This is my go-to pizza place, primarily because it is the only pizza place on this end of Slidell. Not necessarily a bad thing because my family enjoys Marco's way more than the other chains. Historically this location has been two-stars at best, but they have a new manager recently and things are noticeably improved. They still screw up (stuff happens, right?) but they are good at acknowledging the mistakes and making them right. The only consistent problem I encounter is the timing - the app promises a pickup time and then the pizzas are seldom ready when I get there. If I order early in the day for a specific pickup time the pies will be ready. If I order from the house for ASAP then I can expect to wait beyond the projected time from the app. Your results may vary. Nothing happening is going to drive me away. read more

Absolutely Ridiculous. Placed an order at 4:45 and didn't get it until 7:00. I live five minutes away from the restaurant. Only brought me half of what I payed for. Called back for the rest of my order which took another 30 minutes to arrive. Food was completely cold. The DoorDash delivery drivers are a mess. Delivery was consistently efficient when Marcos employed their own drivers. Needless to say I will never be ordering from this location ever again. read more

Always very satisfied with Marco's. Tried it once at a pool party and loved its fluffy and garlic parmesan crust. Today, I tried out their Cheesy Bread for lunch while at work. Wowza. Make sure to get the garlic butter and pizza sauce. Luckily, it comes with the Cheesy Bread ($6.69) at no extra cost. Yes both! You can even substitute for ranch or any other sauces. I like the additional perks the offer through their Marco's app. I've received many $10 off coupons that can be combined with other offers/deals they have going on. Not only is it cost effective for a group but it's delicious. The employees have never made any errors with our orders and always shown to be kind and attentive. read more

So ordered online through Yelp. Appears that gets me GrubHub delivery. I ordered a pizza and brownie, but Marco's was out of Brownies, so GrubHub decided to replace with cinnamon squares without contacting me. I had a contactless delivery, so driver was gone before I opened the box. I called Marco's, who said it was GrubHubs choice and I would have to contact them. I texted the driver, who said I had to call GrubHub customer service. I called customer service, and got a refund for the dessert, and an apology, but took me longer to make all the contacts that I spent eating my pizza. Soooo, no more Marco's, no more GrubHub!! read more

There are 3 different pizza joints between home and Marcos, but I go there for the old world pepperoni. Well, used to anyway. I read all the reviews before I ordered my pizza, and I said,ahh, they must be crazy. I've been here a dozen times over the years, it's not like that. Boy was I wrong!! I ordered dinner at 6:14 pm. It was delivered at 7:52. 1 hour 40 minutes. It was delivered so cold it had to be reheated before we could eat dinner. That's really disappointing! This pizza was really good. I actually ordered from the wrong Marco's location because, life. When I looked at the reviews and noticed there were only 2.5 stars I was worried the pizza would be disgusting. However, I was pleasantly surprised and it was delicious. It tasted as good as fast food chain pizza could taste. We ordered one garden pizza and one old world pepperoni and black olives. Both satisfied our craving for pizza and I didn't have to cook so that's always a plus. Looking through the other reviews it seems that the poor reviews came from failed or late delivery. We ordered carryout so, delivery may still be a problem. Just pick it up. It can be ready in 20 mins or less or you may wait up to an hour for delivery. read more

I ordered the Greek salad a few days ago. It was made with iceberg lettuce and the olives were not kalamata. Okay, it's a take out place, I get it. I ate my lunch and about an hour later my stomach was REALLY messed up. I was nauseous all evening. Everything seemed to be fresh-tasting. Maybe it was the dressing? This is the new location on the east side of Gause Blvd (the one next to Smoothie King). Everyone that I work with say that I MUST try Marco's pizza and I did. It was pretty good. They don't have as many fancy items as other fast food chains but they sure do their pizza right. This Marco's is pretty small with a tiny waiting area with an open view to the kitchen. My boyfriend noticed it was really cool in there considering there were pizza ovens in that place. While we were waiting we watched them make orders. The crust is semi hand-tossed. The dough is run through a machine first and then tossed effortlessly in the air. No matter how many times you see someone tossing dough it never gets old. The guy that was doing it managed to get it so thin without getting a tear. The place seemed pretty busy as they were getting a ton of phone orders, so it's kind of hard to order in their lobby. Eventually we ordered a traditional pizza, to try their crust, with pepperoni and mushrooms. The lady taking our order asked us we wanted to try their new crust toppings (I forget what they called it) and we opted for garlic. The pizza itself was great, the crust was great but not really garlicky. A few dips or marinara sauce made it spectacular. Next time we are getting thin crust, since the boyfriend and I are such big fans of that. We also ordered their cheezy bread. For some reason, I don't know if it was because we had to wait so long or if we ordered a special, we received it fo FREEEEEEE. That made it taste even better than it did. It is definitely different than just pizza dough crust. It is really dense with baked on grated cheese and lots of parmesan on top. As I mentioned before I don't eat pizza often and I'm not saying this is the greatest, mightiest, New York style pizza or whatever-is-your-idea-of-a-great-pizza in the world. Bye bye Domino"s, Pizza Hut, et al. HELLO MARCO's!!!! I say that with a bit of a disclaimer. 99% of the time we get the large Pepperoni Magnifico (or something like that)....it's delicious. We have had it probably 6 times and each time I put the first piece in my mouth I say...I'm surprised it still tastes GREAT after yet another time. If you like pepperoni then you'll love this. That being said, we tried a large pizza - I think 2 or 3 ingredients and it was just ok - a let down from the pepperoni special. We prefer the flavor of Marco's pizza over all of the other pizza chains in the area. However, I'd recommend ordering for lunch and picking it up yourself to avoid a wait. This place is consistently great. They had a steak pizza recently which was amazing. Go for something different & ask for their New York style crust. It's worth trying out. 3.29.16 Ordered a 2 topping pizza with pepperoni & Beef, cheezy sticks and Chicken poppers with hot sauce. Pizza gave me the SHITS about 5 minutes after finishing 2 pieces! Tried a chicken popper, extremely dry and rubbery. Im not smart, tried another piece of pizza couple hours later thinking maybe it wasnt the food. PFFFFT, same effect as first.
