Fresas con crema matcha
Arlene B.

New bakery in the valley which took over the Starbucks location. Apparently they have other locations, but this is the first in the valley. Really friendly staff, acknowledging you as you walk in and leave. It was busy when we got there but service was very fast. Lots of interesting drink options and they all sounded good so it was hard to choose. I went with the fresas con crema matcha and asked for it to be less sweet. My husband got the dolce de letche latte along with a chocolate croissant. I went for the tinga empanada. There are tables inside. The matcha was good but a little watered down for my liking. The coffee was good though but you definitely have to get it less sweetened. The star for me was the empanada, 5/5! It was flaky, flavorful and had a little kick to it, especially with the salsa on the side! Will be back to try all the other drink options!!

I had the best time trying out the newly opened Mariachi Bakery in Reseda! It truly felt like a hidden gem and little slice of Mexico. They were playing great music & although I ordered tons of baked goods & food, everything came out extremely fast. The coffees were absolutely delicious & unique & the pan dulce selection was amazing. My favorite was probably the Niño Envuelto! There's plenty of space to sit & it's a very large cafe overall. I had such a great time here & would love to visit again soon.

Spanish Banana Latte

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while, but it was just too far. Now that they opened a location in Reseda, I had to check it out! There were so many drinks to choose from. Even though there was a line, it moved pretty quickly. I ordered the Mazapán Cold Brew, Flan Cold Brew, Horchata, and the Spanish Banana Latte. I also picked up a couple of pastries to try. Here's my honest review: I only got to take a few sips of the Horchata and the Mazapán Cold Brew, and they were just okay. The Flan Cold Brew tasted more like caramel than flan. But let me tell you--the Spanish Banana Latte was so good! It had a strong coffee flavor with just the right amount of banana. That one was definitely my favorite. Would I go back? Maybe! If you've been here before, let me know which drink would absolutely blow my mind. Overall, the service was great, everyone was friendly, and the place was very clean.

Duvalin Cold Brew

I've been to this place before at their South Gate location and I really enjoyed it. I was very excited to find out that they opened a San Fernando Valley location, conveniently down the street from my house. I ordered a Tres leches cold foam cold brew and a Duvalin cold foam cold brew. Both were very good, I ordered them with half sweetener and they were perfect. The Duvalin has a great chocolate flavor topped with a strawberry cold foam. The Tres Leches cold foam on top of my second drink was also very tasty. The cold brew is pretty strong as well. It's a very nice place inside, I love the decor on the wall and it has a lot of seating inside. I used the self serve kiosk because the line was kind of long which was awesome. The service was fast and the staff were great. I didn't have anything to eat at this location but I have had the food from the other location and it did not disappoint.

This café was clean and had a nice vibe, but wow, the music was so loud that we couldn't hear a word the server said while we were in line, which made ordering frustrating. I went with the horchata matcha latte on a staff member's recommendation (a guy behind the counter suggested it) and really enjoyed it, but my husband's dulce de leche latte missed the mark entirely, he said it didn't taste like dulce de leche at all. The ham and cheese croissant was just average, nothing memorable. On the plus side, they do have self-service kiosks for ordering, and the place started filling up right as we left, so it's clearly popular. We'd probably come back to try the pastries though, they looked amazing in the display case, and hopefully next time the music will be at a more reasonable level.

The concha was fresh and tasty.

Had to try this place. Saw a huge line yesterday. The place is very clean. The selection was a little sparse. I went when they first open, so I thought everything would be fresh. Sadly, a couple of the pastries felt hard, while others were soft, fresh and tasty.

Iced cafe de olla latte

Stopped by this new bakery and was really impressed! The food was delicious, the prices were very affordable, and the bakery itself is clean, welcoming, and beautifully set up. The line was long when we arrived, but it moved surprisingly fast, so the wait wasn't bad at all. Definitely worth checking out--I'll be coming back to try more!

Mexican concha. Mexico is playing against England today (World Cup 2026). The concha was very delicious. Definitely recommend

Drove past this place and decided to check it out. The name drew me in, lol. It was a Sunday morning 8am and there was already a long line. However, the line does move quickly. The staff were nice and helpful. I ordered a Mexican concha and an iced Cafè de Olla. The concha was super delicious. The Cafè de Olla was to sweet and had lots of cinnamon. I'll try the hot Cafè de Olla next time. The place is clean. Has a nice look to it. It's inside a shopping center, there's plenty of parking. This place just opened up a few days ago. It's a little gem. I'll definitely be back for more.

Paris Baguette Bakery & Restaurant is absolutely phenomenal! Entering this place feels exactly like…read morestepping into a cozy European café. They make daily, from-scratch pastries in small batches, ranging from mochi donuts, butter croissants, and custard-filled donuts to fresh baguette sandwiches, salads, and tons of drink selections like fresh juices, mineral waters, and lattes. The service is super friendly and incredibly fast. The system is so fun and easy: you just walk in, grab a tray and a pair of tongs, handpick your desired pastries, and head to the front. You can eat there or take them to go in a box. If you order a sandwich, they can heat it up on-site for you so you get a cheesy, warm, toasty meal. For this visit, we tried: World Cup Special Donut: A custard-filled donut topped with chocolate and shaped like a soccer ball in honor of the World Cup going on right now. The egg custard filling was so addictive and creamy--absolutely amazing! Almond Croissant: Stuffed with almond paste, covered in buttery, toasted almond slices, and dusted with powdered sugar. The flavor was fantastic! The inside could have been just a tiny bit more moist, and I always wish for more of that delicious almond filling, but it was still extremely flavorful. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Sitting outside is especially nice since you're facing busy Ventura Boulevard, making it a perfect spot to shade-sit and people-watch. Plus, it's located in a great shopping plaza, so there's plenty of parking. My only critique is that it is definitely a little overpriced, making it more of a "once-in-a-while" treat rather than a daily habit. Still, it's a truly fantastic spot if you want high-quality, fresh-baked bread and pastries~~~

