a plate of food on a table

The ceviche was awful the chicken in the fajitas was like a piece of rubber over cook onions and bell peppers, looks good but hopefully taste the same. My congratulations for the person make the rice that was very good, and for the waitress, outstanding service.

Ceviche sample (sooo good) we'd already dug into it

Only place near me that serves Aguaschiles(raw shrimp marinated in lime juice and green or red salsa) and it is deeeeeeelicious!!!! All of their seafood is so gooood! Huge place with lots of seating and even valet parking! We are here on a Friday and they have live music too!!! They serve Mexican and seafood dishes. Salsa and chips are served at the beginning and the salsa is hot and fresh! They have aguas frescas, sodas and a full service bar too. Because it's huge service speed can vary but it's mostly good. Try this place if you're hankering for real Mexican style seafood. Ceviche, fried shrimp and fish or grilled however you want.

La Marea in Oak Cliff is a large venue. On weekends it is very busy. However, the wait was not a problem. They have a large stage for performers on the weekends. This place is ideal if you want to invite a group of 10 or more out to eat because seating is usually doable. The food is average, a 3/5. Also, for a busy night, the food takes a while to come out since there's over 100 people they serve. They have a large bar, and many alcoholic beverages to choose from. It is family friendly, and the staff is great too! If you get there by or before 7PM you could probably beat the wait times. It does get very busy on weekends, but there's plenty of parking and complimentary valet. Pros: -Large restaurant -Good for entertainment (music/performers) -Good for big parties -Family friendly -Parking -Staff personality Cons: -Food quality not the best for some choices -Prices don't compliment the food quality -Noisy I probably would not come again since I did not enjoy my order of fried shrimp, it was a little cold and not very flavorful. Overall, the food is average. Staff is great, ambiance is casual and family friendly.

Went in a Friday night, super busy place. This place is huge they need alot more wait staff. We waited an hour for our food. The waitress was so slow. We ordered shrimp coctel and shrimp agua chllies. Let me tell y'all the shrimp agua chilles are super hot which I ask the waitress if they were spicy and she said the red sauce is but the green is not. So I order the green one, well I can handle spicy food but these were beyond spicy that left my mouth and lips burning afterwards. They have live music which was good. My hubby said the service was horrible he won't be back again.

    Cute blue restaurant

If you're looking for delicious cheap eats then Mariscos La Marea is the place for you. You can't miss the restaurant when you're driving by because it's bright blue. Dinner started out with the classic chips and salsa. The chips were thick and the salsa was hearty. It was on the mild side so I kicked it up with the hot sauces available. Each table had 5 bottles of different hot sauces. I was impressed. Not one brand was left out (except Sriracha but it's a Mexican joint so I shouldn't expect it here). I ordered the whole fried tilapia ($10.99) and a 1/2 dozen of decked out oysters. The fried tilapia was really good and moist. The fish wasn't extremely large so I was able to finish it cleanly. The fish came with an avocado topped salad, Mexican rice, and fries. The rice and fries were an afterthought. I've never had ceviche topped oysters before and I didn't care for this version. The raw onions overpowered the oysters so I couldn't really taste the oysters. It did look impressive with all the seafood toppings. I saw others get this combination clay pot dish that looked amazing. It look hefty and everything was grilled. I'm coming back and getting that next time.

They banged the whole time , which we didn't know it was them until we opened the door. There was five of us, and once we opened up the door, they were telling us to watch our mouths because I yelled at them asking did they work there , obviously confused what was going on. They then decided to kick us out because we had too many people in the restroom. I only got one of the security guards name his name is Anthony another man in his 40s who had an accent decided to put his hands on me and push me. We were all so confused why we were getting kicked out. I will never be going back! That is absolutely insane. We did not take a long time either and they said it was gonna take too long if we all went together, which makes no sense. We took MAYBEEE 5 to 7 minutes in the restroom. The owner needs to get a grip on his security guards. Especially the ones that look like their on drugs sneaking people in from the back and the one man who put his hands on me for absolutely no reason!!! BEWARE LADIES: You cannot go to the bathroom with anyone or you will get kicked it and man handled !!!

It's definitely more delightfully eclectic and kitschy than neighborhoods around Downtown Dallas or East Dallas. Atlas has a funky lounge design that is warm, inviting and screams that you made it out of the house so you're ready to rage. They always have great energy in their music, creative cocktail menu, and food. I had a tasty Sidecar variation called Between Da Sheets (photo 2). They added rum to the classic recipe of cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice. The rum gave it a bit of a vacationy feel which was nice. It was well-balanced and quite tasty. We highly recommend checking out Atlas next time you're in Bishop Arts and want an elevated cocktail in one of the funkiest spaces in Dallas. Do it!!! Salute @thejohnnycocktail

I visited this past Saturday 6/26 around 6pm to catch up with a friend during what I thought was their happy hour. Despite visiting on a Saturday for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was parking available in the adjacent small parking lot! There's also limited free curbside parking available nearby. Instead of happy hour, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Tiny Victories hosts Saturday summer daytime parties INCLUDING drink specials called "The Darty"! Usually with a DJ whom flaked last minute on this particular day. There was also a piercer from Bold Stroke (on 831 W Jefferson Blvd) offering $20 piercings (cash/Zelle) when usually her shop does them for $60! My friend and I took advantage of this. Their drink specials included: Miami Vice $7 - rum, strawberry, coconut, citrus blend Sweet, fruity, tame. Bingo Mango $7 - tequila, aperol, prosecco, mango, lime, tajin Sweet, fruity (with a real mango taste), bold, frozen. I loved Tiny Victories before but love it more even now. Despite narrowing their still incredible happy hour window, they still offer fun community events with drink specials to keep customers coming back. That being said, I will definitely return and continue to put my friends on!
