Basically I had them remove the Electronic Integration Module (EIM) and replace it with an analog control system from FP Marine. The EIM was failing and there is no replacement but FP marine has a pre-wired system where all the dash controls are replaced. Along with winterization, this project and re-packing the rudders and spring commissioning everything was done with care, on time and within budget. I could not be happier as I have had other "professionals" in the past years do shoddy work, over budget and months past the work complete dates. Stephanie and Mike were a joy to work with and will be hired to do a few more upgrades soon. My wife is thrilled as we were planning on selling the boat in the fall and now she wants to have Seven Seas do more upgrades and keep her for a few more years. For most of that time, service was solid -- they generally showed up on time, were helpful, and I paid every bill promptly. We had a good relationship for a long time. Over the last year or two, though, things slipped noticeably. They started showing up haphazardly, often not on the days they promised, and it would take a week to a few weeks to get any email confirmation or follow-up. Communication became very spotty. That came to a head when I was selling my boat and needed a tachometer issue fixed -- the engine was over-revving. I contacted Chris directly, explained it was time-sensitive because the boat was being surveyed for sale, and was told I'd be added to the list and taken care of quickly. Instead, I waited five weeks with no update, emailed twice with no response, and finally had to call the office myself to ask what the delay was. That's when Austin told me Chris and Rob were both out on vacation at the same time, leaving him as the only guy handling everything -- with zero communication to me beforehand that there'd be any delay. I was told a tech would come out that Monday. Austin confirmed he'd be there. He never showed. When I followed up Thursday, he said he'd just gotten busy and never made it out -- his response was basically, "good luck, I hope it turns out okay for you." The pre-sale survey happened before the tachometer was ever fixed. As a direct result, I had to lower the overall price of the boat and create a $2,000 seller's allowance during negotiations. I lost several thousand dollars because they didn't show up and fix the problem like they said they would. Despite a decade of loyalty and on-time payments, the lack of communication and missed commitments during a time-sensitive repair left me feeling like I was no priority whatsoever, and that our long-standing relationship didn't matter at all. I felt betrayed, and this growing pattern of unprofessionalism and lack of caring has reached a point where I would not recommend them, nor would I ever use their services again if I get another boat. You're paying a premium and getting low-budget service.

Kompletely Kustom gave us a a very low initial quote which is why we went with him and they looked good on paper. Well it was to good to be true and we were charged $15,000 more than what was originally quoted, and he wasn't even able to do over half of the work that was originally agreed upon!  We later had to get other companies to fix items that were quoted by Daniel as well as to fix the major screwups he left us. Furthermore Daniel (the owner) ruined our helm area prying with a screwdriver rather than removing it properly like a subsequent company did and he dropped hydraulic fluid in our stateroom ceiling without even a bucket or towel to catch the fluid from the part he was removing! I spent 2 weeks cleaning up the mess! Even more he acted like it wasn't a big deal while his workers scrambled to clean it up using our shop towels and rags! He offered to rip out the ceiling the next day when I sent pictures of the damage to reupholster it, but by then we were terrified he would mess even more things up and we may never get our ceiling panel back, let alone done properly.   He requires direct access to your credit card which he bills relentlessly even after I told him there was no more money in the budget for repairs (he was 15k over) forcing me to cancel our credit card. He also tried to bill us twice for the water heater they failed to commission properly, as well as for the time while he was ruining our ceiling. If you have anyfurther doubt, we were even offered a discount not to post a negative review about this which makes you wonder how many others took that discount and that's why he has decent ratings.  Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company there'sa KompletelyKustomprice that you won't know about. . There are many other reputable companies out there that do business properly and they didn't even know his company name! Regrettably, we learned our lesson and now know that there are rules and regulations that he was in violation of.

The Port engine has failed and there is a hole in the exhaust manifold that we paid for repair. Neither toilet flushes after spending 4,075.00 to repair and replace foot valves, seals, vacuum generator for waste system, etc. The salon compartment was left filthy. Stains all over the carpet and our couch was still on its side in the kitchen area. This was at the "completion" of the year long work that KK did. The boat died after it was launched and we had to have it towed to our slip. Dan the owner retaliates with paragraph long rebuttals to any negative review and turns it back on the customer. We paid a butt ton of money for shoddy work, a boat that is a waterfront condo and toilets that still don't flush after spending 4,000. Just run! Do not use these people!! I truly believe they have no clue what they are doing.

This was my first time here at the Annual Annapolis Powerboat Show, at the Annapolis Harbor Boat Yard, which was great. More about the Annapolis Powerboat Show after I post this review. Downtown parking near the Annapolis Harbor boatyard was limited, therefore I parked at the United States Naval Academy's stadium parking lot for $20. After parking my Audi we boarded the yellow shuttle school bus and departed in a couple of minutes. Shuttle school buses operated frequently between the U.S. Naval Academy's stadium parking lot and the Annapolis Harbor BoatYard where the Choptank restaurant and Powerboat Show were located within a short walking distance. We arrived at the harbor boatyard just prior to noon. We reserved our 12 noon lunch at the Choptank restaurant on OpenTable. See my separate prior Choptank restaurant review. After the Powerboat show we returned to the shuttle bus pickup area. After waiting a couple of minutes the shuttle bus arrived and we returned to our parking lot. Overall I was pleased with my second visit to the historic capital of Annapolis and our first visits to the Harbor Boat Yard and the Annapolis PowerBoat Show.
