Leaving this review a couple years after our experience because I have to look at our wedding pictures on my wall for the rest of my life with the groomsmen and groom in wayyy too small clothing. I came in here back on January 28, 2022, it was a slow evening so we were helped quickly, so I never imagined when pickup came in may that I would have an issue. The groomsmen came on back in April to get sized for their tux and everything was fine. The people who sized them really weren't sizing correctly, or going in depth if you will with how they were measuring. Pick up was Wednesday may 18, and I called the day prior on Wednesday and asked if it was ok if we picked up the following (Thursday). I was told yes and if there were any issues they could order whatever is needed to be here the next day (Friday). Perfect! What could go wrong? I guess I should have recognized that meant there would be issues. my husband went in to pick up his tux and the groomsmen's just to run into a major problem. His shirt didn't fit. Like I was assured the day before , I'm thinking we could get a correct size ordered. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Apparently it was "prom season" still. So due to it being "prom season", they didn't have a large in black in the length my husband needs. Somehow the day prior when I called... it wasn't prom season. When trying to ask questions I was spoken to very condescending by the employee who was helping my husband at the front. My biggest concern is what happens when a groomsmen tries his on and the black shirt is too small? They offered my husband a shirt in white in his size, or a black shirt so he matches everyone else however it's oversized. Zero real solution rectifying their mistake. Whether it's the wrong size was ordered or he was measured wrong by their own emp Not only is the shirt wrong, the jacket has no cuffs. The jackets I chose had cuffs. I chose style 1210, and what was ordered was 1230. I did not catch this in store because I don't familiarize myself with the item numbers of places as I'm not an employee and don't need to. 4 years later I am still stuck with pictures on my wall of half my wedding party in attire that doesn't fit with the exception of the minister who had his own suit . Definitely go somewhere else to make sure your wedding photos aren't like mine. read more

Don't have the name of the other employees contact was made with but one is a young black female while the other is a young male with dark black hair. Leah was absolutely amazing!! Her customer service is above and beyond and she truly helped us in a way that we've never had at another shop before! When we were there, she was able to provide us with tons of knowledge on all the suits, let my fiancé try some on, helped us set up an order, and even helped us pick out suits for our groomsmen, taking a huge load off of us! I guess I should have read their reviews before we went because now I see so many others have had common experiences. This location messed up measurements for every single person in our wedding party. I don't understand how they mess up measurements for that many people. 5 days before our wedding all of the guys went in to pick up their suits and there was an issue with every single one. We specifically told them the pants needed to be wide enough to fit cowboy boots in them and they were all too tight. They suggested the guys tuck them into the boots. How ridiculous would that look?! Other people had too tight of vests, pants 3 inches too short, and pants too tight around the waist. Just an absolute shit-show! The day I showed up to get my suit, the pants needed to be hemmed up another 1/2", I was stressed if they could get it done in time, he took my pants in the back and did it himself right there. My husband and all of his Groomsmen and my Bridesmen rented their suits at Friar Tux for our October 13th wedding and they all looked so sharp. While several of them were able to do their measurements, pick-up, and drop-off at FT locations closer to their homes, a majority of the group used this location. Plain and simple, we had absolutely no issues with this process and appreciate the no-stress logistics about renting a suit or tux through this location. We looked into other options and no other company could beat the price, value, style options, or easiness of Friar Tux. There's quite a bit of incentives for the Groom to rent through FT which was greatly appreciated and I liked that we could monitor the list of rentals online. Horrible, seriously avoid this place our wedding party had the hardest time with multiple suits and tuxes. There were 10 people in the men's wedding party and 5 of them had some kind of issue. And it wasn't just this store it was the Cerritos store and temecula. So let's start with the groom suit, didn't fit him after the 3rd trial and the response the week of the wedding was well what do you want us to do about it. For my son they gave us the wrong sizes again 3 times as well as the clasp for his vest breaking. My brother had to run to two different stores to get the right suit size. Two of my cousins got the wrong shirt size. We had to scramble the week of the wedding. And the service from these people freaking sucked empty " I understands" and "sorry" all while wearing smug I don't really care looks. read more

My groom, his 7 groomsmen & 3 Jr. groomsmen all rented their tuxedos from Friar Tux and they looked so sleek and handsome! First of all I (the bride) didn't know where to go for their tuxes at the time(4 months before the wedding---12.03.2016). Friar Tux took the initiative and called me and that made my decision right there! The FT workers were so nice and helpful when my groom went first to get his tuxedo. When I ordered the colors I wanted, at the time, for the groomsmen, the FT workers told me to just have the groomsmen go to any FT around the nation to get there measurements and on the big day, they can pick up their tux! What service because we had groomsmen from Las Vegas & all over Northern & Southern California! (They even have a website for the bride to help her not get stressed with groomsmen being all over the nation.) Second, I ended up changing my mind about the colors of the groomsmen's and my groom's tuxedos at the last minute. First off I want to state that I used Men's Warehouse for my wedding. I told my buddy that but he said he heard good reviews about this company so. I got an text saying that my party(my son and my tux) is ready to pick up. When I got there my son's tux was not ready. Then I came back when his tux was ready (3 days before the wedding) and the pants that they originally measured was small. They remeasured and stated that they would have it mailed to my house the next day. Now keep in mind..when I made the reservation to do the fitting my email Is already saved in their system. Next day comes and no email of delivery. I called the location and sure enough they had my email wrong. I was instructed to call their corporate office to check the status which I did...and they gave me the info but the rep was really rude.
