Food was good maybe a 3.8/4. We were the only ones in there. The place wasn't noticeably dirty but it definitely needs a deep clean. Food came out pretty quick, and although it wasn't the most flavorful food I would try again.

Tried this place tonight after reading about it on Yelp's top 100, though It is listed as a different name on there or has changed it since the list. Service was great and attentive. Very friendly and offered lots of recommendations of their favs which I always appreciate. Went with the popular carne asada fries and the chicken, Birria and carne asada. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. I do think it is kinda hard to find good street tacos in the DMV area so was very happy to find some really flavorful and obviously marinated meat for each of the ones I got. Need to come back to try so many other menu items As far as ambiance it is your kind of hole in the wall type of place but in a good way and not a scary way haha. I do wish they served beer or wine, but oh well guess I don't need a beer with my street tacos haha. Do yourself the favor and make the trip to try!

Yum birria tacos and ramen! Eli's Taqueria opened about a month ago, and for those who are NoVA foodies, yes they are in the spot where NoNos Taqueria was. But we are here to talk about Eli's Taqueria. They are a no frills, "hole in the wall" stop for tacos, specifically birria tacos. Slow cooked beef bathed in consumme broth, wrapped in warm cheese and a crunch outer shell. Yum. I was also thrilled to see they had birria ramen as well as I've found this dish hard to come by. Service was quick, and food was delicious. 4/5 as I felt the tacos could have had a extra spoonful of meat for that wowfactor. Can't wait to see how this new business fares out!

Phenomenal tacos and great people. Came here to get some birria from Noños, only to discover Noños was no longer operating here. Stuck around to see how this new place was and... wow. As a recent NOVA transplant from South Texas, I've struggled to find good tacos here. This place is phenomenal, just as good as any place you'll find in south Texas or So-Cal, and the star dish is anything with asada. The asada is beautifully seared and seasoned, and they add a generous portion whether on the tacos or the fries. I've already come twice in their first week opening. The Birria is also excellent. Service-wise, the person running the front (I think her name is Alex) is so sweet and friendly. Makes it all the easier to come back.

Aurora was such a sweetheart made us feel right at home with her charm, very patient with us as we figured out what to eat given it was our first time. The food, the food was great came out hot and steamy, taste buds gave the Chicken tacos/Shrimp tacos and the Birria tacos all a pass a thumbs up We will definitely be coming back again next time for the Carne Asada fries !!! This is my go to stop when I'm craving Pupusas. I used to order from their food truck, Taqueria La Ceibita on Columbia Pike. I was very excited when I learned that they had opened a brick and mortar right down the street as well. Both are still in operation. We have tried all of the pupusa flavors, and all of them are really good, but my favorites are the Revuelta, and Frijol com Queso. On my most recent visit, I tried their Esquites for the first time. The flavors were all there, but I do prefer my corn to have more crunch and a char to it, still good though. I also tried their Queso Birria taco. The flavor of the taco is good, and I appreciate the fact that they automatically provide you with a small consommé. They have a large dining room if you would like to eat in, but you can also order takeout. Their full menu is available online. Everything is made to order. Very small parking lot, kind of tough to get in and out of, but there is also street parking if you can find a spot.

I was in the patio with friends, in the corner, not bothering anyone -- not fighting, not yelling, not approaching strangers. Security walked up, said there was "a complaint," refused to say who it was from, refused to say what it was about, refused to let me talk to the manager, and refused to even let me back inside to grab my own card. My friends asked him to stop. He ignored them. This is the second time their security has unfairly targeted me. The first time I had just stepped outside to take a phone call. The same guard ran after me and started accusing me of stealing -- but couldn't say what was supposedly stolen or who had complained, because nobody actually had. I told him my laptop and jacket were inside at the bar and that all the bartenders know me. He eventually apologized once it became obvious he had nothing. Same guy, same pattern, different night. Also worth knowing: my friend and I had just ordered around $100 in food and drinks at the end. Nothing finished. No refund offered, no apology, no manager. If management thinks letting one guard humiliate paying customers in front of their friends is good for business, here's your feedback. Plenty of better pubs in Arlington that actually respect the people
