Instead, the tailor cut off my original sleeves, replaced them, and added floral appliqués that I never requested or approved. This permanently changed the look of my wedding dress and left me devastated. A wedding dress is one of the most important garments a person will ever wear, and I trusted this shop to make a modification--not redesign part of the dress without my permission. The lack of communication and disregard for my instructions were completely unacceptable. If the original request couldn't be done as asked, I should have been contacted before any irreversible changes were made. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop for wedding dress alterations. I hope they improve their communication with future brides so no one else has to go through the stress and heartbreak of having their dress altered in a way they never approved.

One trying on tailored pants and saw his satisfaction with his body language and words of appreciation to the Tailor. Though they do quote you up front. My gripe is that on my final fitting the bust was too tight. I told them that it was tight and was succinctly dismissed and told it was supposed to fit like that. I didn't want to deal with the hassle or argue because I was fed up with wedding planning by then so I just took the dress as altered. I looked great on my wedding day but the dress was too damn tight all day. I've since lost weight since then and tried on my dress again just for kicks. It's still too tight on the bust area. I get that brides like to look slim or whatever, but some of us want to be comfortable on our wedding day. These wedding dresses are supposed to accentuate and fit properly not be torture devices. I'm always having to take my dresses to get hemmed and I find that I get a better deal taking it to get altered at the cleaners since it's such a quick fix and it would be hard to mess that up. I took in a couple dresses and the nice lady at the front gave me a blank stare when I said I wanted to get them hemmed. She asked me if I knew how much I wanted to get hemmed and I said no, wouldn't you normally check to see how much I need to get hemmed once I have it on? And she said she was not the tailor and that she could only take my dresses if I knew how much I wanted hemmed. She said they don't have always have the tailor on site which was a bummer. I mean I technically could have measured it but it would have been good info to put on the Facebook video promoting the business that they do not always have a tailor on site. I'm still giving them 4 stars because the place was really nice and clean and the lady I spoke to was very polite. I'll update my review later on when I try out the actual dry cleaning services.
