So I paid for the spinach ricotta (which is charged as two toppings) and it, too, tasted...off. I actually scraped it off my pizza. You know when spinach has been in the refrigerator too long and it gets that kinda unpleasant taste and smell? Yeah. That's what this was like tonight. So overall, this is a restaurant I enjoy. A nice young guy from the back came and proceeded to apologize and help my husband. We are black and each person that walked in after my husband and was greeted and helped were white. It is too hard not to think its a race thing. PJ isn't a big store in Horn Lake, there is NO WAY they didn't see my husband standing there. We left and called the manager, Katie, and she apologized profusely. But it is always the experience that someone remembers, the way you made them feel! I am writing this review b/c I saw how it made my husband feel...we will not be back to that one.
