Craving savory empanadas, your search stops here! Their empanadas are delicious! Their fillings are so good and flavorful while keeping the dough soft and flakey. They have lots of indoor/outdoor seating. Not sure if they have WiFi but looks like a nice coworking place and or a place to watch soccer. Dog friendly patio.

The line to order and their World Cup specials

Great vibes, we stopped by during a World Cup match and they had TV's out ready to go. There's a World Cup menu too, get their specials! I didn't have anything as I was waiting to get dinner a little later but my friend wanted to order an empanada they didn't yet have ready so he got a different one instead. We sat down to watch the game and after he finished his empanada, they brought out the original one he asked for at no charge bc it was finally ready. It was soooo sweet and completely unnecessary, they just went above and beyond bc they wanted to. I recommend this place wholeheartedly and the vibes are great for World Cup matches. Just a bunch of good people all around here - staff and patrons

The Argentina Empanada...Excellent!

I've been going to Maria Empanada at least 5 years now. I never realized that there were 4 other ones, and they're all 4+ Stars. The Empanadas are excellent, and the staff can tell them apart by the script on them. I have no idea what it could be... They usually do 2 Empanadas that are new and about a dozen others. Last time it was a Sweet BBQ Beef & an Italiano. This time it's an excellent Miso Steak & a Corn & Mexican Cheese one. Every Empanadas I've had from there for 5 years, has been just like the ones before. So you'll never have to worry about consistency. And since I saw that there's 5 total & they all have excellent reviews, proves my point even better. The ambience is really homie for an empanada place. They have a big espresso machine, outdoor seating and indoor seating. Inside is maybe 3 separate rooms with a TV viewable from every room!

After eating lunch yesterday this neighborhood gem was across the street. I wanted something to take home and eat for a snack later. I'm a stickler for beef so I bought their types of beef they have and went for a fruit one, their pear and a ham and cheese. That one would be great for breakfast but I ate it when I returned home as I couldn't wait.

Stopped in for a small bite on our way to another event and was not disappointed! A bacon, egg, and cheese empanada is just what the morning called for. This was an absolutely delicious treat. Service was quick and around $5 for a breakfast nosh, can't beat it! Having been to the one in Stanley Marketplace, I can't wait to revisit Maria Empanada on Broadway again!

We were just exploring Broadway and decided to stop in to Maria empanada, because we wanted a little snack, but not a heavy meal. Their menu is stacked, the names of each empanada are unique, I can't remember which one I went with by name, but it was chicken inside, and I got it with the garlic cilantro Crema. It was so delicious.! I almost went back and got another one. But instead, I tried their pistachio alfanores which was also super yummy and rich. Totally will come back to try more empanada varieties!

what shocked me about this place was not just the cute ambiance, but HOW SWEET the server at the counter was!! Felt like he's trying to build a community. A very cute spot to work from home, close to a gas station and other restaurants - cozy inside. They also offer coffee and PASTRIES Empanadas are mediumly priced at 6 each - I'm fine with it because the whole experience is fun. Great musical playlist in here too. It's like I'm transporting to another world

Stopped in for a quick to-go breakfast order between errands on a Saturday. Maria Empanada has plenty of options, and on this day, they had a new flavor: Bacon, Egg, & Cheese. It was filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, thick-cut bacon, a gooey blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, tomato, onion, and a touch of jalapeño. This empanada packed a ton of flavor, and I hope they keep it on the menu! Located on the NE corner at the intersection of S. Broadway and Louisiana, look for the bright golden sun painted on the side of the building. There is plenty of seating inside and patio seating on nice days. Walk up to the counter display to place your orders with the friendly employees who are happy to help or answer any questions you might have.

Quickly writing aboit Maria's new flavor! Sweet BBQ far exceeded my expectations. This place is my go-to location of Maria E and each time I go here there is absolutely no disappointment or whatsoever. And I was surprised by a new flavor at my most recent visit there just yesterday and it is Sweet BBQ! I almost always get a few empanadas when I go to Maria E's and along with this new face, I got me one of my go-to's, Potato and Egg (I like their vegetarian options a lot.) And yet, this Sweet BBQ truly shocked me. In a way, it beat the Potato and Egg far exceedingly. The sweet bbq sauce that marinated the meat had the perfect sweetness. And the sauce was just the right amount where it didn't overpower the meat. The store was (as always) spotlessly clean. Service top-notch. There is something special about Maria for sure!

Recently, I visited Buenos Aires for the first time and absolutely loved it! I returned home yesterday and had this strong desire to visit Maria Empanada. So glad this business exists in the greater Denver area. It so reminds me of being back in Argentina and it will inspire me to return again soon. Today I ordered one of their new empanadas, Italiana. It didn't disappoint! I also had my favorite, Argentinian. Always on point! Cappuccino and a small dessert were a nice bookend. I wish Maria would put a location in Castle Rock. Fingers crossed. LOVE this place!!

Very solid empanada and they don't skimp on the filling like some places do! I bet the vibes are fun during world cup matches- we didn't even think to go here during a game but the TV's looked like they were ready to go!

Loved this concept! Store was clean and staff were welcoming and helpful. The empanadas were delicious. We chose to get a 6 pack. They were easy to reheat and were very tasty.

