    taco truck exterior.

Food- I've only tried asada tacos thus far, but they were pretty good. I usually prefer my meat more chopped rather than in strips, but it was good. I like that they use homemade tortillas, and the tacos include guacamole which is different from most places. Service- Although I visited the truck only a half hour before closure, I was still greeted and served! I didn't interact with many of the employees, but the two that I did interact with were nice. Value- Great. If you eat similar food anywhere else in the DMV area, the prices at this truck are pretty much comparable. Think $3/per taco and some specials/deals. Ambiance- N/A. I visited the taco truck. Location: the taco truck currently operates in Northern VA- near courthouse Rd and on the corner of Columbia Pike and Dinwidee- see their page for specific times. Payment Options: the truck currently accepts cash, Visa, Discover and MasterCard.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Very friendly and helpful staff - I loved the fish tacos and the sauces were tasty. $3.50/taco, which I thought was a fair value for the area. Will definitely be returning

Very yummy! This pink truck also stands in Rosslyn during weekday lunch. There was a line already forming ~11:45am. The guy taking the orders was very kind and I received the food in less than 5 min. Comes with two hot sauces on the side -- I especially like the orange one (tangy/very spicy) -- and cucumbers. The fish taco was the standout by far and the carne asada was good (just not super memorable). Next time I want to try the birria tacos!

Birria tacos and guacamole are a must have. This food truck has been pulling up weekly to my favorite brewery and I'm looking forward to trying everything on the menu. The staff is very personable and attentive. Everything is made to order and the presentation of the food is on point. The guacamole comes with chips but is served in a taco bowl, for me, that is the best part!

Some of the best food truck eats in the DMV!....And, giving huge serving portions "ain't never hurt…read morenobody!" After pondering over the usual lunch options, I decided go on a food truck excursion for lunch today. On any given day, just outside the office, there's always several food trucks making their rounds in the Arlington-Ballston area. Luckily for me, Over the Rice decided to show up! Over the Rice seems to have a cult following. As soon as they tweet their location for the day, you can bet there is a line of folks waiting to partake in their fare. This I know, because every time they are anywhere near my office building my coworkers run for the doors during lunch like a cow herd. And, I see why! The food is always fresh and the flavor is there. This is my fourth time visiting this truck and I can attest one thing for sure....the food and taste is consistent....actually, really good. You pick your choice of meat(s): Steak, Grilled Chicken, Lamb, Pork and there is a vegetarian option as well. Then, the assembly of a great meal begins. If you are indecisive like me, they offer a combo meat option which is usually my go to....Chicken n' Steak or....when in the mood to change things up....the Chicken n' Lamb! One word...its "HittinNStickin!" The meat is so tender, juicy...and most of all seasoned! It is served over rice (yellow basmati rice), of course and comes with a side salad and two quarter slices of pita bread. The food is more than enough to share...in my opinion. The finisher that makes the food a hit....is the Tzatziki sauce ANNNDDDDDD this spicy kind of sauce I can't seem to put my finger on it! But, whatever it is.....make sure you order extra of both!! lol THE GOOD IN A NUTSHELL: Overall, you can't go wrong with this food truck! Fast friendly service, fresh tasting, flavorful food, good portions, and you don't get a sense of bad food handling practices like some food trucks or feel like you are going to need a pack of Tums to alleviate the bubble-guts...after consuming it. Nothing but a thumbs up experience and clean operation here. THE EIGHT BALL IN THE CORNER POCKET: The long lines are the only down side, but look at it this way...."good things come to those who wait"....besides, if there was no line then that may not be a good sign for sure! lol

Amazing service from a woman that really cares and will stuff your box (so to speak) full of all kinds of crazy wild food. The service definitely gets a 5. The prices and food are a 4. They are good but not amazing. You get a ton of food, including meatballs and drunken noodles and all sorts of other weird stuff. It's all good but none of it was like, omg wow I can't wait to come back. The Thai Tea Bubble Tea was pretty yum, but the bubbles in it were not so fresh at all. I'd have enjoyed it more if I had ordered it without bubbles. Overall a great experience. My first food in DC after driving non stop from Pittsburgh, where I had just driven to from Buffalo. A crazy long drive which ended in me eating a ton of food from this truck and so it will always be a really positive memory for me. But if you've already tried it and enjoyed it, then I just Sang to the choir. Wheeeeeelllllls... I better be going. I have to talk to my friends from Ireland, Scotland, and Wheels.
