    Carne asada taco

Wow!! So I have been on the hunt to find a place that has good authentic Mexican street tacos since I moved the the DMV without much luck, but this place may be a hidden gem! First: the service was great! I explained that I've been disappointed by the Mexican food scene in the area and that I typically only get one taco at a time to try a new place out. They usually only serve 2 tacos at a time but they were kind enough to make an exception for me try! I super appreciated them letting me buy one at time, very kind! Second: I was pleasantly surprised! The meat was fresh and tender. Not super oily which I have seen at other spots! Lightly seasoned so it's not over powering the meat and it's still allowed to shine. Good call on the two tortillas and onions and cilantro on top. Another important factor was how much meat they put on the taco, it's important not to skimp out or else you're stuck eating more tortilla than the actual taco and I think they did a good job filling it up. I think a potential idea to really level it up would be to get some guacamole salsa that typically comes with street tacos! Overall, I am definitely coming back and bringing my friends with me! I'll have to update as I keep working my way thru the menu but this place shows promise which I'm excited about! Keep up the good customer service and the great quality!

Stopped at this food truck while visiting D.C. The staff were very friendly! We got a pastor quesadilla, a chorizo burrito, and an asada burrito. The burritos very very big, and the tortillas they used were excellent! They came with two types of sauces and were filled with rice, some lettuce, and I believe crema. The quesadilla was good as well, it had four pieces, and came with some veggies, hot sauces, and crema. Definitely worth stopping if you're looking for burritos!

Great Tacos and alternatives for those who don't eat meat. My kids also love it and want to stop by every time we see it!

Convenient Mexican food truck in between Court House and Rosslyn. I have walked by it many times, but my friends and I stopped by this past Tuesday evening to grab a quick dinner. They have a variety of tacos (asada, lengua, chorizo, pastor, etc.) for about 3-4 per taco (I think depending on the type of meat) as well as burritos, tortas, quesadillas, and drinks. One of my friends have stopped by this food truck pretty often and raved about their tortas, so most of us ended up getting one. In the future, I'd have to come back to try their tacos. ASADA / GRILLED STEAK TORTA - 15 These tortas weren't that big, but it was indeed very filling. The bread was definitely grilled and toasted with butter for that extra flavor. There was plenty of grilled steak which was well-seasoned and the avocado, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo topped it off perfectly. The verde salsa was the cherry on top and I finished the whole thing and could use another one, tbh. If you're health conscious, I wouldn't recommend a torta though. This is a cheat meal kind of option. Overall, great stop for a quick dinner in the area. We were very stuffed and happy.

Really excellent tacos, but it will take a while Good things are worth the wait. The steak and shrimp tacos were excellent. I would Definitely eat here again!

The tacos here were amazing! I got the mixtos, lengua and the choripollo tacos. The tacos are packed with flavor and very authentic. They have a green sauce and red sauce also, both of which were great. Service wise, the food came out really quickly and there are 2 tables by the truck for people to sit, and if those are full there are also some benches right near where you can sit. It's very convenient and easy! There's street parking around the truck so parking isn't an issue fyi! I definitely am going to go back to try the quesadilla next time!

I am always in search of a good burrito. That's my dream and that's my mission of life. To find a good burrito and chill. I am very fortunate that I live a 5 minute walk away from Tacos Los Primos because not only their tacos are amazing but they also have the most ginormous burritos. You can see the pictures and that the burrito is bigger than my hand. My hand is really big btw. Not only it is big but it is generously filled with rice and beans that are beyond tasty, your choice of meat and more. I love to stop by once a week and I love eating from here.

Very tasty Tacos! I was headed to the truck around the corner, but it happened to be closed, in the mood for Tacos I ended up at this truck, and am not mad that I did. I love the simplicity of street tacos. Sometimes the tastiest thing can be simple, and street tacos are the perfect example. The simplicity of them makes the meat the star of the show. I go 1 Pastor, and 2 Lengua (beef tongue) tacos. The onions, cilantro, and sauce went well with, but didn't over power the meat. The menu is simple, and the workers were friendly. The food came out quick, and was good. They have a small table and some seats/ stools available for seating, and they're right next to a grassy park area. What more do you need from a food truck? Go and enjoy!

Some of the best tacos in the DMV. Don't judge by the small truck, judge by the food.

Tacos Al Pastor were really good. We were the only white folks in line at the time. So, you know that's a good sign.

We came mainly for the birria pizza and birria ramen, and both were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The service really stood out too. Staff were polite, and super efficient; I think our food came out in like 15 minutes or less! The space itself is bright, colorful, and has a comfortable, homey vibe. We went on a Friday and were able to walk in and get seats easily, which was a nice surprise. Parking can be a bit tricky in the area though, so you may have to park a little farther away and walk. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. Overall, such a great experience and we will definitely be back next time we are in Virginia!

I'm visiting from California and I can honestly say there is nothing like this back home. Last thing, you can't beat the prices in this restaurant! The restaurant is on a corner, parking in the back. Came back on Cinco de Mayo since we had such a good experience the other night. We didn't get any chips / salsa (server forgot). They ran out of guacamole, the burrito we ordered had no green salsa ( we asked for it and we paid extra). My fajitas were a little over done, I asked for medium rare. Server didn't bring silverware, we had to ask. Granted it was Cinco de Mayo, but running out of guacamole?? I originally gave a 5 star but had to change it.

I liked their menu and wanted to give it a try. I got there shortly after they opened up and it was pretty empty. I got a seat right by the door, and had a view of the street and watched as the restaurant began to fill up. Lots of college kids came in as the evening went on and it seemed like a popular restaurant. I thought my server was very good. He checked in regularly and had a lot of tables he was responsible for. For my meal, I started with Queso Fundido and that was probably my favorite. The cheese was really hot and very delicious. It also came with three types of salsa on the side (a salsa verde, a chili salsa, and a third one I'm not sure what it was). I did like the chili one. The flour tortillas were very hot and fresh. I enjoyed it. For my entree, I had the Achiote Hanger Steak Fajitas. This was my least favorite part of the meal. I had asked the waiter if they were good and he told me he always recommends it. I didn't mind the sides that came with it. The rice and beans were pretty good and I liked the guacamole. What I didn't like was the actual steak. It was very tough and hard to bite into. What was weird is it was completely red in the middle so I believe it was medium to medium rare, but the steak wasn't tender at all. It also wasn't very seasoned and the peppers and onions under it just seemed to be sitting in oil. I did ask for salt and pepper, but even with it, I didn't like it. I ended up not finishing the meal. Finally, I had ordered the corn cheesecake as a dessert. I now realize they sent out churros instead, but I guess I wasn't paying attention until after the fact. The churros were OK. I would have preferred more chocolate sauce on mine. I wish I would have spoken up because I was actually looking forward to trying the cheesecake. For me the food was ok, and not spectacular. I'd be willing to try out something else and come back to at least try their cheesecake, but if I never returned that'd be fine with me too.
