Very good dough and the sauce a little sweet but not overly so. Good seasoning levels in the sauce and mozzarella was also quality. Wings were good as well but the salad was great. It had feta, cranberries and candied walnuts with a nice assortment of greens. Not your usual pizza place salad! Service was great and order took about 30 minutes but it was a busy dinner time! There are some tables inside as well so dine in is also an option. Ambiance is casual.

I ordered a $5, 1-topping, 12" pizza, which is their special on Mondays. My rating is based on the…read morevalue as well as the pizza. Toppings: 5/5 I have never seen so many topping before on a 1-topping. Americans go overboard on toppings generally anyways, so I never order more than two toppings on a pizza. But wow. Cheese: 5/5 The amount of cheese on this pizza was a double-cheese equivalent at Dominos or Pizza Hut. It wasn't fresh mozzarella (like they hopefully have on their hearth baked ones), but it was cheese galore. Sauce: 4/5 The two most important parts of a pizza is the crust and the sauce. That is what takes skill. This sauce is really quite good. Much better than you will find in any local chain like Howie's or Cottage Inn, and slightly better than Dominos or Pizza Hut. Not awesome, but good. It doesn't taste like that nasty and sugary stuff. Crust: 3.5/5 I don't go easy on crust reviews. 3.5 is actually good for America. 5/5 Is a good joint in Naples. The crust here was better than Dominos and Pizza Hut. It was somewhat light and did not get soggy. But at the same time the outer edges were compressed and not airy at all. Pizza joints should pride themselves on the crust, and not have the cheese go half an inch to the edge like this one. Anyone can throw a bunch of cheese down. Crust is what separates the truly good pizza. Overall, it's good pizza. I will be back. I can foresee them taking a lot of customers away from Cottage Inn if they were closer to the bars and had late night deals. I would like to try their hearth pizza next, to see if it comes close to a Neapolitan style.

Everything seemed right: location, reputation, aromas, price and food presentation but…read moreunfortunately Spagnuolo's fell short on taste and texture. We opted for the margarita pizza, pasta carbonara, and chicken parmesan. Our entrees each came with a piece of focaccia and a side salad. (Super great value but I guess in this instance, you get what you pay for) The salad was fresh and the bread was fluffy and warm. The margarita pizza is served with tomato sauce, cheddar cheese, and a sprinkle of basil; certainly not the margarita pizza neither of us or our tastebuds are accustomed. The chicken parmesan was beautiful when brought to the table. However, disappointment set in after the first few bites. The chicken was not breaded in the least nor was it seemingly seasoned. After doctoring with black pepper, red pepper flakes, and extra parmesan it was tolerable as the tomato sauce had decent flavor. The carbonara would have been better with half of the pasta or twice the sauce, it just was uneventful. Our beverages were decent and also fairly priced. The service was also a highlight of the experience. The team members we encountered were friendly although I'm not sure I trust their judgement on which dishes to select. The restaurant itself was a casual setting with scattered diners throughout. There were some regulars, which was evident through interactions with team members, and a mixture of young and mature families. We really wanted to love Spagnuolo's as it is close to our new home and when you're in the mood for saucy pasta goodness or having a shove pizza in my face moment, you don't want to have to go far. It seems our search will continue.

I think it took at least 15 minutes to get our drinks ordered and of course the food order after that took probably close to 20 minutes. What I find surprising is that ordering an appetizer and salads took a long time to get. Aren't those easy things? I guess I resented ordering breadsticks when the meal came with foccia bread anyway so now we were stuck with all this bread on our table. I had the chicken Parmesan and it was covered with so much cheese! I couldn't tell if there was any chicken on the plate. The side of pasta was not more than a cup serving and the sauce unremarkable. The waitress was also the bartender which made service extra slow. Place decent and dated but nothing to write home about. I'm glad I can't go back!

In this economy? NO THANK YOU. If you are looking for an amazing gluten free pizza in the area that is delicious and larger for a similar price check out Sidebar and Art's pub! ********************************************************** I thought a business would be happy to bring money in. Not this one, apparently. Food: 1. A small gluten free pizza for $21: The pizza was tiny and overly priced. It looked and tasted like a frozen pizza with lunch meat thrown on top. Can't speak for their regular pizzas. Complete waste of money. 2. BOGO chicken wings: Some pieces were good, some were overly crispy. nothing memorable other than they were buy one get one free. Delivery: If ordering through DoorDash, be warned, Pizza House fulfills their own deliveries. Translation: Get fucked. The order will not arrive on time, you have no idea when the order is ready for pickup from the driver nor when they have left nor when they will arrive or how far they are from arriving! The estimate from DoorDash will let you down because it won't even be close to it. I called the restaurant number multiple times. First time: was told they have a 45-60 minute window. (For what, expected wait time? Guarantee their excellent service? Nope.) Second time: It has now been over 60 minutes. Waited another five minutes to give them more time. Called back and the guy who picked up told me "they just left around 10 minutes ago" WHAT? Continued in the next section. Customer Service: The manager here is a real piece of work. I'm sure her employees love working for her /s. Continued: He said I could speak to his manager. Okay. Same lady from call one. She was angry as soon as she got on the phone yelling that she specifically DID NOT SAY THE WORD GUARANTEE when I asked about how long the order would take (it was way past the Door Dash arrival time when ai first called). I told her what the other employee told me. She starts hysterically yelling again, HE SAID THAT? HE REALLY SAID THAT? and I said, yea, you can put him on the phone right now and ask him. She questioned him right on the spot. I felt bad for the guy honestly. Turns out I was telling the truth. I asked her what was going on with the order because it had now been longer than 65 minutes. This was not a very good experience at all thus far. She asked me if the driver had shown up, which miraculously for them they did right at that moment (I feel bad for what would have happened to the driver if he hadn't shown up right then). She basically said "is that all?" before hanging up. Wow. Bottom Line: As a customer who frequently orders takeout on food delivery apps, I could have been a regular. No, actually the food sucked so that was never going to happen in the first place. But after dealing with this manager (in a kind and patient way btw) the complete lack of desire to provide kind service, maybe an apology, maybe even a small discount for a future order, anything? No. Don't expect anything, except yelling, anger, and a holier than thou attitude. Wow. Not only will I never will order from this place again, even in a pinch, you better believe I'm warning all my colleagues at MSU too. Pizza House employees blink three times if you need help sent! Sincerely, (A hungry) Someone in customer service for 10+ years P.S. Where did the tip I left on the DoorDash app go? I hope it went to the driver. Something gives me a feeling it probably didn't.
