We picked up 2 slices for lunch--Sicilian and a specialty buffalo chicken slice and it was delicious! My go-to is a Sicilian slice and this one was so pillowy and delicious! The sauce and cheese were great and everything was hot out of the oven. Service was quick at the counter and the cashiers were very nice. Lots of seating indoors too with some tables outside as well. Great place to stop in and I'd love to come back to try some of their other things. read more

Love Marios and Sue! Sue works so hard and gives so much to our community@ I love anything eggplant always delicious!

I just picked up a sausage and peppers sub with cheese topping. Very fresh, plentiful, and perfectly prepared. Sausages were highest quality; probably the best I've ever had! read more

Love a family run shop - the food and service at Mario's were both amazing - quality, fresh ingredients in the bruschetta. and the fried ravioli were also super satisfying! Nice people! thanks for a warm welcoming dinner tonight! read more

Food is very good at a fair price. It's family run so the owners are in the place daily! It's our weekly pizza place to go.

The BEST Italian food made by real Italians. Pizza...Subs....Dinners and anything else on the menu is mouth watering. I have eaten their food many years now and have never had a bad experience. I am 50% Italian and Susan makes gravy just like my Grandmother. They also deliver local. If you are coming up from NYC call ahead for pick up. They are The Best in Ulster County. Drew read more

Great takeaway food, lovingly cooked. This is a good place in a delightful neighborhood.

So disappointed because I really liked them. Food is decent but once I ordered and was told an hour but had to call and remind them. Tonight I ordered and two hours later they showed up that's just not acceptable. Just tell me you need me to pick it up. I can make it to their place from my apt in less than 20 minutes. read more

Anytime I'm back in NY, I try to make it in here for some pizza. There is just something about their pizza that is special. Maybe it is the fact that I've come in here for over 30 years, or that the quality never changed, but when in town, I'll visit for sure! read more

A pizza place that's not open on a Friday night? Hours on door say 10am-11pm. I show up around 5:30 hoping for a few slices to go and the door is locked, lights are off, and no one is there. But there's no sign on the door apologizing for being closed, nothing. Extremely disappointing for Friday night and a holiday weekend. This would be my second time having the pizza, which is nothing special anyway. read more

Good prices and good pizza. We order quite a bit of pizza from this restaurant. They have 14, 16, and 18 inch pies all at great prices. A 16 inch cheese goes for a little over $10. The cheese they use on their pizza is very thick. I'm a fan of the thick cheese myself. The only other meal we've ordered was the meatball parm sub. It was a hit and miss. The first time it was good, but the second time it was a little dry. Cheese fries are just fries with sandwich slice cheese laying on top... Not a fan. I'd stick to no cheese on the fries. The pizza has been consistently good though. When placing an order, expect to wait a while. They're orders run slower than the normal pizza place for some reason. The average wait time I've gotten for one cheese pizza can be up around 30 minutes. Also, don't be concerned if you're going to be a little late to pick up. You'll still wait an additional 10-15 minutes when you get there. Plenty of indoor seating is available for those who would rather eat in. Credit cards are accepted with no minimum that I'm aware of. read more

My family and I live just around here. They deliver, but we are close enough to pick up our own food. I'll begin by saying that the food here is pretty decent. Not the best Italian ever, but good enough to keep us wanting to order from them. Only issue? The wait!! Even for a pick up, they tell you the wait time on a typical night will be 40 minutes. This is long enough, without adding on the additional 20 minutes you will still have to sit and wait for your food. It's about honesty, if pick up will be in an hour, tell your customer an hour. Don't tell them less time just to tame the masses, only to have your customers sitting and waiting for another 20 minutes, for a simple large cheese pizza. It's just not right!! read more

At first glance this is just a little hole in the wall place. I stopped in for a slice of cheese. Unfortunately, they did not have cheese available. The woman offered a white cheese slices instead which was fine, but a little bit more money. The crust was yummy, but I found the slice to be a little smaller than I hoped for for the three dollar price. The staff were very friendly, and I found the dining area, although small, clean. I stopped in at Mario's Pizza in Port Ewen while taking a drive down Rt 9W. So glad I did. Good food, friendly service, good prices and the owner was very easy on the eyes. Try the cannolis. YUM! I plan to take a trip back very soon. Cathie read more

While I wish the crust was crisper, I found it was my favorite places near Kingston. Excellent service from friendly staff.

We came back home for a home going for my father home going and craved some good old NY pizza. We stopped by here and they treated us like royalty! The pizza was soo good jut like NY pizza should be. Their Italy's subs were to unbelievable even cold! Soo good that before my flight back to California I had to grab six more for the family. This was back in November and to this day we are still talking about how nice everyone was there and how great the food was! If we come back to Kingston we we'll be stopping in! read more

Mario's Pizza - Came from Cali back to our hometown just for this pizza!! - Pizza Near Me - Port Ewen, New York

A lovely little pizza place with a happy family. We got sausage and peppers pizza with garlic knots. They have incredible crust and knots. Our pizza beats a lot of the NYC pizza places. read more

We order pizza from here almost once a week. Sometimes we get hot heros instead but every time it's awesome. The people on the phone are always friendly and courteous. The drivers aren't creepy like at some pizzerias. We even ordered on Halloween this year and were delighted by the drivers costume. Every experience has been a positive one. Not to mention the food is always superb. I have lived in 6 states and even down in the city and this is definitely in my top 5 favorite pizzerias in the US. If you are driving through Port Ewen, it's worth any wait time to grab a slice here. Though I've yet to experience an unreasonable wait time for my meals. Pick up or delivery. Fantastic all the way around! Don't go changin. :) read more

Quite a disappointment. Each time I go there, the pizza is too raw or too well-done. The prices fluctuate from visit to visit. The food quality is never consistent. Do not order the chicken parmesan sub- soggy messy bread, dried out chicken, and barely any cheese. Toppings on pizza are conservative, charging $2 per topping with barely any toppings. I have been there 4 times now, hoping for a better experience. Very disappointed and wouldn't go again. read more

Wonderful food and service! We order pizza and dinners at least once a month and get it delivered. Every order is delivered hot and with a smile. There have been a few times that something has been forgotten and within 20 min they were back at my door with the correct thing (things happen). I would highly recommend Mario's for the food and service! read more

The pizza here is solid; classic Kingston style with thick crust, lots of good sauce, abundant cheese and perfectly cooked to my taste. These folks make a good pie and are always courteous and friendly. Will definitely order take out from here again. read more

LOVE this place! Pizza is always fresh, good quality cheese! And the wings are KILLER

i don't care for the delivery driver's attitude, it reflects poorly on the establishment, and I'm not going to be spending any more money with this place, especially with so many other local quality alternatives read more
