People are nice and polite and I asked what's the process of selling my used clothes to them before bringing in bags. They explained what they are likely to buy and won't buy. Unless you have brand name or designer stuff, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I wish I would've just believed the reviews before I drove 30 min. My daughter and I saw on their Instagram page a post that stated what they were buying and not buying. So we specifically cleaned out closets with the stuff they are supposedly buying. My daughter had 2 big trash bags full and they bought 3 items from her for $4. CRAZY!!! she felt so offended. Then they did mine. I had a basket full of clothes, two trash bags of shoes and a basket of purses. All they took was a purse or 2 and a pair of Nike shoes for $13. I was also very offended as they took nothing they supposedly buy (clothing wise). Most of it was new or worn once. The girl checking us in was super nice and informative about the process and I felt we were going to get back at least maybe $20-30 each. She told us we wouldn't get a text message letting us know they were done so to come back within an hour or two but before 9pm or they would throw all of our stuff away. We both ended up getting text messages so that was a lie. Then the girl checking us out spoke so damn low I could barely hear a thing she was saying. But I'm not surprised. I really felt she was scared or embarrassed telling us she was giving us a few dollars and almost all of our stuff back. This place is trash!!! My daughter initially wanted to look around to maybe buy from them but after that she just wanted to leave. Honestly , I've been to a lot of Plato's and this one is not it. The lounge flys are not in good condition even some with tears but they still want 40+ dollars for them and then the pop figures , beat up boxes for those prices. Dirty bags and some of the clothes have a heavy smoke smell on them. Staff was friendly. Changed to 3 because I looked more on the shirts that weren't Disney. Drove an hour round trip for this store. Lots of clothes in store have stains on them, and buttons falling off. Gave a large bag of nice on brand clothing, and was returned a majority of it and they offered 15.00 for over 100.00 of clothing and shoes. I've gotten more at other PC stores, and found better deals. This one seems to have higher prices on their clothing. The store seems clean and employees nice, but too stingy on what they're taking in and seem to have a lot of crummy fast fashion brands in store like SHEIN etc. which they take over higher quality clothing brands. read more

If I could give this location 0 stars I would. Brought in (2) bags of clothing yesterday. All had no staining, no flaws, and were brands that I see frequently when skimming their racks. In about 10 minutes after dropping off my bags, they were ready to be picked up. Short timing almost always means something bad. They bought (4) items of mine (I had 58 items in the bags combined) for $6.75. After working in the fashion industry for a little under 10 years, I will never go to this location again or recommend anyone do the same. Checked in yesterday and had a very positive and pleasant experience! It was my first time here and the Team Member who helped Me was an Excellent Brand Ambassador for the Company. She was Cheerful, Welcoming, and very thorough and organized with her Hustle, and explained to Me clearly the process of Plato's Closet Clothes Selection System. The Team Member took down my Phone Number and ID information and kept my Items very organized, and instructed Me that the Team was going to take about half an hour to go through my Dresses to see which ones they were interested in taking. I was also given the option to return the next day if I was tight on time, but I decided to wait since I wasn't from the Area. The Team Members worked really fast and I got a text within twenty minutes! Unfortunately none of the Items I brought were what the Store was looking for, but the Gentleman with the Long hair who helped Me was extremely kind and Professional about explaining why Plato's had to pass on my dresses for the day. All the Team Members working were hustling hard and treated Customers like valued and respected Guests, and I really loved how well organized the Store was and how nice is smelled compared to Goodwill. It's good that the Store keeps the Cave Simple and Tidy and not overwhelmed with Clutter. Keep up the Great Work! read more

