We had a 6 top and ordered alot of food and this place charged an admin fee and the waiter offered extra spoons for dessert but didn't tell us there would be a $7 sharing fee. Almost $20 in fees when we already had a large tab. I left a $50 tip but had I known about all of the fees I would have taken that out of the tip. We enjoyed our food but such a turnoff when an establishment will add fees to your bill without being upfront about it. Makes you wonder what else they are hiding. read more

My wife and I had lunch on 7/31/2025 around 11/30AM. The food and service was fine but the bill had some surprises. My wife and I both had their Lunch Soup and Salad. The waitress gave us choices of soup and salads and we thought the cost would be the same. My wife's "Michigan Cherry Salad" cost an extra $3.00 on top of the listed price of $14.50. I paid $14.50 for my "House Salad and Soup. The other surprise was an "Admin Fee of 4.75% which came to $1.80. So for two Soup and Salads, a coffee and a tea our total bill was $42.08 not including a tip. Kinda high for what we got. read more

We had my daughter's rehearsal dinner at Pizza House, an all you can eat buffet, with water and soft drinks included. We booked for 34 people, we only had 25 show up. Our bill should have been $500-$600 which turned into an $1100 bill. Brittany the assistant manager, would not adjust for the 9 less people, and there wasn't even enough food, had the other nine people been there, they brought out 9 pizzas. no leftovers. My first red flag was it was a Friday night and the place was empty. I am sure they added a very large tip. They failed to issue me a receipt. Fun place to gather as a group. Lots of space and can converse without it being too loud. Had an amazing burger. Bottom bun was soggy but other than that a delicious experience. I've had their salads multiple times and they come out with limp leaves or brushing. They used to make a fantastic and fresh salad. I would suggest they return to that. This place is over priced and over salted. There is plenty of good pizza in the area, so head somewhere else. Dominos is better than this place. I ordered a veggie pizza with several toppings. When the pizza arrived there were only two broccoli pieces on my entire pizza. A personal size pizza was 19 dollars with three veggies toppings - wild! Had a very good brunch at the Pizza Haus. I arrived around 11:00 am and was seated for a table of 4 and was promptly asked for a drink order. It is an old school pizza place. When I walked in I told my wife it smelled like I remember Pizza Hut smelling when I was a kid. They specialize, as you see from the photos, in Chicago style stuffed. Their execution of it is solid. Not any better than a chain like Uno, and in my opinion a shade worse than Giordano's or malnati's, but not at all bad. Comes out quicker than those big places too (though we were here when it was far from busy). The rest of the menu is entirely standards, sandwiches and protein-heavy salads and fryer food. Haute cuisine this is not . However, they get extra points and this is a four star review for their beer list. Outstanding variety of drafts, heavy on interesting local Michigan things that made our hop heads happy, wide set of styles.
