Instead, I waited until they left and went out of my way to speak with the manager privately and respectfully. Rather than taking accountability for serving poor-quality food on dirty dinnerware, the manager hid behind rigid policy. They refused to offer a refund or an adjustment because the meal was partially eaten.Eating half a meal to see if it gets any better isn't an endorsement of quality--it's a customer trying to make the best of a bad dish. Waiting to speak to management privately was a courtesy to the business, not an admission of satisfaction.To make matters worse, I ended up losing over $20 on a meal I only expected to cost around $15 due to unexpected upcharges on the final bill. Paying a premium to eat burnt food in an unsanitary environment while being dismissed by management is unacceptable.I still have my physical receipt to prove my visit. It is highly disappointing to see a local, family-owned business treat paying customers with such disregard. We will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for dinner.
