The khameh/cream in the cream puff is the most authentic and closest to what my mom used to make. 2. The various roulette flavors. Each is unique and incredibly delicious. 3. Ambience/vibes/layout. For a bakery it's SUPER EXPENSIVE I got 5 pieces and it's was over $20; $20.99 to be exact. Service is as good as it can be for having a young adult working. The place is small, clean where the customer stands to order but messy behind the counters. I stopped by when I saw the grand opening sign. The shop has a variety of sweets, Persian Cakes and Ice cream and variety of nuts. The service is pleasant and it 's mostly for take out. We went back today for the Pistachio Saffron ice cream they carry in store and we were not disappointed! The flavor of the rosewater is a nice touch and the chunks of pistachio nuts is a good texture variety with the flavor. I really appreciate that the ingredient list is simple and straight forward too. I love that they don't use preservatives in their ingredients list. I went around noon and I asked if they have cream puffs and the cashier went to the back and came back and said it will be ready in 15-20 min. 15 minutes later I went to check and the baker asked me what are you waiting for. I said cream puffs and she said it will be ready in 15-20 min. I said ok, 15 min later I go in to check and they tell me again it will be ready in 15-20 min. Chef is CONSTANTLY SMOKING right in front of his business. I was super excited to see a new bakery was coming to town. We frequent the plaza multiple times during the week. On the week of grand opening, the chef was sitting outside at his tables smoking with some of his friends. Mind you, this was right in front of his storefront at his own tables. Not only is it disgusting to see the person baking your pastries smoking, but to do this within less than 1 ft from the entrance of the door is so unprofessional and against the law in CA. We decided to skip trying it that day, but wanting to support a new business, we gave it a chance another day. The service was great and the lady who was at the counter was friendly. She recommended the cream puffs, the danishes, and slices of their rolled cakes. Nothing was a standout except for the raspberry cake. The location and pastries are beautiful, but so expensive for what you get. Since then, we have seen the owner chain smoking frequently right in front of the business and near all the businesses next to them. read more