The people who work here are very nice usually and i love going here to get trendy clothes but i have to really look for it and come at the right times like events and stuff, or when they post clothes i want on their pages. Most of the time i find stuff that doesn't align with my personal tastes though. And i also agree that they are VERY picky with choosing what pieces of clothes to take if you want to sell it to them, yet the clothes they do accept are not the best As i go often i don't find much i like anymore. We had a really good experience with this location of Plato's! The girls at the register were very friendly and the selection was real good yesterday. And most of the prices were great! The only negative thing that we noticed was that there were quite a few SHEIN items but they were being sold for more than the price on the website itself. First time here never coming again felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. They are beyond picky with clothes they take which makes no sense considering half the selection looks worn or torn and it smells. Brought clothes here they said they don't take those type of clothes yet I saw it on other racks up for sale. Drove 45 mins and was excited to drop off some clothes and check out the store. It was my first time going into a Plato's, I was disappointed when I walked in. I wasn't greeted and I was standing there with a bag of clothes. The associate at the register didn't even acknowledge me until a line started to form. So I got into the line, even though I had been waiting. Thankfully another associate helped me, who was very sweet. For 5 items I got $10.58, I ended up donating the rest at Goodwill. i really try to give plato's closet multiple chances but i'd rather just donate it. The staff were really helpful and nice, but if your clothes fit every description of what they want, they still won't buy. It's really frustrating because it didn't even look like they sorted through my clothes i wanted to sell and told me it was going to be a two hour wait so i drove 30 minutes home home only to receive a text that it was ready and looked untouched. i suggest just donating it because i've sold at different locations too and they won't give you much for an expensive item that hasn't been worn. they're cheap and will resell for the same price as original retail. read more

This is truly the best Plato's Closet location I have came across. There is constantly so much clothes coming in. The staff here work very hard to ensure it! Seriously, you will see them work on the job, making things cute, taking pictures, hear them formulating plans on how to make the store cuter and cleaner. What stands out to me is this location hosts events such as - athletic wear, valentines' day, Christmas themed, Brandy Melville events, etc. The events are always super fun and crazy with SO MUCH CUTE STUFF. Trust me if there is a Brandy Melville event, expect racks and racks of Brandy Melville. On top of that, there is such a wide selection of clothing for everyone to choose from. This store is very size inclusive, and I love that the plus-size clothing is always cute. It's always up to date with the trends! Seriously, you'll find Victoria Secret, HUF, Thrasher, Doc Martens, Michael Kors, Brandy Melville, Lululemon, Forever21, Freepeople, etc. Often times, there are clothing items with tags still on them as well! This store is on their social media platforms such as Tik Tok and Instagram. Very friendly atmosphere and people! I have seen plenty of customers make their tik toks here and the store staff often even help out the tik tok videos! Some things to know about this location is no pets unless service animal! That is just to protect customers with allergies. Plenty of parking. Selling clothes here is simple process! You bring in clothes, everything is ran through a computer system, store staff texts you when you can come to the front, you are given a price quote, you decide to sell or not :) You may also trade the clothes which is super great as well! The first time I came here, the store is kinda looking like it hasn't been cleaned in awhile... especially the floors. You don't even getting a greeting from the people working at the front desk. SMH.... Clothing wise, they don't have much of a variety and I sense that they don't check their isles often because some stuff has been put out of place. It doesn't seem like the workers care about the well-being of the store. They do not have a great selection of clothing at all. I think some of their clothing pieces are pretty outdated considering I'm very into fashion. I hope they stay more up to date. I understand they can only sell what they choose to sell and what people can give. BUT my goodness, this store needs someone who can pick clothing pieces better to sell in the store or it's gonna start looking more like a very low-end Goodwill. Parking is not hard. It's inside a plaza with a TJ Maxxx and a Gen Korean BBQ place. You should be able to find parking on a typical day. On a weekend it might be busier as the Gen Korean BBQ place has a lot of customers. My second review is based off my sister in law bringing them clothing and this is when it gets bad. DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHING HERE. They will take all they can get and barely give you a dime. My sister in law wears a bigger size like XL but she brought a lot of nice things to this place. They took like a few pieces of the items she had that were like Micheal Kors, Coach and Gucci and barely gave her almost $13 for all her items. She even had clothing items that had brand new tags with them because she keeps changing in sizes due to her diabetes. This place is a pig slum!!! Honestly, bring your clothing elsewhere to consign. Was looking forward to going here since the location in Rancho Cucamonga was awesome but closed years ago. I drove from Rancho to Corona and I was very dissatisfied. There was barely any clothes there. The racks were not full at all. The shoes very very old and dirty. The clothes very very worn. Piling and really ugly faded. The style of clothing was also very badly picked. Lots of Nike and random things. My daughter was so excited to go there and she was so sad that she left with nothing. This place is absolutely horrible. The person evaluating the clothes is not good at their job, hence all these bad reviews. I brought in 2 very full trash bags of brand new things and clothes that were still in great condition. There's stuff in the store that are stained, smell weird, and look worn out. But because the stuff I brought wasn't supposedly "in demand" they took ONE purse out of like 70 pieces.
