    SHRIMP TEMPURA ROLL

A place with a big menu and definitely family style seafood was great delicious had different types of ceviche along with traditional Mexican plates. There was live music and vendors outside with homemade artistry. our overall service was good. Definitely busy on a Sunday so prepared to be in a bit of a weight depending on the size of of your group.

Paso la catapizzia diria Chabelo!!! Okay, where should I start ... Fisrt and LAST time here, for sure! If I could give this place a 0 star I would. Service: not so good, just lack of experience and attention to the client. They need training. Also they are overwhelmed with so much people. Food: fish was really good BUT overpriced and over fried. Meet was too dry. The Mariscos were fine but not awesome, lack of flavor... the Sopa de Mariscos that I forgot to take a pic, had the type of fake crab that tastes like rubber... horrible. Soup with no flavor either. Drinks: my michelada was horrible served with warm beer. I asked for a tarugo that never arrived and on top was charged for. My friends mango colada was overly sweet. Prices: They charge you to even breathe, walk and sit in there. Food is overpriced and can't ask for extra leave of mint or anything without an additional cost. Parking: SUCKS ... good luck finding a spot on weekends Environment: HORRIBLE!!!! the music is ridiculously LOUD! You can't even have a conversation, literally feels like a damn bar. A lot of drunk males hanging at the bar area. Ladies if you can say so, look like freaking hookers. Its like latino community just go there as a night club during weekends. Not a friendly and family oriented. Avoid bringing kids. Weekends are very very crowed! Avoid sitting by restroom area... although this where I got to experience the type of people that come to this place. More than one band ! Also a trio walks around offering individual song request... the music is also not pleasant! Loud Banda and corridos, etc... y soy de mero Mazatlán Sinaloa!!! Soooo me se de todas a todas Literalmente, es como ir al penche burdel del 7. Gross! No recomendado para las familia!!! Es un asco de lugar.

Very disappointed. Denver isn't known for great food but you usually can't go wrong with Mexican. I got chicken fajitas with barely can chicken and it literally had no taste, and oddly the chicken was cooked tomatoes which wasn't specified on their menu. Waste of $20 and will not be going back unfortunately

Thursday special. Any filet platter for $9.99. I had the filet al mojo de ajo. It was really flavorful. The portion was great with fries, rice and salad. Happy hour draft beers are $3 pints until 6pm. A great value.

Met some work friends here for dinner and drinks. Loved the live music, loud yes, but great! Drinks were very good too. Food was good, lots of seafood on the menu (hence the name).

Came across this place when I noticed a long line out the door when driving by. First thing to know is that this is a seafood restaurant with super fresh ingredients. I went with a group and here are the highlights of what we ordered. - Fish Ceviche - Shrimp with Special Spicy Sauce (Camarones Cucarachos) - Guacamole - Oysters - Shrimp Trio - Pineapple, Shrimp, Steak, Chicken Fajitas (Fajipiña) The Fish Ceviche, Spicy Shrimp, and the Shrimp Trio were my favorites. Such high quality and fresh seafood, which can be tough to find in this landlocked state. I was floored by the Spicy Shrimp. Probably the best shrimp I've had in Denver. They come whole and are 100% worth the trouble of peeling each one. I would pass on the oysters though. They are huge but lack flavor. I'll definitely be back and will probably order a plate of the shrimp just for myself!

Amazing food, amazing service. Visited from California and didn't think Denver had good mexican food. I was completely WRONG. This is amazing Mariscos!

Restaurant, music too loud, food not good

Going to this place for a birthday party wasn't a good a idea. Music was too loud, we can't talk each other even if the other person is in front of you. I know the place it's specialty is seafood, some of us ordered carne asada, and what a surprise... carne was cold and looks bad an not a good flavor. My brother ordered oysters and bad taste. The only plates that i could say was ok, fried fish.

This is the Michelin restaurant that you go to if you like a more casual / less stuffy experience. Food: 4 Every dish that we ordered was delicious, but slightly on the heavy side without anything light/acidic to break it up. Perhaps it's because of what we chose to order though! Frijoles Puerco: This was a play on refried beans and chorizo. The chorizo has a little kick to it. The sourdough tortillas were delicious and served fresh and warm. Callo De Hacha Al Horno: The scallops were a flavor bomb served in a serrano ponzu and tomato butter. I'm unsure why the scallops were cut into smaller pieces instead of left whole... Enmoladas De Pollo: This was essentially chicken enchiladas cooked in mole so I was skeptical if I would find this dish worthwhile. They proved me wrong as this was one of the best dishes of the night. The mole was flavorful, not too heavy, and the chicken enchilada was so well cooked. Birria De Borrego: The lamb shank was cooked until it was fork tender. After taking it apart, wrap it in a fresh and warm tortilla with refried corn beans and salsa. The lamb was well cooked and made for a good balanced bite, but it did feel special. Service: 5 We set at the chef table and was able to watch as they finished and plated each dish. The chef was attentive without being overbearing/annoying and we had a good conversation with him. Food came out at a good pace. Ambiance: 5 The restaurant is small and cozy. It didn't feel stifling or pretentious as other fine dining restaurants can sometimes feel. This would be perfect for a date or dinner with friends.

Others in my party might not have felt that way. But nonetheless they enjoyed the entire experience. It felt like everything we ate (at first) was pretty spicy. But by the end, the spice level was coming down. Some of the highlights, the sweet potato, the sourdough tortilla with the chorizo burrito. The scallops. The cod. The birria. The mushroom quesadilla. So, pretty much all of it! I enjoyed everything that I ate! I'm interested to come back for happy hour, since they have a few different plates on that menu. For dinner, I'll keep it reserved for special occasions. Try and get a reservation, I think you'll enjoy yourself, if you appreciate craft cuisine. Good job, Alma Fonda Fina Team!

Looking at taco places, I went with something close by to our location and found this hidden gem. Nestled away on a small street corner of Clay Street and 32nd Ave. parking can be scarce, but I'm sure with the right time and a little bit of walking you will find and manage your way here. Outside the restaurant, they have a small seating area which now is winter too cold to enjoy, but I'm sure in the spring and summer and fall time is super enjoyable. The inside, though a little bit tiny and no cozier than going to your mom's house and expecting a family Filled living room/Kitchen. We went down and greeted by three smiling faces. We already looked at the photos online and knew we want tacos so opted with the chicken tacos and Carne Asada taco plates. The tacos place option came with 5 tacos with up to 2 choices of meats the ratio would be 2:3 .. freshly mashed guacamole made in front of you or freshly sliced avocado.. In the pictures I listed you will find each chicken and Carne Asada options. Both slow pictures missing two tacos because we devoured them as soon as we got into the truck. Their street tacos are heavenly! Chicken option was all chicken breast super juicy grilled to perfection five tacos on a plate another two tacos missing because my husband and I devoured it. This plate came we asked it with the guacamole option instead of fresh avocado. The carne asada was just FULL of flavor and the fresh avocado slices with green tomatillo salsa SLAPPED.. the tortillas are super soft and tears from how fresh the flour tortillas were!!
