Meal with a view from MARISOL restaurant beachside!

Excellent restaurant in open air, so lots of ambiance. Beach and ocean views from any table. Who doesn't want to eat breakfast or lunch with soft southeast breezes gently blowing? Service is excellent as are all the restaurants on the Boca Raton properties! Q

Marisol's at the Boca Beach club is very elegant. You can visit the restaurant if you are staying at the hotel Or if you are a member of the Boca Raton Club Or if you are invited to dinner by a member. 5 Star Dining with a Mediterranean menu right on the beach Birthday Dinner party of 12, all the food was amazing as expected for this caliber of hospitality.

Incredible experience at Marisol! The ambience is 10/10 and seating is well spaced out to create a calming experience. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have a severe dairy allergy and Chef Alberto himself came out to understand and provide recommendations around what we can eat. Too kind! The food was fresh, well portioned, and appropriately seasoned.

I liked almost everything including taking the Water Taxi over to this barrier island on east side of Lake Boca Raton from our hotel room at The Boca Raton. Once at The Boca Raton Beach Club it is a short walk to Mirasol. Had reservations so sat poolside and observed operation of the Hostess desk for awhile. When a Hostess left the desk a burly guy, an employee, dressed like a manager came to the host touching his nose then pushing buttons on the Hostess desk iPad then touching his nose some more then putting his hands down with force onto the actual Hostess desk as he reviewed Reservations for the night. Oh, well. We were there on a hot Thursday 6/22/23 evening. The table was set up so lovely and overlooked the Ocean which was visible through a patch of sea oats. This place really makes one feel alive no matter what you order. Picture perfect. In comes our server in nautical boating type attire- navy trousers, nautical belt, short sleeves on a crisp white shirt, and, while I'm not sure about the shoes ... I would venture to guess the shoes were Sperry Topsider boat shoes. By this time it feels like being in a movie and living the dream. I had choice of 2 Dips. Our waiter recommended this feta-pine nut dip over the Eggplant dip so I made sure to order the feta dip along with beet dip. The dips-a starter- came out w/ both Lavash & grilled, hot pita points. Amazing! According to the menu, there is also a 3-dip sampler! Catch of the Night was RED SNAPPER, a personal favorite, and fresh BRONZINI. Both sounded great but in the end I went with the BRONZINI! It fit nicely on the plate and wasn't the huge huge portion I sort of feared it would be. Stated another way, the portion size was "just right" for a lady. Just right for anyone. It had seasoned, charred Skin still on it which was easy to push back where the flesh of my bronzini could be had. Heavenly as it was served with Greek SKORDALIA (pressed and pureed Garlic pieces with potato). It looked like mashed potatoes with my fish on the fish plate but, in reality, I was eating Classic Greek SKORDALIA. You'll want to order a bottle of wine with your meals! And know an outdoor tiki bar is on-site only a few steps away. Charged to the hotel room with 20% gratuity automatically added to the bill. You may tip extra if you like. Outstanding!

Your Average brunch. What you would expect to find. Nothing to rave over but also no complaints. Servers are attentive and lovely.

The lighting is dim and the sofas are beautiful. There is a red piano on the other side that just looks so regal. We sat at the bar and were quickly taken care of. They have a great variety of cocktails to choose from and some bites as well if you're feeling hungry. I went with the red eye espresso martini and it was amazing. It tasted like chocolate! The combo of Licor 43 and espresso is delish! Highly recommend. It was a Sunday night so there wasn't too many people, but the bartender did tell us they play live music on Fridays and Saturdays and that is when there is a bigger crowd. We will be going back soon!

I absolutely loved it! I enjoyed the atmosphere with Frank Sinatra on the walls and how beautiful and great the vibes were. The staff were very friendly and checked up on us a lot. Maybe it's quieter outside but those tables are right next to the street. We had to yell to hear each other. Our server Sebastian was so pushy and constantly upselling us. As soon as we sat down, he asked whether we wanted still or sparkling water, but that question should always have 3 options: still, sparkling, or tap? He then recommended the signature omakase, the most expensive thing on the menu. When he came back to take our order, he made a big pitch of today's rib special. When my husband ordered the 8-piece nigiri, he pushed us to upgrade to the 12-piece option. As we were eating, he asked us what else we wanted to order. We ordered $130 of food for 2 people...seriously? We hadn't even finished yet to gauge if we were still hungry. I know that tips are a percentage of the bill, but you would've thought this kid was getting a commission on top of his tip or something. It rubbed us the wrong way. The tuna crispy rice was $5 per piece and the rice was weirdly chewy. Wouldn't order it again. The nigiri were the highlight of the meal. Each piece felt balanced and the sushi rice was good. We ordered 3 rolls: toro toro, scallop, and yellowtail. All were forgettable and expensive for what they were. The yellowtail roll was bland, which is probably why there's a chili ponzu sauce to go with it because otherwise all you can taste is pear, which isn't a flavor I'm looking for in sushi. We ended our meal with scallop tacos, which were good but microscopic and pricey ($17 for 2 tacos). Each one is a bite and a half. It took a while to flag down Sebastian for the bill, so we were stuck in the din of the restaurant for longer than we liked. If the restaurant's filling up, wouldn't you want to turn our table and seat new guests? My husband made a note on the res that it was my birthday, but it was ignored. Maybe we would've had a better experience with a different waiter, but this was a disappointing meal and service.
