HIDDEN GEM ALERT!!! Great little coffee cafe bar (that includes adult beverages, Italian sodas, and baked goods). Just off the Interstate, the atmosphere is great! Good music playing but the volume is low enough that you can easily carry on a conversation. Great variety in the menu and the welcoming by the staff upon walking in was second to none! We got our drinks very quickly and they were accurate. We will definitely stop again when traveling through! read more

This is a delightful coffee shop with a friendly staff and welcoming ambiance. They had a few bottles of local wine for sale, coffee accessories such as travel mugs, plus the coffee drinks and baked goods. There was also partnership table with the Sidney Friends of the Library group selling Blind Date with a Book mystery books. How fun is that? Bookguy had a refreshing frozen lemonade that he really liked and a breakfast bagel sandwich. He had no comments on the sandwich, which means he liked it. I had a plain bagel with Italian cream cheese. The garlic in the cream cheese was barely noticeable, which was the perfect amount. The bagel was very fresh and soft. We ate at a little table outside, but it was a bit chilly so we didn't linger. We wouldn't have found it except it was on the Nebraska Passport. Locals and travelers will like stopping in. read more

Heading out of Sidney early morning, I was happy to find a coffee shop close to the hotel and highway. The shop is decorated to create an inviting atmosphere. I ordered a latte and the coffee was delicious. Great way to start the morning. I gave it a 4 because the coffee was so good. I would have given a 5 rating except for the service. I walked in when there were a few customers in the drive through lane. There was absolutely no one else in the store. I stood there for probably 2 minutes with no one even acknowledging that I was there. Three women proceeded to ignore me while they made other orders. I was about ready to ask if anyone was going to help me when they finally took my order. I almost walked out. Even just a 'we will be with you in a second', would have been appreciated. read more

First off the stuffed pretzels are to live for!!! The best pretzels I have ever tasted and they made the rest of my day. I bought one with cream cheese stuffed and one with jalapeño cream cheese, then I went back in and bought 2 more. I also got the doughnut holes and also bought 2 more bags of them. The coffee is also just amazing and tastes phenomenal. The customer service was just as excellent. Very clean and cute shop. WOULD RECOMMEND if you need some coffee or any type of pastry. Great little coffee house! Open for in house as well as drive thru (which was pretty long). The coffee is delicious! Tried the cinnamon apple scone and wish I had bought two! So wonderful! Would be great if they smiled and be a little more attentive. The girl at the register didn't bother to help out with the choice of coffee. Asked for a latte 1/2 shot and mentioned that I don't like bitter coffee and see if they could make it less bitter, she rolled her eyes. Spacious and clean indoors and likewise outdoors, plenty of seating for both (3 tables outside). Friendly employees who will also come out and take orders if the drive through line gets too long. Good coffee, with several specialty offerings, for the morning, alcohol drinks for later in the day. 4 stars because though I thought my latte, with oat milk and sugar free hazelnut, was good, my husband said his espresso was just ok. Amazing! On a long road trip pulled off looking for coffee and stumbled upon Beans & Steams and so glad we did. Lots of flavor choices, the owner helped me pick out the perfect flavor combination. Honey, lavender with oat milk it was perfect not too sweet and just enough flavoring. I am a huge coffee drinker and it takes a lot for me to "feel" the effects. I am for sure feeling awake after just one large coffee from here! Worth the stop, it's right off of the highway. read more
