Absolutely delicious! This was my first time trying this restaurant and I was quite impressed! I got the steak fajitas, a lemonade, and a thing of salsa. The portions were very generous. Certainly a good value for the money. The steak was so tender and flavorful. The refried beans and rice that come with the fajitas were so delicious too. I'll be ordering again for sure. My lemonade was in a bag. Perfect for transporting it home. I ordered for pickup through Uber eats. I was very happy with how they packed up my food. The restaurant looked very clean and had a great ambiance to it when I got there to pick up the food. So for me this was a bit of a change from Mojave that I had been to pre-COVID, a lot more "trendy". The food was pretty good. My husband said the chicken on his tostada was good enough. My chimichanga however kind of lacked the classic fried 'crunch' I wanted. The beans and rice seemed a little too salty for my taste. The drinks, of course, were the star of the show. I had the virgin passionfruit daiquiri and my husband had the Margarita. The presentation was a bit excessive but the drinks were good! The fried ice cream with fruity pebbles was a very interesting take on fried ice cream. It was my first time ordering fried ice cream so I was a bit disappointed. We came here after a short bike ride to Boring and back, but it was a hot day and we were tired and looking for good Mexican food... and we found it, and not just that, but great drinks! I think this is a chain, maybe a local chain, as I see locations in Beaverton and Happy Valley too. We got the margarita flight. The "Best in Town" was a traditional margarita with very good quality tequila. The coconut & raspberry was very tasty, though a bit perfume-y? The passionfruit & pear was really tasty, and the winner was... The Blazing Margarita with slices of jalapeño (I'd have liked it even spicier, but still, it was fruity with a nice kick). I got beef fajitas and she got a mixed plate. Fajitas are a "thing" for me. We came from Texas a good while ago and after 34 years, got to know fajitas at places like Escalanté's (he invented fajitas, it's actually a pure TexMex dish, not Mexican) and Mama Ninfas and so many others. The key, I believe to the best fajitas are 1) skirt steak is an absolute must, it lies closer to the liver and has great flavor, 2) a hot smoky grill, preferably with mesquite charcoal, 3) lots of peppers and onions, 4) no frickin' tomato-based sauces (what the heck is wrong with you, Portland, that's gross!) 5) soy sauce if you want to up your game a notch like Josie's in Port O'Connor. They pretty much nailed 1-3, though maybe it wasn't mesquite, but still. Really honest fajitas and a lot of it. Just what my stomach wanted... well, my mouth, I guess ;). Her mixed plate got a hearty thumbs up. We sat outside where it was still shady and nice. Nobody was masking... my wife is immune compromised and her doc still wants her to avoid risks, but outdoor seating is just the ticket (20 times less risk than indoors, if this is important to you). The servers were really quite nice and did a great job of both explaining the margarita options (HUGE variety including frozen margaritas, which seem to still be quite rare in our area...) and also just chatting us up and making us feel welcome. Went here last night with my wife. Food is good. Service is ok. Prices are insane!!!! $14.99 for "chunky guac". Let's be real you're just too lazy to mash it up so you leave it chunky and because you did less work and give it a crazy name you're charging more. Not to mention with these high prices you add 2% to the bill for inflation? So you inflate your prices then add 2% more? Seems like a rip off. Service is ok because we had to wait 20 minutes to place a drink and dinner order. Then we had to wait 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive and another 45 minutes for the food. At least we had a show. Homeless person showed up outside and did some meth and something else out of a piece of aluminum foil. Then proceeded to walk around the outside table. Talk about salivating! Right when I walked in I was met with staff that I felt was genuinely happy to have me there! Their smiles and service were nothing short of amazingly welcoming. And let me remind you that I love love love love love spicy food so when I tell you the food I ordered did not disappoint! Figired we would come by for some Sunday all day happy hour. It's real gringo food, but what would expect from a sports bar. Not saying it's bad quality food, but it is just borderline Mexican food. We grabbed a 5 dollar margarita, you can taste the well tequila l, and it's a good size, so it must have a couple shots in it. So not a horrible deal, if you drink stuff.. Quesadilla for another 6 bucks, nachos with chicken, another 7 bucks, and a 5 spot for enchilada... no sides or rice n beans, just entree. I often judge a Mexican restaurant by the way they prepare chile rellenos. As you know, a chile relleno is made with a whipped egg batter--lightly deep fried to a golden yellow color. It should be light and airy, like a silky crepe--and puffy. It should gently dissolve in your mouth. Theirs was a dark brown (baked in an oven for an ungodly amount of time). It is supposed to be stuffed with bright mozzarella or a creamy pepper-jack cheese. This thing had hard, overcooked, cheap cheese, was dry and had roughly the shape, density and taste of my wallet. Zero flavor coming from the (allegedly) poblano pepper (which had been cooked so long, it had largely dissolved). No light salsa verde blanket sauce or any moisture. Just dry, baked nonsense. Arizona biscuit with a blizzard of iceberg lettuce (plate filler). The taco I ate was in a grocery store premade shell, filled with some ground mystery meat. I swear it was a Taco Bell taco, except smaller and the price was 1000% more. I got the same taco in my adult entree that my 3rd grade kid got in his kiddie meal. Small. Stupid. Then, they flooded the rest of my plate with "beans" and rice. At the local fast food taco store, the manufacturer sends bean flakes to mix into an unrecognizable slurry that they slather onto their cheap "bean" burritos. This was what was on my plate. It was indistinguishable from beans. Mud. Were these once beans??? The rice was unimaginative white rice with food coloring, and some chili powder. Probably made by Rice-a-Roni (the SanFrancisco treat). No onions. No specs of actual tomatoes or authentic seasoning. Dry. A Plate filler. The chips and salsa were mediocre. Again...unimaginative. Probably bagged chips. The salsa had a good taste, but it was runny and cheap. We ordered guacamole. It was a large portion and fresh, but the avocado chunks were huge and lacked seasoning. It looked a wreck and you'd only taste flavor on every 5th bite. All the pieces were there, just not executed. Loud rap music. Crowded. Our waitress gushed with fake enthusiasm and was constantly trying to upsell. Cut back on the mascara please. Nauseating. Glitz with little substance. Inauthentic food. They tout "best Mexican food in Gresham." Really? I think you'd be tied with a Swanson TV dinner. Please make real Mexican food. $110.00 for a family of four (this is ordering off the kids menu for 2 kids). No thank you very much. A rip off. read more

This place has some awesome drinks with cool cups, names, and flavors. I got the ER margarita and it came out literally 2 minutes after I ordered. Super fast. The tell you how to open the "IV" which was cool. The margarita was nice and strong and the Jell-O shot syringe was surprisingly very good and tasted like the ones I remember from college. Got the chicken taquitos as well and they were okay. Nothing more worthy to get but a good appetizer to share. Well be back for drinks. Food is overpriced (even during happy hour), drinks are gimmicky (although pretty decent tasting), and overrated I feel. Went there for happy hour after it was recommended by some friends. The menu is not clear due to a lack of prices and details. Such as, we ordered the tacos from happy hour menu and asked for one of each of the meats, thinking we can get a single order with three different tacos. Nope, was three separate plates, with three tacos each. The guacamole was just large chunks of avocado with a bit of other things around it, and the calamari felt like they were trying to cover up the lack of it with other random additions.
