From the outside, it had a unique outer decor with a sea theme to fit for the variety of seafood that they sell. The menu is massive. I couldn't read most of it which was fine since I'm allergic to shellfish so most items are eliminated. I ordered the smothered burrito and it was quite good. It's huge but comes with enough of everything. The taco was also tasty. I enjoyed the large slice of avocado. The fries were just okay. They were pretty soft but the chicharrones were good. The focus of most dishes here is on shrimp and heat. Yes, it's a little hole in the type of place, but the portions are huge and prepared from scratch. Delicious! This is one of my go to spots On Havana Street. Never disappoints and the portions are so generous. My favorite recommendations are the # 8 Camarones a la Diabla #114 carnitas #41 Camarones fiesta (shrimp trio) any of the tostadas and ceviche options. After 11/20/2020 with no dine in they installed giant menu boards at each parking stall so you can park, phone in your order and then they deliver the meal to your car. Ambiance is that of a diner but service is great, the staff is friendly, and the menu extensive. We had mojarra frito and bacon wrapped shrimp, both were excellent. Many fellow patrons ordered the 7 Mares caldo and it looked very good so we will come back to try it. read more

I was craving fish tacos. My husband wanted carnitas. I had grilled fish taco...unbelievably good. And I added ceviche tostadas as I was really wanting fresh fish. I was so pleased I chose this place...the food was so delicious and fresh. there are so many Mexican food options in Aurora. We walked in and the place was packed with all the locals....always a good sign at 1:45 on Sunday. The menu was primarily in Spanish, which makes sense in the area, but some English, too. This was stop 1 on a taco tour the other day. The staff were all very friendly once I got my hands on the English menu. The menu is deep in options, but if you can't read Spanish looking at the board menu even with pictures isn't going to make you select your meal any faster. I shared the 4 taco plate and they accommodated our request for 2 chicken and 2 steaks. Both really good and loaded with meat. This ran $8 with tax. First stop on the Taco Tour was El Camaron Loco. What a great first stop. I felt the menu has a little overwhelming, so big with lots of options. Once I was able to really look at the menu I decided on the Mahi Mahi taco's. What a wonderful decision on my part. Perfectly cooked mahi with some fresh tomato's, onions, cilantro, avocado and a squeeze of citrusy lime these were to die for. I would order these every time, if I didn't want to try the rest of the menu. It's a must try. We also were able to try a sample of the fish ceviche and this could definitely be the next order. If you want to try amazing food and you like fish I highly recommend the fish ceviche, it had the perfect kick to the end and I could eat a bowl of that. If your looking for great Mexican food you must try El Camaron Loco, you never know we might have another taco tour to include this place again when we have better weather. read more

The lady upfront that has bn working there for a very long time has no customer service skills. We tried asking questions about the menu and she wouldn't even look at my face completely ignoring me with the worst attitude, so I asked again and she answer with short words and again no eye contact or any attention to customer service she gave me the total wen I was trying to explain how I wanted my meal. I used to live rite up the street and will eat there very often until one time she made my experience a living hell and now that I live 15 miles away I made a special trip to eat their food and thanks again for a shity experience AGAIN! I think is not all in the food they serve, they should have a friendly environment and not an intimidating attitude so you can hurry order and get out of the place . My first visit here was on my third taco tour - just a couple of weeks ago and then again today. the food I had the first time was so very tasty and I couldn't wait to get back there. This has been moved to the top of my list for places close to work. The staff is very friendly and the food is fresh and very, very tasty. For the tacos they don't skimp on the meat. The Cameron Cerviche is some of the best that I have ever had. Large pieces of shrimp and not the least bit fishy tasting, fresh onions, tomatoes and cilantro. The crazy shrimp has an equally crazy twin on the East side of town that became stop number 1 on the not-taco truck tour for the day. Since the taco truck tour got derailed, I decided to go with things that weren't exactly tacos, which meant it was tostado time. Specifically, tostadas de ceviche mixto y tostadas de ceviche pescado. I loved them both, tart, tangy, fresh, tender, with smack of salt and a hint of spice, these tostadas were delish. I'm a big fan of the original camaron loco on Federal so I thought I would stick with one of the same dishes here that we normally order there. I got the filete de pescado (which I think at the other store is called filete empanizado) and it was good. The breading might be slightly heavier at this location but still fairly light and cooked just right. The rice w/ baby shrimp side and the salad with avocado are just the right additional touch. Hit it with the El Yucateco rojo or verde hot sauce and you're good to go. Tiny bathroom, but the rest of the space is bigger (and cleaner, but the west side store isn't bad) than the west side store. And this is another go to spot on the east side for us now.
