Food: They were out of tofu. -Toast Bagel Salad: Delicious, very fresh & the star of the meal. -Zucchini sticks: - the menu states they are breaded and when they arrived to the table they were zucchini tempura, soggy & greasy. $12.95 for 9 small pieces. We asked the server about the breaded zucchini listed on the menu and she said that they don't make it breaded. -Margarita Pizza: Served lukewarm/cold. Crust was undercooked. Bland flavor -Vegan Veggie Omelette: Good. -Complimentary Bread w/spread: Good They have a nice display of baked goodies. Service: Disappointing to say the least. Our server never came back to our table to check to see how everything was once she dropped off the food. She apparently was upset because someone in our party was asking about Vegan options and given that they were out of Tofu she wanted to know what other foods/options they could make. Our server went back to tell the owner/owner's wife that we were making a big deal about asking for accommodations for vegan options. Is it not reasonable to ask questions about alternative vegan options when the restaurant is out of Tofu??? Our server never came back to the table other than to drop off the bill. We did speak to the woman/owner who listened, gave excuses and later tried to fix things by bringing complimentary vegan cookies to the table and have small talk. This was my first experience dining here. The friends I was with have been here several times before over the years. Ambiance: -Beautiful interior with an open airy feel. There's also outdoor patio seating. Very clean. I'm still on the fence whether I would return again to give them another try. I'm in no rush to return. I'm giving this place 4 stars. If we talk about taste alone it's definitely a 5. The food was very delicious and everything tasted fresh. The place is clean, the atmosphere is nice, and the service was very good. It's a good spot to sit for a quiet breakfast, whether you come alone or as a couple. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the price. It's a bit expensive. I ordered one toast and an appetizer platter and it came out to about $60 before tip, which feels a little high. Would I come back? Yes, for sure. Especially if someone is visiting from Israel and wants a good Israeli style breakfast. But coming here regularly with the whole family could get very expensive. read more

I had lunch there last Friday. Manager had a HORRIBLE attitude. For a $2.50 dispute/misunderstanding about upgraded bread charge for my sandwich-- which I never ordered-- they lost a customer. It's rare, but I've experienced something like that in the past, and the server or manager always credited that portion of my bill. The female manager that day should be disciplined by the owner. I visited Roladin for a quick lunch, and I wasn't sure what to order. I eventually settled on a simple Greek salad which came out to about $20 - ouch! The wait wasn't too bad - around 10 minutes. During my wait, I enjoyed sitting near the blue flame fireplace and relaxing in their comfy, castle-like decor. I would describe it as a regal feeling, but not so over-the-top that it was uncomfortably rich or unrelatable. Luxury - but within reason. So why the Greek salad? The menu picture and the nicely sliced avocados had me glancing back time and time again. I can't say that I enjoyed the price, but I did enjoy the salad. From the well-chopped lettuce to the fanned avocado, crumbly feta cheese, and sweet tomatoes, olives, onions, and cucumbers, I really couldn't find myself regretting the purchase. Overall, the salad was great, though the price was a little steep. My only disappointment was that the staff weren't quick to acknowledge me despite me having walked up to the cash register. Came across this bakery when I was shopping within the complex on a Monday afternoon and it was BUSY! There were 4-5 tables eating lunch, online orders, phone orders and a line to place orders. I already had lunch so decided to stop in for a latte. I had to wait ~5 minutes while the lady was taking a phone order and once she finished, proceeded to process an online order. She was apologetic but I felt like I waited too long. (Am I too spoiled?) I think they need another person handling orders if they are going to stay this busy (unless that was a fluke) I ordered an iced cafe latte and a chocolate dessert. I don't even know where to begin. I went to this place to eat with my pregnant fiancé and was met with such malice from the manager of the restaurant. I ordered food and asked for a vegan accommodation as I've done before and was told yes at first by the kitchen then the manager said no, twice, I'm like okay fine. I politely told the waitress I'll just eat elsewhere and my fiancé will still eat. Then before the food finished cooking I asked if we could just pay for our drinks and leave. My fiancé was becoming uncomfortable and I was hungry and didn't feel like I was wanted or accepted there. So the waitress said of course and brought the check. Then the manager comes with the food AFTER check was brought and said I have to pay for the food and eat it. I said excuse me, I already have a check for two drinks and you want me to pay for food I told you I didn't want. Then she started yelling at me in front of everybody. It wasn't until other customers stepped in and told her what she was doing wasn't right that she back off but told me to never come back to eat there again. I'm so shocked at what happened. Mediterranean & Israeli food are one of my favorites, so when I Stumbled upon this restaurant my taste buds started flowing and I had to get something in a pita because they have the best pita's. I ordered the Sabich pita it's made with hummus, eggplant, hard-boiled egg, salad, and tahini sauce. It was made and served fresh and warm, and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend everything on their menu seemed really good. They have a display with many dessert options that looked really appealing, so I'll have to try it another time . If you're looking for a kosher friendly restaurant in reseda, then Roladin is the place to go. The staff are super nice and friendly and the food is amazing. The bread is soft and buttery. We decided on Roladin because we'd been here once before and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It's located in a strip mall between a CVS and Ross. It's unassuming on the outside, with a small patio area and charming on the inside. My friend got the last table available and we sat down and looked forward to ordering a delicious lunch. We started with the Zucchini Tempura (which was really delicious BTW) as a starter. I ended up getting the Salmon Scramble and she got the Pear Salad. Everything was very, very good and satisfying. Service was attentive as we enjoyed each other's company and the meal. This is a great little spot for brunch or to catch up with a friend. They have a baked goods section and a full menu. We came for an early dinner, looking forward to dining at this restaurant. When we arrived we noticed the place was very clean and bright with modern decor. We were immediately greeted by a friendly server. We ordered the roasted whole cauliflower which came with tahini on the side. The cauliflower was presented on a plate with two small bowls of tahini. It was a tad mushy making cutting quite easy. My hubby's sabich consisted of a pita, mashed sautéed eggplant, pickles and a sliced hard boiled egg. The sandwich lacked overall flavor and was served with an Israeli salad and tahini. I ordered an ahi shawarma sandwich in a pita. Now for $15.95, I expected more ahi, instead I got warm ahi crumbles, with shreds of iceberg lettuce, pickle slices, a small amount of diced tomato on a pita. I was so surprised with my first bite to find the pita bread to be cold. It got warmer as I took a few more bites towards the center of the sandwich. My sandwich was also served with tahini and an Israeli salad. I usually like tahini as well as an Israeli salad. However, on this occasion the food was all just plain bland.
