There were onion rings ordered too, with a delicious batter than stuck to the onion when you bit into it, not sliding out like so many do. I ordered a steak, medium. It was perfectly cooked. Why can't we cook a steak that way at home? I took my half for another meal, along with hubby's leftover onion rings and my baked potato. Most bars with a similar vibe serve overly sweet, premixed cocktails that are either way too strong or watered down. Not here. The drinks are balanced and well made every time. The staff has always been friendly and genuinely seems to enjoy being here, you can tell they care about each other, the customers, and their work. The owner is often seen walking around, greeting guests and jumping in to support the team whenever needed. The overall look of the place hasn't changed much, and honestly, it doesn't need to.
