I have noticed that every time we come to Taco John's, there is NEVER any ground beef on the Taco Bravo Beef. It's filled with beans, some cheese and about 3 strips of lettuce. When you specifically order ground beef, I expect ground beef! VERY DISAPPOINTED! My question is, are y'all CHEATING the customers? OF COURSE YOU ARE! The GM took my order. He initially interrupted me mid order with a loud "huh" and then when I increased the volume of my voice he acted like I was screaming at him. I told him I wanted extra seasoning on my oles. He said "are you sure? We season the crap out of them?" I said yes and he assured me putting extra on them would be too much, and didn't ring in extra seasoning. I got them and big surprise there wasn't enough seasoning to my liking. The food is pretty mid, and you're gonna have to wait a while. It's also pretty expensive because they don't allow coupons for anything online. The ambiance is not there because they share the restaurant with a gas station. read more

We stop here quite frequently on our weekly delivery route. It's a quick breakfast since we spend the night at the truck stop. Food is subpar and service is very rude, always have to wait for somebody at the counter and not friendly when they do take your order. Spent over $40 for our crew, and then went back in to ask for a small bowl for dog water after ours got cracked this morning. Nobody was at the counter and what seemed to be the boss came up and made a sarcastic comment that nobody works here, then started serving the line up. I asked another employee for a bowl and as he was about to answer me the boss said to the employee no we don't give them away unless they buy what's in it. He didn't acknowledge me at all. I would have paid however many cents it cost them for a single plastic bowl but the boss was so ignorant I just left. We will grab our breakfast from Love's from now on. read more

Literally messed up every single thing on our order. Was screwing around while making the food. Would not recommend.

Bought burritos that were cold at one end. Quesadillas, cheese not even melted. Assembled very sloppily. One bad apple might spoil it for the whole bunch. Also bought a Pepsi & after pouring from the fountain & getting to the car it was a cherry Pepsi in the Pepsi fountain. SMH read more

My first time eating at at Taco John's. Boy, was I disappointed.... I only ordered TWO crunchy tacos!!!! I didn't want to waste money on something I've never had before. First time ever here, and I'd have to say it was exactly what I imagined. Essentially Taco Bell, but kinda different. Tacos were good, mild sauce was aight. The oles were okay too, although essentially a fired shell with no potato on the inside. I liked that chips and cheese options though. This taco John's is inside a truckstop. It was the only option open near our hotel late in the evening. I am a big fan of taco John's and despite being late in the day and take out only displays did not disappoint. Food was prepared quickly was tasty and was hot. read more
