unbelievable. We all know that Covid affected the supply chain and things got expensive. The supply chain has been fine for awhile, yet everything is ridiculously expensive. I am not poor. I think I have a relatively decent income. When I mentioned that I was likely to stop including this store as a regular option, I was met with death stares. Seriously? We were followed to our car and asked to not come back. Seriously? I actually went back inside and took photos of the staff running away from me. We weren't violent. We didn't cuss. We weren't loud. We just called you out for being a money-hungry conglomerate charging as much as the richest customer will pay. You should be ashamed at how exclusionary your store really is. And obviously your staff isn't trained on anything remotely close to empathy. If they were, there attitude would have been much better. Effen Mill Creek snobs.

Pre-Covid pricing?! Inflation, what inflation? I love you WinCo!…read more This store has the exact layout and signage of older Cub Foods stores in Minnesota and other Midwest states. I worked at Cub for about 10 years in the 90s so I almost fainted when I walked in a few weeks ago. It is an exact replica. I've been in the area for 3 years and have been so disappointed in the grocery stores here. Prices elsewhere (I'm especially looking at you Safeway ) are convenience store levels of ridiculousness. And product selection is usually dire at conventional stores unless it's Walmart (ugh) or Fred Meyer. I get it, conventional grocery stores are pricier because of "service". But let's be honest here. Mainstream grocery stores now offer less than zero service. Shoppers are generally treated like an inconvenience. "Hey Safeway clerk, your 2% milk is empty at 5pm. Can you please bring some out? No? What do you mean you don't have anyone to restock?" Hmm, only self-checkout open? Let me ALSO do your employee's job. Do I get a self-checkout discount? Previous to my recent discovery of WinCo, I bought staples at Costco and only shopped the BOGOs or loss-leaders at QFC/FredMeyer and Safeway with an occasional emergency visit for a needed item or two. But I think I could do 99% of my shopping at WinCo, get everything I need and still save a significant amount of money. Does anyone know of the connection between WinCo and Midwest-based Cub Foods? The similarities are not coincidental because the signage and layout are identical and unique.

While I was entering my cash, an employee named Tara came up, leaned over, and in an accusatory tone asked if I had entered the water, scrutinizing my screen closely and even putting on her glasses to "inspect" it. When I told her I had and asked if she could check her own screen, Tara became offended and escalated the situation, yelling in front of other customers, "You don't have to be rude, I am just doing my job. I can call a manager." This public humiliation was completely unnecessary. After completing the transaction, I spoke to the store manager on duty, only to be met with a generic "I will talk to her," with no meaningful resolution. This incident raises serious concerns about Winco's self checkout procedures. Customers are already forced to perform cashier duties due to understaffing, and now we are subjected to suspicion and harassment for simply doing their job. Checking for unscanned items is part of an employee's job, yet Tara chose to publicly accuse and yell at a paying customer instead. Winco, this behavior is unacceptable. Self checkout should not come with humiliation, intimidation, or yelling from employees. Your staff needs proper training to treat customers with respect while doing their jobs

It's super convenient and easy to stop by, which makes it part of my routine at this point. One thing I really appreciate is how consistently kind the staff is. Whether I go during the day or later at night, everyone is always friendly and helpful, which makes a big difference. I also feel really safe shopping here, which is something I don't take for granted. The store itself always feels clean and well-kept, and the food options are actually really good. I love browsing their deals too--you can find some great stuff without spending a ton. Overall, it's just a really reliable, positive shopping experience every time I go. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Mill Creek! :D

Their grocery selection is truly excellent - fresh, high-quality, and thoughtfully curated for every kind of dietary need. Whether you're looking for organic produce, clean ingredients, or speciality items, Sprouts always seems to have the perfect fit. The associates are another highlight. They are consistently helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you find exactly what you need. It is refreshing to shop where that feels friendly and genuinely supportive. The location is also fantastic - easy to access, ample parking, and always clean. Shopping there feels effortless. Overall, Sprouts is reliable, uplifting, and well-rounded grocery experience. Highly recommended!

If for any reason you do not like the product, simply return it. They are the friendliest and most helpful team of employees, always willing you help answer or find an idea with a smile! I would be mortified if I ever moved to location where there were no IT'S. I have mailed many, many items to my family in El Paso, TX. I still keep my fingers crossed in hopes that soon, they too will have TRADER JOE'S in EL PASO, TEXAS! Preferably on the Westside! They would make SO much money!

But we timed a mid-afternoon stop today and found tons of stuff. You know they're always great for snacks at good prices, and some percentage of them might not be total sugar-starch bombs. But we got some bad-for-us stuff as a treat. The frozen food is a hit with my lovely bride, though I avoid that hyper-processed stuff as much as possible. We found good hot sauces and wine at great prices. The checker was totally friendly and one of the floaters helped us a ton with our cart situation (my wife needs to use a scooter these days, hopefully not for much longer). I kinda dread the crowds here but a mid-day visit was super pleasant, and you always find good prices on tasty things at TJ's.

This market is farther than Evergreen Asian Market from where I live, but I prefer to stop here…read morefirst for what I need. There is an amazing selection of meat, fish, and vegetables here. Every time I visit, I pick up a fruit or vegetable that I haven't tried before. Today it was a small Korean melon with bright yellow skin. The guys who work the fish counter are personable and knowledgeable. The man who helped us made a good suggestion for the type of fish to use in a soup, and didn't grumble when, near closing, he had to start up the equipment to cut it for us. The parking lot can be busy but I just choose to park farther away from the door. Also, try to go during an off hour--the veggie section (and the store in general) can get crowded. I suggest stopping by the deli section at the front of the store to see what treats are available. Last time I tried a tasty steamed cake wrapped in banana leaf. Another tip is to jump on specials as soon as you see them. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up an entire pack of oxtails for 1.99 a pound. I went back a few days later and they were gone. I still bought oxtails, for up to $2.00 less a pound than other stores. Lastly, double check the expiration dates on prepackaged foods. Every once and a while you'll find one that is past it's prime.

She is literally the reason why I always come back, very kind, sweet and will help you pick the best veggies and fruit! Market seems a little tight but I would say there's always good food there! Highly recommend to swing by, affordable and great selection!

EXTREMELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOOD QUALITY…read more Safeway needs to take food safety seriously. I ordered ground pork for pickup from this location, and when I got home and opened it, I discovered mold growing on it. It's a clear food safety violation that could make someone sick When I returned it, the customer service was appalling: no apology, no concern, and no acknowledgment of how dangerous this is. After I got back home and checked the new package more closely, I realized the expiration date could easily be rubbed off by hand. This makes me wonder if old meat is being cleaned up and given a new date to look fresh. If that's happening, it's not just unacceptable -- it's dangerous and dishonest. Selling spoiled meat is a public health risk, and I question whether this store is following any proper storage or quality.

This store has completely gone downhill and there are people shooting up in the parking lot, I get in my car and there's two people next to me like getting their drugs together and looking like they're ready to party in the grocery store parking lot. The employees won't do anything about it and they don't care. I'm not sure how merging this company with another one is going to fix its current problems, but if they wanna acquire more stores, they need to work on the ones that are existing because this did not look like this at all and I will never come back here again.
