This is THE BEST Mexican place around. Their salsa is authentic & so amazing. We love it with the chips and white cheese sauce. Their Santa Fe Fajita Nachos are out of this world! Their shredded chicken chipotle chimichanga is delicious! Their guacamole is authentic and not the fake stuff a lot of the Mexican joints around here serve. It's worth the wait, because they are busy at nights most of the time. I'm from California, so I grew up with authentic Mexican food and this is the only place around here that even comes close. This is one of our two favorite restaurants. We usually go early in the evening because they really fill up as it gets later. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The food is consistently great. We don't always have Margaritas but they are always perfect when we do. We usually get the queso dip to go with the chips and it disappears fast! My husband's regular dish is the steak fajitas and they always come out hot and 'sizzling'. I like to mix things up and get different dishes. I haven't been disappointed yet but be careful with the dish that has the chorizo sausage...it is hot!! read more

Great Mexican food in a laid back atmosphere, perfect for lunch. You're in and out quickly and the service is great. The Enchilada Mexicanas is great if you are an enchilada fan like me. We went there around 830 on a Friday night after getting off work. Which they weren't busy so that was a plus. The hostess asked us how our day was we replied with the typical "ok" and when I asked her about her day she began to complain. We passed it off as her probably having a rough day. After sitting outside for 10 minutes, the bus boy coming out to clean another table I finally went in and told the hostess no one has waited on us yet. She rolled her eyes and walked off. Finally someone came out and we ordered margaritas. I ordered the peach and my friend ordered the raspberry. They both tasted more like water then anything. It took him another 15 minutes to get our order, when the food came out the beans and rice had no flavor but the steak for my fajita wasn't bad. The chips were stale and the food was way to overpriced. Will not be back and will not recommended to anyone. read more

Our server last night displayed childish and despicable behavior. We had a party of 8. I called ahead to save a table, they said I just needed to come a little early to give them time to set up the table. I did. My party showed up, minus one person, and the waiter gets our drinks and gives us menus. Barely any time passes and he expected them to know what they wanted. When we kindly asked for more time, he VERY purposely rolled his eyes and slammed his book shut and asked how much "more time" (spoken in a mocking tone) that we needed. A few minutes pass and instead of coming back to our table he tells his manager to come talk to us. The manager rudely tells us that if we dont order now their will be a 45 minute wait. Before we can ask to order he walks away. Then our waiter proceeds to ignore us, walking past our table multiple times without stopping when we tried to get his attention. When he finally came back we decided not to stay and we asked for our bill and he tried to argue, claiming "we're busy!!" Being busy is not an excuse for rudeness and ill behavior. I personally will never come back here. And I will tell every one I know about this behavior. We left and went to Margaritas. I recommend Margaritas, about 5 blocks down the street. Much better service, much better pricing, and the food was delcious! read more

I drive an hour to come here, and it's worth it every time. I have tried several things, all are great, however the Pollo Ranchero Fajitas is the reason I keep coming back. So amazing, with the cheese piled on and the red sauce that makes the dish. And there's enough of it to stuff you and have some left over. No skimping on the extras (sour cream, veggies, pico). Top that off with their blue margarita, and you have a great experience! Their chimis an quesadillas are also great, love their chips and salsa, great queso dip. The only thing I didn't love was their taco salad, but it still wasn't bad, just nothing special about it. read more

I've eaten here dozens of times and highly recommend the sizzling steak fajitas, especially at lunch price. They give you plenty of meat, and it's absolutely delicious. Their salsa is made fresh and the most similar to Chevy's Fresh Mex I've found. Other entrees like chicken soft tacos, nachos and cheese enchiladas are very tasty and of decent size. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, especially in the back area by the bar. Service is generally adequate, but they do charge extra for things that ought to be free like ranch dressing or shredded cheese for the fajitas. read more

Ate here last night with my Dad and brother. Chips and salsa were good, the salsa had a little spice to it which I liked (I usually have to add a lot of hot sauce to salsa in most Mexican restaurants because it's too bland). Service was excellent, our waiter was very attentive and very friendly. There were many great-looking dishes to choose from on the menu. We all three were very satisfied with our food, it was fresh, tasty, well-prepared. And the portions were HUGE. None of us could finish our meals. read more

I see all the bad reviews but I guess being a regular me and my friends and family get better service and better food who knows....but then again I get the nachos and it's hard to mess up chips with queso and chicken but the chips are always good and warm and the salsa is ok but better than frito lay so that's always a good thing!! Worst restaurant experience of my life tonight. I wish zero stars were an option. The waiter was rude from the time we (a party of 7) sat down. Moments after we sat down we asked for a bit more time before placing our orders (we weren't immediately ready to order!) because we were waiting for one person in our party who hadn't arrived yet (and we hadn't looked at the menus!). The waiter asked how many minutes we'd need exactly, rolled his eyes, and walked off. Apparently he told his manager on us because then his manager came to tell us about how if we didn't order right then we'd have a 45 minute wait for our food, and walked off before we could respond. We agreed to order but by this point the waiter was avoiding our table. He walked by multiple times and even made eye contact with me, but wouldn't approach our table to take our orders. By the time he did make it back to our table we'd had enough and asked for the bill for our drinks. The waiter protested and tried to explain, which only made matters worse. We paid the bill and went to Margaritas down the street, where we had much better service. read more

Mariachi's has always been our favorite go to Mexican place in the area for years until now. The food and drinks were always great most of the time as was the staff. Few of the staff continue to excel, however, the service has severely suffered over the past year to year and a half. The food has declined especially over the past year. The portions are smaller but the worst of it is that it tastes average at best. We've brought in family and friends through the years and they agree that Mariachi's has suffered in both service and food quality/taste. We have been so pleased with Mariachi's that we decided to give it a try again this past week. The food was average to below average, service was slow and server less than pleasant. The final straw was that the server asked if we could wrap it up since they had a large group come in and they needed our table. We were barely finished with our meal and hadn't finished our drinks when we were asked to vacate. read more