While I was there though I was not going to pass up the chance to get some empanadas but since I didn't come with an agenda I just told the guy behind the counter give me two choices of whatever you think is good. I appreciated when instead of questioning or getting confused or asking a follow up he just "you got it boss" and entered in the choices without thinking twice. I knew that he was a real one for this. I got my mate which they have on tap! On tap mate is dangerous but it was very delicious. They had two flavors one mixed with orange juice and one that was simply sweetened (not overly sweet at all. Less sweet than any yellow canned mate you might be thinking of). I tried both choices and the orange juice one was really good but after a full glass I felt a little weighed down. I can't remember the last time I drank that much orange juice. The food comes out and this is where my review is going to get unhelpful. I have no idea what either of these are called and honestly I don't need to know. The flavors were on point for both. One was a traditional seeming empanada with a ground beef mixture on the inside. Not spicy but the flavors were robust. The outer layer of the empanada was also flavorful but fell apart a bit from the heavy sog of beef filling. The taste was still great for all of it and it came with some kind of chimichurri adjacent sauce on the side that was maybe the best thing about the empanada. The second choice was less of an empanada and more of a tart or small pie? It had cheese and corn for the filling and was extremely gooey. Like more gooey than it had any right to be. I don't need to tell you that the combination of crust, cheese, and corn was delicious. If anything it was maybe a little too simple but I could eat that any day of the week and be happy. I got a wonderful table outside under some shade and gave my baby daughter some bites of the meat filling. She loved it. Left after drinking two more cups of the standard mate and felt amazing.

Finally made it and it absolutely lived up to the hype…read more I was impressed by the market table and hot side bar. Most Brazilian steakhouses focus almost entirely on the meat, but I loved having so many fresh salads, sides, and hot dishes to mix in throughout the meal. The variety of meats was excellent, too. Each cut had its own seasoning and flavor profile, so it never felt repetitive like some places where every bite tastes the same despite being a different cut. But the real MVP? The Brazilian limeade. I genuinely could've had 10 of them. That and the caramelized plantains and grilled pineapple! Chefs kiss. I'd honestly go back just for those alone. If you've been debating whether it's worth trying, consider this your sign. Come hungry!

I was really excited to come here because I had heard so many great things about this restaurant. I…read morewent in with pretty high expectations because it's supposed to be a high-end dining experience, and unfortunately, my experience just did not live up to the hype at all. One of the positives was our server, Moses. He was friendly, attentive, and did his best to provide good service, so I don't want to take away from the effort he put in. My issues were really with the overall experience and some things that were completely outside of his control. The biggest problem for me was the amount of gnats flying around the restaurant. There were gnats everywhere, and it got to the point where we were literally having to put napkins over our plates in between bites just to keep them from landing on our food. That was extremely uncomfortable and honestly unacceptable for a restaurant that is presenting itself as an upscale, high-end dining experience. When you're paying higher prices for your meal, you expect the restaurant to have a certain level of cleanliness and attention to detail, and the gnats really took away from the entire experience. Another major disappointment was the meat service. After only about 30 minutes, they stopped bringing us meat, and we hadn't even gotten the opportunity to try every cut. That was especially frustrating because one of the main reasons you come to a restaurant like this is to experience the variety of meats and different cuts they offer. If the service is going to stop before you've even had a chance to try everything, it makes the experience feel incomplete. It also made me question whether I was really getting the experience I was paying for. I also ordered the salmon, and unfortunately, it was overcooked. That was probably one of the more disappointing parts of the meal for me because, considering this is supposed to be a high-end restaurant, I expected something as simple as a piece of salmon to be cooked properly. The salmon was dry and just wasn't what I would expect from a restaurant at this price point. When you're paying for an upscale dining experience, the food should be one of the strongest parts of the meal, and unfortunately, that wasn't the case for me. The atmosphere itself is definitely upscale and gives you the feeling that you're supposed to be having a more elevated dining experience. The decor and overall vibe are nice, and I can see why someone would be excited to come here. However, the atmosphere alone isn't enough to make up for the issues we experienced with the food, cleanliness, and service. Overall, I really wanted to love this place because of all the positive things I had heard beforehand, but unfortunately, the actual experience did not match the reputation. Moses was a good server and I appreciated his effort, but there were too many things that took away from the experience. Having gnats constantly flying around our food, stopping the meat service before we had tried all the cuts, and receiving overcooked salmon were all major disappointments. For the price, I expected a much more polished and enjoyable experience from beginning to end. If you're looking for a high-end restaurant where you feel like you're truly getting an experience worth your money, this unfortunately wouldn't be my first recommendation. There are definitely things I liked about the restaurant, but based on my experience, the food and overall execution just weren't up to the standard I expected.

Hubby got an IPA and I got a vodka soda. To start out I want to know the secret to their mashed potatoes, they are insanely creamy. I could eat those all day every day. Of course the cheese bread was yummy as always. Hubby stuck with red meat and the picanha was his absolute favorite. Their Caesar was delicious. Chimichurri was pretty good, but not the best I've ever had. I munched on anything vegetarian and it was all good but not exceptional (except for those mashed potatoes WOW). For dessert we got the chocolate cake and it was honestly pretty terrible. The worst part of the experience is that the bathrooms smelled so bad it made my eyes water and I had to leave the bathroom before going pee. The smell came about 15 feet into the restaurant so I imagine seating in that area was unbearable. The server said it's because they are on a septic and it was due to be pumped. Kind of ruined the end of the night for us, as we took dessert to go and rushed to go home since we both had to pee. I will say I've enjoyed the sides at other Brazilian steakhouses much more. I don't have pics because it was our anniversary so I put the phones away. The staff was all very friendly and the gauchos were all patient and explained each cut. I think I would try Fogo before returning here just to compare the two.
