Tostada Campechana & Tostada Aguachile Verde

I get a little nervous trying seafood here in Denver, since we are land locked, but coming from Cali I get serious seafood cravings so I decided to risk it. I was pleasantly surprised! For starters they give free chips & salsa, and that's the first good sign of any Mexican restaurant! To drink I got a Michelada Especial with Negra Modelo, super refreshing! For food I got a Tostada Aguachiles Verdes (shrimp with a spicy green sauce) and a Tostada Campechana (mixture of seafood) and they were both delicious. The tostadas come with plenty of food stacked on. The ambience was also great! They do have music bumping and an occasional trio or group that comes in to play for tips! I personally love that, everything is very lively with a friendly staff!

First time here. The place isn't big but able to hold a party. For two dishes from here. Seafood. I love seafood and I would say I like it here. Except the fish in the dish. The price is reasonable and would come back to try other dishes. There are alcohol beverages and parking lot.

One of a kind restaurant with whimsical ocean decor made this place memorable. We shared a mango frozen margarita, which was delicious, but maybe on the weaker side. Their menu has large a selection of seafood and come in large plates so bringing friends is highly encouraged for sharing. I had their ceviche, which was particularly good because of the balance of flavors. It was still delicious the next day for leftovers. It's a lot of food so plan on taking your time to eat or taking some home. Looking around, their other customers looked like families and regulars. My friend says they have another location and the food there is even better.

I ordered the Molcajete Campechano, it was so amazing! The michelada especial was surprisingly good as well. I will definitely come eat here again. If your looking for authentic Mexican seafood (mariscos) this is the place to come.

My vietnamese blood cannot be picky about thìs place. We live 10 min from Asia central in federal and food here hands down beat most of our favorites. We ordered 1) clay pot fish (bone in). Huge portion. Worth it. And the flavor is authentic. 2) shaken beef. Tender. 3) to go salad combo. Even good the next day 4) bun Bo vermicelli. My hub said the best in Denver he had and he had a few 5) lotus wonton. My picky toddler liked it. 6) lemonade lychee. They were so sweet even gave my 2 yo extra lychee when I asked so she can behave in her chair Overall highly recommend. Wish they were closer to us but it's a great place

It's been a long time coming but Dan Da is hands down my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Colorado…read moreand probably in the US. When you think of Vietnamese, Americans tend to think of Pho, noodle bowls and lemongrass chicken but we need more places the focuses in home cooking and dishes that locals eat. Ingredients are fresh and dishes pack a powerful flavor bomb...I mean wow! The use of shrimp paste and other traditional ingredients really elevate flavors that many Americans are not used to, but you have to try it to understand. Their claypots are a must order and with a side of rice....you'll be eating for days! The star of the night was the pork and calamari claypot which is cooked in shrimp paste and your favorite Vietnamese spices and herbs. You'll finish bowls of rice with this dish, it packs so much flavor that you'll be wanting more. It's a great mix of salty, sweet and umami from the fermented shrimp paste. The Vietnamese curry was thick and packed with succulent shrimp. The veggies at a very nice brightness to balance out the coconut milk. The last dish we had was a shrimp lemon grass in the clay pot and that was also a hit with everyone! Service is amazing and they definitely know how to recommend dishes to match your taste buds. They went out of the way to help everyone and it shows. If you need a new spot, check Dan Da!

Our server, Malik, was so professional, courteous, engaging, gave us great suggestions and our meal experience was even better with him as our server! We ordered the Happy Hour cocktails of lemon drop martinis and a regular martini. Ordered a half-dozen of the Pearl oysters and they were so yummy, we ordered another half-dozen. Well-presented and delicious! We then ordered the Nantucket Risotto (only been on the menu for 2 weeks), the Blue Island Diver's Platter (ask for the octopus), a Happy Hour Crispy Slider and Fish Taco. We combined this with a glass of white wine and red wine. The meal was absolutely fabulous and we then finished this spectacular meal with sharing a key lime pie. Once again, Malik made this meal even better with his genuine smile, attentiveness and efficiency. Make sure you sign up for their Loyalty Rewards program and they offer a great inexpensive weekday 3-course Power Lunch.

Went in on Saturday night for the late night oyster deal…read more The service has been hit or miss. Sometimes it's good other times absolutely terrible. I will say for the oyster deal it has been good, but sometimes the oysters aren't cleaned well. Again a hit and miss. The ambiance is nice and soothing, very ocean blue. We have also tried some sides and other entrees. The shrimp entree was good but lacked some salt. The burger was amazing with the bacon jam and always have the best shoestring fries. I also got an order of the crispy rice that has a salmon and a tuna. The salmon was way too sweet and had a fishy aftertaste that I disliked. The truffle tuna was definitely the better one of the two. However, the rice itself was absolutely mushy and not necessarily crispy. It also didn't have the best flavor. Desserts tried were the olive oil orange cake and the brownie. both are OK and nice and sweet, but not something I would spend money on Overall, truly think this place is a hit and miss. Just depends on the night.
