The mashed potatoes and green beans were great. The wedge salad my other half got with his steak was wonderful. The blue cheese was very mild and excellent (and I'm not a blue cheese fan)! The petit filet was cooked perfectly but the risotto was clumpy and mushy. I hate to say this, but the steak was good, but not $50 good. My other half said it was kind of bland. Overall, this is a good little place. We do plan to go back and try other menu items like the seafood tacos or the almond crusted red snapper. Why only three stars? There were two things that really turned off the meal. The plating of the dish with "a glazed carrot" (menu quote) and my fried potatoes. Two small pieces of carrot, not glazed and pretty raw paired with less than half of a potato wasn't great. Made the meal feel cheap in the plating. $29 for the dish was a bit much even for a steakhouse. Two carrots and more than 1 ounce of potato are an inexpensive addition and would have made the plate actually worth the hefty price tag.