Although it was close to closing time, the young man who was minding the shop was very friendly and gracious in answering our questions. They have a beautiful selection of cake slices, pastries, and even coffee drinks available. They do custom whole cakes for birthdays and other occasions. With the name of Napoleon, I thought it was a French bakery. It turns out that they specialize in a number of European confections, including options from Eastern Europe. Without a lot of time before they were done for the day, Dear Hubby and I each chose a cake slice, and we got a cake pop for our Sweet Granddaughter. She got to pick the color icing she preferred, which was nice. The pricing seems fair, especially given the loving care that's gone into baking and decorating each baked treat. We will definitely be visiting again. They are within 5 to 10 minutes of where our kids live, so there you go - a new "secret" place discovered!

We saw this place next door after having lunch/dinner at Boiling Pot next door on Sunday. The…read moreplace looked popular with tables filled on the patio and the pastries on display through the window looked intriguing so decided to take a chance and maybe get a small coffee and some pastries to try. There was a young man at the counter who welcomed us with a wonderful smile. He said his name is Said (pronounced Sa-eed) and asked if it was our first time here. We said it was, so he offered to give us some samples of their most popular bake goods. He said it is made of light custard and it's called soft cake and it is traditional pastry from his country in Uzbekistan that his mother bakes all from scratch. In Asia we also don't like overly sweet cakes so we thought it sounded to fit our taste preferences. And we loved it after trying! My mom said it tastes very similar to the cake she had back in Seoul in her childhood she misses fondly, but she could never have that same taste. Just a little sweeter. But the custard and texture of the cake is just the same. We also got the eclair. And it was pretty good too. But definitely recommend the soft cake!! Sooo yummyyy!! I also got the strawberry cold foam matcha latte and my mom got a small americano coffee. She said it's the best coffee she had in a cafe. Of course superb compared to Starbucks or any other coffee franchise. She says American coffee shops always burn their beans so it tastes burnt, but this place roasted the beans just right. And we also loved the strawberry cold foam matcha. I don't know how, but it tasted like really strawberry was in the drink!! My mom said it's the best strawberry milk she ever had here and in Korea! And she wants to order again when we come by next time. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Food and drinks were all prepared with such care, but given at a reasonable time. Some of these cafes take forever to make your drinks, even Starbucks makes you wait 20 minutes! These other coffee shops make it seem like they're doing some complex chemistry experiment how long it takes for just a drink! But this young guy he makes the drink in under 5 min and it tastes 10x better anything those other coffee shops make, but in less than half the time! I really thought maybe it was really hard making drinks, but this young dude makes it look like a walk in the park, the speed and ease he cranks out the drinks. I think Uzbekistan people must be just built different! and he was also so kind and pleasant taking the time to explain and answer all our questions. Some of these other places wouldn't even bother or make it feel like you're pulling a nail from them the way they grimace. He was so nice we wanted to give a tip, but he even said he didn't want us to. He'd happily accept just our enjoying the food and drinks and would appreciate if we left a review for his cafe. just had to leave a review. Especially after how nice he is. And hearing his story and how it's a family run bakery with the mom baking and son making drinks and running front counter. And an authentic European bakery!! Wow! Aren't we so glad they moved into our neighborhood! A Real quality cafe I didn't even know what I was missing until I stepped into this little shop by mere chance! I Will definitely come by again. And anyone else who discovers this little gem would be so lucky and blessed as us!

Before I get into the details of the picture shown, I need to mention that accidents happen and…read moresometimes they happen on the day you really don't want it to- but it does. As long as no lives were lost, and no fights were involved all is fine. For us all is fine. There was a terrible event that happened; but, it was addressed very sincerely. I ordered a quarter sheet flagship Berries and Cream cake withe customized details on the cake. It was a birthday cake for 3 people. Shivon showed me a sample of what I would see. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, on the way to our house, the driver had a near accident. The cake was ruined. We needed the (surprise) birthday cake at the house before the birthday people came to the house so it would not be seen. The driver was supposed to be at my house before 10:00AM. He was making good time; but when 10:05 came, we started getting worried. When he did arrive he showed us the smashed cake you see in the picture. I sent the picture to Shivon and she sounded like she was going to have a heart attack! She profusely apologized and told me she was going to make this better. She went overboard!! I supposed knowing that there were 3 birthday people she made 3 separate different flavored small round cakes (not that little I might add!), a dozen cupcakes . I am not a fan of sweets; but, all of the cakes and cupcakes I tasted were excellent! And yes, per the menu very expensive- but for the quality, so worth it. I wish I had taken pictures of the cakes she sent. But, we were rushing around so much by that time, I couldn't. The driver however took pictures. So, if Shivon can get them up on this post, you will be able to see what I mean by going overboard! Shivon is more than just a salesperson she is a very sincere and empathetic person. We will definitely be back. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is that the delivery person should have contacted Shivon as soon as it was known that the cake was ruined so she could have started on a new cake, or at least prepared Shivon for a situation that she would not have had to freak out on! I felt so bad for her!
