The Spinach Enchaldas were so good. Im spanish sp im picky and my husband loved the steak quesadillas with the salsa and yes the salsa was just as delish. The chips and salsa were very good, salsa was a tad spicy but I liked it that way. Burrito wasn't enormous but it was good and filling. My wife had the arroz con pollo and it was exceptional. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her margarita.. Service was alright, we ordered a margarita after the initial order and it didn't come until the food was served and we had to remind them about it. First time in Sidney NE. Nice small town, nothing to do (to be honest) and everything closes super early!!! Came here for a work trip and found myself trying to find a place to eat that wasn't closed after 8pm. Came to a gas station and the sign Margaritas caught my eye. At first at was reluctant, because how good can a gas station restaurant be!? My bad! Never judge a book by its cover. When you first walk in you'll be taken aback by its beautiful decor and incredible art work on their chairs. Talk about clean!? That place is SPOTLESS!!! Great vibe and friendly and helpful staff. I had a burrito, which to my surprise was huge! But also very tasty! Came back the following day to eat a carne asada plate. Absolutely delicious!!! I don't know if I'll ever be back in Sidney NE but if I do, I'll be eating here every day. read more

This restaurant delivers a lot of food lb-for-lb for your dollar. We ordered a burrito, shrimp quesadillas, and the stir fry. We ordered takout and you get a huge bag of tortilla chips with your order. The chips could use more salt but were nice restaurant style (thin) chips. The salsa was a bit watery for my liking but did have a nice heat. The food is terrific and really nice quality. The stir fry had typical Mexican veggies (onions, peppers) but also broccoli, avocado, and mushrooms. The chicken quality was all white breast meat. The shrimp quesadilla was rich so maybe a pass if you don't like melted cheese. I found it to be very good and they provide a healthy portion of guacamole and sour cream with the order. Nicely decorated, plenty of seating. Complimentary hot chips with salsa was good. My waiter was pleasant, there was a little language barrier but that's ok. I ordered a combination steak, chicken and shrimp fajita because I'm greedy lol! Was a bit disappointed when my food came out on the skillet and it wasn't sizzling! I can see why it's so highly rated. The food was pretty good. Authentic? No. Definitely not authentic. It was tasty though. The beans were full of flavor, the rice was bland, but the meat was amazing. Their chili relleno is strange but still tasty. I'm not sure what it was exactly but it wasn't a traditional chili relleno. The decor was fun and bright and the service was great. Everyone was very helpful and sweet, even when there was a misunderstanding with the order. They fixed it and offered dessert. The plates were so big there wasn't room for dessert. A shining star in the vast expanse of Nebraska's high plains. A fantastic place to stop and reinvigorate before continuing the a road trip. I was greeted by a explosion of celebratory colors and friendly staff eager to seat us. Around 1pm the restaurant had a few patrons that filled seats sporadically throughout the establishment. The clean interior and the wonderful fragrance of food filled the room Our server took our order promptly and served the drinks swiftly. The horchata was sweet and delicious with great consistency. My steak, bean and rice burrito that was smothered in a red sauce, topped with delicious guacamole, tomatoes and cheese was expertly crafted and tasted like my abuela's home cooking. I went on a busy night, but the customer service was top quality. Very family orientated all of the waiters and waitresses were handling everything in a timely manner. Not Tex-Mex not Baja California Mexican but a very good middle ground. You had the option to dine in at a table a booth or at the bar. Very relaxed setting. A good place to get with your friends. Have a margarita and have a good conversation. I do like my food on more of a spicy level so it would have been nice if they offered a salsa with a little more bite or if they threw some hot peppers in the food but I understand with their location they do not want to have it be too much. I would definitely recommend, and I will definitely be eating there again. read more

Pretty nice Mexican place for Nebraska. The margarita machine was not working so I had to go beer and a shot. Otherwise everything was great. I had com o beef,chicken, and shrimp. The fajitas come with some sauce and a lot of it. The shrimp were a nice size. Their salsa is very good and just a bit spicy. Fajitas came with all the trimmings including guacamole, sour cream ect at no extra charge. The menu is pretty extensive and I'd love to try more items. read more

Very good food for the middle of nowhere. I really enjoyed the shrimp cocktail. The original margarita was great! They definitely have a lot of recipes for margaritas. My husband had the crispy Chili Relleno, it came with two. It didn't have a lot of the chili pepper in it, but we are thinking it is probably because he got the crispy version. Maybe the other option is the original style. The waiter came by quite a few times to check on us. Will definitely be back next time we come through. read more

Best advice is never be afraid of a gas station restaurant! Food was incredible, amazing, delicious. I had a the Chilaquiles con Huevos. Best I have ever eaten! We also ordered Huevos con Jamón, served with beans and rice, and it was a clean plate by the end. The chips were fresh and crisp. I would have to say that this is one of the best Mexican places or food restaurants with best employees. Their food is delicious, and it's worth visiting. Their menu looks super self explanatory, so I didn't have to ask bunch of questions about their food. But let me tell you this. Their doors is awesome and super delicious. I was full and I have ordered only one dish. The outside of the restaurant has lots of parking spaces for cars and for semi trucks. It's really easy to spot a restaurant from the interstate. The interior design looks so mexican. If you have ever been in Mexico you will know what I am talking about. After I have order my food, it came to me fast. It was super delicious and the plate was HUGE. I would have to say that this place is worth visiting. It's just because food is great and employees are amazing. Impressive for a middle-of-nowhere Mexican restaurant. We were just passing through on our way to Missouri and wanted something other than Arby's. I ordered the Enchiladas Divorciadas with one cheese, one beef and one chicken enchiladas. The cheese came with the red sauce, the beef came with a white sauce, and the chicken came with a green sauce. The best of the three was the cheese and that red sauce--yum! The white was my second fav. We got a side of hot sauce and beware, it is spicy. Use a little for a little heat or dump it all if you're a fire monster. Definitely the best traveling food we've had so far amongst the flat Midwest states. read more

Driving down I-80? Looking for dinner? Look no further! For a quick stop after driving along I-80, Margaritas was a great stop! I was extremely impressed with our service from Alfonso and our food was AWESOME. The chips were hot (the best thing to start a meal) and the salsa had great flavor (a little less chunky than I like, but still good!). We had the seafood enchiladas (fresh crab meat, yum), tacos carbon (loved the tortillas!!!), and tacos al pastor (tender meat). Every meal came with refried beans and rice also which was nice! I want to emphasize how great our server was also - very kind and quality service! Large place with plenty of seating as well. It was still super busy when we went late at night and I know why!
