Went on a Sunday lunch. Not busy. Seated immediately and staff was very quick to respond. Even though we had a waitress, the whole team that would walk by would always check-in to see if we need anything. Very kind people! Food was really good and fresh. Generous portions so make sure you go hungry. Restaurant was clean with some modern decor. I would go again to try more food items because their menu is very large. I write "wow" a lot, so I'm going to throw in wow, wow, wow, so you'll know that this restaurant would get more than five stars if I could give it more. My family and I loved our entire experience. Service was so attentive and helpful, from start to finish. Our food was incredible. And we couldn't get enough of the party vibe--lively and fun. We ordered the ceviche especial, coco relleno, and molcajete de Malecon for two. It was a gorgeous and scrumptious feast. All the dishes were huge! Definitely perfect for sharing. The ceviche was bright and fresh. They were also very generous with the amount of seafood. Coco relleno consisted of assorted seafood served in a coconut shell, with the sauce made from coconut milk! This dish was a stunner, and it tasted as good as it looked. The proteins served in the molcajete had the right amount of saltiness and fattiness--a great choice if you're looking for something more decadent. While they have "mariscos" or seafood in their name, this restaurant also excels at meat dishes; another family member got carne asadas to go and loved it. If you still want to stick with seafood, then you might want to give their versions of sushi a try (ginormous and mostly cooked). Or you could try the photogenic seafood tower. Yum! This is the first time and last time to visit this place I order the carne asada in medium rare. It took only a couple of minutes once it arrived the cucumber was just like in the drink old like if it was left in the refrigerator for a couple of days, the seasoning for the carne asada had the seafood seasoning and was well done. The entire plate seemed like the entire plate was recycled from the food that was left over last night. The service was not the best the server did not seem friendly or caring with the concerns. My wife order the shrimp and octopus botana and the food had the same seasoning and the carne asada as if it was cooked in the same pot. She ate it and hopefully was fresh and hopefully she does not get sick. We got 3 different servers and we waited over 10 minutes for the check. This seems like a salón or a pub and will not recommend it specially if you plan to bring your kids here they have lot of people just drinking on tables mostly older man. We ordered the grilled octopus and unfortunately it was chewy, super tough to eat and they didn't care when we mentioned it, we were just told they would tell the chef. Price of the dish $58.00 USD. The place is weird. You walk in and feel like you are in a caribbean restraunt. The menu has mostly shrimp and octopus (and mostly both in all dishes). It is mexican/sushi/ and we saw someone eating fetticini so theres that. The service was bad and we were there over 2 hours (not because we wanted to be). We watch the bar tender pour a shot of tequila, it sit on the bar for an hour and the bartender pour it back in the bottle.
