I recently ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. It was a two tiered cake. I was very ecstatic about the cake as I assumed everything turning out great as I thought this was a professional place. However, the presentation of the cake was great at first, but once we cut the cake it did not meet our expectations. I was upset because we paid more than $100 and basically got a "Betty Crocker" strawberry cake. It was literally short from a professional cake and more of an at home cake. The cake layers were not symmetrical where one layer of bread was way thicker than the next, it was not proportioned. Bottom line, if you want to order a cake go to a place that has better ratings and is familiar through someone you know. read more

Full disclosure, we didn't try any of the pastries. Now here is why. They are not a bakery that you can go into and buy a pastry, or a cake, or nothing else. They only take orders for cakes. My wife and I went there thinking it was a bakery and based on some of the pictures and reviews it looked like they sold stuff like a bakery would. When we arrived it was a little room and we looked around and noticed there is no real cakes or cup cakes! Only sample cakes made out of clay (fake), I was going to ask but they were taking so long with the customer, due to the fact that they were cake tasting for an event. We just left! So, if you're looking for a bakery to stop by and pick up some treats to take home, go somewhere else. This is not that type of bakery. read more

If there was an option for ZERO stars, I'd choose that. I contacted this place via Instagram. ALL was settled with order for cupcakes and cookies for granddaughters birthday party on August 18th. (Order was placed on this date) this was to be picked up on Sept 9th. All personal info was given. Asked questions about care as the drive would be 5 hours. Come to find out the Order was NEVER placed!! Today, Sept 9th I am ready to go pick up Order and it was never placed. When asked if it was ready I was told that no Order was entered and most likely its because of the amount of customers they had. Lol... ISNT THAT SUPPOSE TO BE A PLUS??? And who am I? So they cannot understand to take orders NOR can they handle volume. (Voice-mail to confirm this) I definitely wld NOT rely on this place for custom orders or anything for that matter. HIGHLY DISPLEASED! Lack of communication, cannot understand normal messaging. If you're looking for professionalism, THIS IS NOT IT!!! Again, read the thread, never once was money discussed. All info received BUT a deposit was never asked for AND if you read it carefully, you'd realize I was asking for advice. Given the fact I gave a "pickup date". In 2020 I paid for a 3-story quinceañera cake at this bakery and 2 dozen cupcakes, 2 dozen cake pops and 2 dozen cookies all for $ 500 and we had to put the party on hold due to COVID but two weeks ago I called them to make it for me with two floors of fondant and Mrs. Marisa told me that it would cost me $ 600, it seemed too much money just for a cake, without the sweets I no longer included them and I accepted because I had already paid her $ 500 and she was not willing to refund the money.On Saturday, May 15, it was my daughter's quinceañera and what I received was not what I expected, we were embarrassed with the guests because they only tasted the cake and they left it there, nobody could eat it, You couldn't even eat the flowers on the cake, they were like stones and the bread was falling apart, it was as if it had been made from the remaining bread and the taste was horrible. All the cake was thrown away, people left it, they were two flavors but they had no flavor. Horrible what this lady did to my party with that cake, I called her and she told me that that Saturday she had taken 50 orders, I imagine that because she had to take so many orders in one day she did not have the professionalism to make me a cake worth $ 600. From my part I would never recommend it to anyone, do not waste your money with this pastry. read more

I would give them 0 stars if applicable. I arrived to pick up my daughter cupcakes and didn't inspect them felt like i was being rushed out since it was Sunday and they were closing in 25 mins. Upon arriving home which was a short 15 min drive my daughters chocolate cupcakes looked as if someone had scrapped the caps off giving the impression of freshness and the swirls looked nothing like the vanilla ones handed to me. The horns were falling off all the cupcakes and were improperly placed and needed to be readjusted as well as the ears. A picture was shown to the young lady how took my order and said it could be done and looking at other unicorn cupcakes/cakes, i didn't think there'd be a problem... i was wrong... I will never spend a cent at this bakery. This bakery came recommended and had good reviews & supposedly had schooling from Le Cordon Bleu but this is the worst experience for a 10 year old ever. My first cake was a Nightmare before Christmas cake for my birthday! (Halloween baby here!) And I had a small vision and asked them to be creative and they did an amazing job! Last Halloween I asked for a Guardians of the Galaxy birthday cake themed to the attraction at Disneyland and she did an amazing job with all that detail and color scheme! I also ordered an engagement cake and the flavors, color schemes, decorations, and the way the cakes look visually are stunning! Will keep ordering cakes here! It can be "pricey" but butter cream, and fondant ain't cheap!!! And plus all that labor and details that goes on those cakes!!! read more

I've ordered 4 cakes from this shop and they never disappoint! I take a picture and an idea and they work with me! I am NOT A fondant lover so the substitute for me is butter cream which is amazing! The thing about fondant cakes is that they are so processed and usually the cake is not moist anymore BUT here they actually are! I had to order a fondant cake once for my godson! i was so disappointed when i bought a mother's day cake from this place at a last minute decision. i will never ever come back to this bakeshop after we found a long brown hair inside the cake. we were so disgusting. with this pandemic, they should be using hairnets, gloves, mask if they havent yet but because of this poor hygiene and the price is expensive for the cake, it is not worth it. i'd like to get my money back if that is possible. however, i dont think i will get my money back. will donate it to them but this place left us with a very bad impression overall. poor hygiene of workers, cake didnt taste good. the cake was hard, and price is high. so i am leaving 1 star. we should have took a pix of the hair found in the cake but we forgot. nevertheless, there will be no next time. read more

I ordered a mickey mouse cake and a smash cake. Marissa was always friendly and professional. I ordered a red velvet cake and oreo cake for our main 2 layer cake. The cake visually looked amazing. When it was time for taste I was disappointed that there wasnt enough filling and it was a bit dry.However, I loved the rice Krispy. It was sweet. Overall for pictures and all it came out good and the price was reasonable. I just wished there was more cream cheese filling for the red velvet cake. Her alfajores are delicious I just wished her cake taste the same as her alfajores.
