I worked here for about a month. I was paid $12.25 per hour after telling them I really needed a job. The two other girls working there each had their own register login numbers, but I was never given one. Customers would leave tips through the register, so I asked the manager how the tips were handled and whether I was receiving any of them, especially since I was being paid below the minimum wage. He became upset with me for asking. The owner repeatedly told me she would talk to me about it, but she never did. After that, the manager's attitude toward me completely changed. My official position was cashier, but I regularly did much more than that. I helped with food preparation, assisted the chef, and washed dishes whenever needed. The manager would often tell me, "If you don't like it here, you can go." So after hearing that plenty of time, I quit. After one argument, the owner spoke to me and was very kind. However, when I brought up that I still had 33 unpaid hours, her attitude changed. They eventually paid me for those hours. Since then, whenever the restaurant receives a negative review, they accuse me of writing it or asking other people to leave bad reviews. Yesterday, I visited as a customer. I was polite, ordered my food, paid, and left. Later that same day, they received another negative review. Without any evidence, they accused me of writing it and threatened to call the police. The owner even told me it would be "better" if I deleted the reviews, even though they were not mine. After being falsely accused and threatened over reviews I did not write, I decided to share my own experience. This review reflects only what personally happened to me. read more
